Sage Studio salon

I came in to get a few inches cut off and left satisfied. I didn't have much preference going in and was given some suggestions for face framing and such which I took. Molly did a great job and was very kind. It was a bit close to close but it didn't feel rushed to me. I usually say no heat at salons since they often just straighten my hair and make me look crazy. But she did some light curls that I really liked the look of. I see other reviews mention gossip but they only spoke positively of clients that weren't there so it must depend on who you get.

Biased opinion: I see the best employee in the whole salon. 🩷 As for the salon, great space! Clean, bright, enough room to bring all of my kids. Employees seem happy here, not stressed or anything, positive atmosphere.

Oh my gosh! I’ve been looking for a new hairdresser within my budget for almost the past year now, after my last lady retired.. well I went to Molly for a full highlight root retouch and she did GREAT! I absolutely love my hair! I’d 10/10 recommend this salon😍

Molly is the best. My husband and I followed her to Sage a few years ago, and she has always done exactly what we wanted. My friends have always asked who does my hair and I'm happy to tell them. We love her and her clean, inviting salon.

Megan was awesome! I have ridiculously weird hair, bangs where there shouldn't be, all 4 quarters of my head have different color issues which leave most stylists at a loss! She took it on, was a little baffled, but hit the ground running and for the first time in 4 years my hair color is exactly what I wanted. This is not an easy task! Nice salon, great location, friendly staff, great experience all the way around!

This place is amazing . It has great atmosphere. Very professional. Stylist are always helpful and knowledgeable. Michelle always doesn’t a great job and listens to what I want. I always leave here completely satisfied.

This salon has the most wonderful staff. Michelle is a talented hairdresser. I go to her every time I get my hair done. They also have a little boutique in there with some really cute things. Very classy place yet comfortable.

Molly does my hair. I usually get a blonde color weave. Color and tone is always great. Salon is clean and inviting with good lighting. Very professional and priced correctly. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had been sick for weeks and had put my long hair up in a bun. By the time I was better it had turned into a massive dreadlocked mess! I’ve always had super long hair and I decided to have it cut off, which was really a great experience! I was treated so well, not judged and actually looked good leaving! I will be returning for my hair appointments to sage from now on!

Got recommended to Amber, it was my first time getting lash extensions, she did amazing!! Very friendly, she only took an hour, made them look perfect for my 21st birthday. She talks you through everything and makes sure you’re comfortable before starting the process. Thanks so much! She doesn’t take card, so Venmo/cashapp/PayPal/cash, but definitely worth every penny!!

I got my very first wax done here yesterday. I am leaving for Dominican and thought let's try something new. Oh boy! This was an experience!
The salon is a very nice little spot in historic downtown Troutdale. I was welcomed with the same pleasantries that anyone have come to expect from a salon and then led to a private room in the back.
I really did not know what I was getting myself into and ladies I applaud you for your bravery.
Through my screams of agony and explicit laced yells; laughter could be heard throughout the salon reassuring me that I am not as tough as I think. Amber the aesthetician that was in charge of my torture, I mean hair removal was equally kind as she was ruthless and showed the perfect temperament for a job that requires you to get someone to relax as you pull every hair from their body. She eased my mind with funny stories of her father as she quickly tore the hairs from my skin and did not get in the least bit offended as I balled my fist and yelled "I hate you". She would just smile and tell me "no you do not and you are going to love this afterwards". As she then would rip the the wax from my very hairy leg and the cycle would continue.
Highly recommend that you try it. I have never felt so smooth and I am ready for long, less sweaty hours of travel to paradise. And I am going back in a few weeks because I am told it gets easier. Do not be afraid to try new things especially when it is done by someone so cool. Thanks Amber.1

Well ...it wasn't me but the better half who got her hair cut at Sage and she looks GREAT. She loves the cut and said it was very comfortable and the staff was lovely! We are here getting our truck worked on at the truckstop and it was close enough to walk to...highly recommend! Thanks Sammi!

Molly is the Goddess of hair... she and her staff are the most wonderful people on earth
