Speed's Auto Auction

I've been going to speeds auto auction for over a year. They have a wide variety of vehicles to bid on. It's up to you the buyer to come and inspect the vehicle so that you can evaluate it and bid accordingly. Most of the negative reviews come from people not inspecting the vehicle prior to bidding. You are buying A.
AS IS CAR.
But there are some great deals to be had.
And if you go to auction and bid. You can save yourself more money.
They also have pizza on the hood and feed you during the auction.
And if you're there live after the auction they hold cash drawings. You must be present to win. Overall it's a great experience.
If you have never been to a car auction. Treat yourself and a friend and go. You'll probably have a great story too tell afterward

Bought my first vehicle from speeds auto auction. The process was pretty easy for a newbie like me. Picking up and paying for your vehicle is a little chaotic but that's the nature of this beast. The lady that took my money was polite and helpful. I would buy from them again.

Everyone should be able to get a valuable vehicle at auction prices. Speeds let's anyone come and bid on their cars, no dealer licence required. Now that let's them stand out as a local business and a community minded business at that. They make the process easy and walk you through the re-registering your new car, motorcycle, or truck. This lets everyone have the ability to flip a vehicle or two and find a nice vehicle for you. Very cool.

Good place to find cars that you need and cheap cars and cars don't run and fixer uppers I've got a few cars here

I have to say my overall experience with them is very positive the Hillsboro location definitely seemed a lot more like they had their thing together and more organized. However both locations have been positive experiences. The people were very nice and I can only say good things. Very professional and polite. 😊

Great customer service and awesome place to buy and sell cars. Brad the auctioneer is friendly and fun to deal with. Everyone is very accommodating to your needs and you get treated fairly. Darryl and Stephanie, the owners, will make sure to take care of you. Looking forward to many more auctions at both of their locations.

Great place to buy cars, fees are reasonable compared to other insurance auctions.

I purchased a car online and when I checked out it in person noticed some cosmetic imperfections and was frustrated about it. I decided not to pay for the car, walked away, and wrote here about my experience. One of the managers reached out to me and asked to tell her about my experience.
Why I decided to update this review is for the reason that she listened and provided me with help.
They indeed have exceptional customer service.
I live far away and can not come on Mondays to check out the cars before the auction day. This was the reason why I made the mistake of buying a car. It had scratches on the roof and a dent aft of the fender and the door was binding it causing a squawking sound which is impossible to tell from the pictures right?! But the good thing is she offered that in the future I can call them and someone will go out and verify the condition and answer my questions and concerns about the condition of the car.

My previous review:
If you're 1st time buyer I would not recommend you buy the car online. 1) Pictures are hiding lots of cosmetic damage/defects.
2) You can not see the condition under the hood
3) You don't see the interior, rear seats, and headliner.

But if someone can go out and verify the condition of the paint, scratches, rear seats and under the hood basically the problem is solved.
They said they are working on upgrading the system to be able to add more than 4 photos. Would be really a good improvement and convenience for online buyers.

Awesome experience! I attended their online auction, the event went off without a hitch, I ended up winning with a high bid. Their website explains everything throughout the process. When I arrived to pay for my purchase the staff was very friendly and helpful. 5 stars for sure!

The review from Hillbilly Hills is FALSE. I work for this company, and we NEVER have anyone's social security number. If someone is signing up to be an ONLINE bidder, they must set up an account, just like purchasing an item on any other company's website. We are a family-owned business that has been in business since the 1950's. We have thousands of loyal customers who trust and depend on us for their used vehicle needs.

Owners have always been very helpful as well as their employees. We heard about them from a friend that got a great deal on a mustang. So we went up and got some good deals on some vehicles. Overall good experiences and good people.

Great experience. DO YOUR REASERCH!!! ITS A RISK AND YOU BETTER KNOW WHAT YOUR BUYING. all and all its a fast paced exciting way to purchase used vehicles. I personally have made really good deals. AND I have made some not so good deals. At this time i have purchased around a dozen cars and trucks. Most of them have sold for more than what i paid. The truck i drive daily and haul all my trailers and tools for the last three years i picked up for a fraction of its value. So im happy.

I sincerely apologize. The wait was not speeds auto auction. It was the dealership I had purchased the vehicle from. They were in a waiting loophole on getting the purchase verified, and the dealer was not responsive. Great communication from them and the paperwork showed up yesterday. So I would say be patient with them, and they will make ends meet. If you ever need a car I would actually go to them directly. Instead of a lower end dealership. Bought 10 cars here over the past 6 years or so. Love them, great service and the best way to buy a car

Great place to buy and sell vehicles without the hassle! I have done both and I bought a 2005 Honda Civic. I’ve almost had it a year it is very reliable got me thru last years snow storm and it has great previous maintenance records from Midas. Oh and customer service is exceptional they look out for their customers.

I can’t believe how good the customer service was. On time, reliable, and great pricing. I Don’t usually leave reviews but this body shop went above and beyond so I will return the favor. Definitely a lifelong costumer and referring all friends and family to speeds auto
