Salish Ponds Wetland Park

I love coming here to ground and unwind. It's public, so it's free. Parking is found on the left side of the parking lot of The Lodges at Lake Salish apartments. You'll see a little sign when you pull into the apartments. There's numerous areas to explore for some solitude, if that's your thing. I'm really glad to have found this place! I also highly recommend checking out the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden if you don't mind spending a few bucks(:

Super confusing to find - you have to go through some apartment complex nearby. Drove all around it with no clear entrance. There are parking spots designated for people going to the pond / park. Cute ! lots of ducks and dragon flies. Nice trails not too steep or anything. Has a small dock for fishing

Great eco friendly place to enjoy a sunny day with your pup ,your best friend or by your self Don't forget you can trout fish .

If you are a Pokemon fan, you could play Pokemon go; there are a lot of Poke stops and gyms.

There's something for everyone here! Well maintained, well patrolled. Definitely a park to frequent and be proud of.

My family loves this little trail. Our two year old can walk w us and feed the ducks. There are several docks you can fish from. The trail is well maintained with gravel, paved sections, a bridge, and grassy areas. The are benches along the way to rest and enjoy the nature sounds.

Beautiful place! I’ve heard trout live in here though I’ve never caught any except a tiny catfish. This place used to be a rock quarry by the way!

Took the dogs Jr. Around for a walk . Nice little place to have a stroll and chat.

Such a beautiful place, in the middle of it all it's a world away. So much to do and beautiful, the plants and animals, just awesome place to go for a walk with nature and be inside the city

Gorgeous large areas to walk around. If there is concern about security each time I've gone there has been an officer patrolling the area. If you like to fish, there are docks and other areas to fish from. You're not supposed to swim in the ponds, but of course that didn't stop my dog

The lupines are in bloom right now and I saw some adorable baby geese there today. I love this place. Always such pretty flowers and animals.

Nice place to take your dog and walk around a couple. Little small ponds ungraveled walkways actually kind of peaceful to walk there. You do have to park in the apartments next to it or the school on the other side of it for parking. Do not park out on the street. Enjoyed my walk and will be back.

Very cute little park to walk through. It's quite and you were surrounded by nature. Parking is very limited.

Wonderful trails, plenty of spaces to rest along the way

I love this mini nature escape in the middle of the Portland-Gresham hubub. Great walking path with benches, wildlife, and the occasional vagrant.

Great park there’s fishing spots and docks,public bathrooms ducks and geese.

This is a really nice pond, and there are some trails around and a loop around it. There aren’t spots to lay down but there’s benches and places where you can get close to the water.

Amazing paths and lots of places to reflect and refuel.
