Called on a last minute notice on a Friday and he got me in and was able to get my alternator replaced on one of my fleet vehicles. I was impressed and thankful for such a fast turnaround time. I also felt like the price was completely fair.

This is Danny Johnson, owner of River Valley Lawncare Services. I was referred to Merle at B and M by Damon at Phonenix tire. Damon, his tech and I spent almost 3 hours trying to resolve a loud squeaking issue on a 2013 F250 4wd I own. The best we could determine was the sound was coming from the right side front U joint. We greased the zerk with a few pumps of grease and still didn't resolve the issue. Damon suggested I try Merle and boy am I glad I listened to him. I took it in thinking it was going to need a new U joint and he said it would be around $430 to replace. I told him that sounded very reasonable and asked when he could get to it. He said drop it off early in the morning and he would replace the U joint. So i dropped it off at 7:30 and Merle calls me at 2 to tell me that it didn't need a U joint but the auto locking front hubs had been turned to the manual position and that the U joints all the way around needed fresh grease. He greased it all up and told me the squeak went away and it did. I have been driving it for a couple hours and no more squeak. Only $80. So instead of just replacing the U joint and charging me he did what a good honest mechanic should do and I am here to tell you folks guys like Merle are 1 in a million. Definitely taking all 3 of my trucks to him in the future. Highly recommend. Highly.
