Side A Brewing - Restaurant and Pub

Coolest vibes, great food, good beer, fun location, and BEST STAFF EVER! My wife and I swung in on our route home on I-84 and pleased that we took the detour. What a fun experience. Definitely worth a stop if you want to venture out and see the cute, little town and this historical place. Check out or salads! Impressive!

My friend and I were in town for a birthday and were recommended Side A for dinner. SO GOOD! The service was incredible, the Korean Pork tacos were unexpectedly delicious, and we came back our second night! Both our servers were SO bubbly and kind and the food was quick and there is something on the menu for everyone!

The food was amazing! Tuna sandwich was perfectly cooked, sauces were delicious. The bartender was very friendly and atmosphere was charming. Tasty selection of beer and cider too.

Must try Ahi tuna. I took it out of the sandwich and placed it on the pasta and shrimp minus the shrimp. Delicious! I really mean delicious! Hoorah to chef.

Had a delicious burger with loaded fries. The beer was excellent both on draft and from the limited supply beer fridge. Solid atmosphere and friendly service also. Generally a go to spot if I'm in town.

A must! They have a great menu and the food is delicious! I really liked their peanut butter burger, and their fries is just right! Gets busy later in the day, so right before 5pm is a good time! Oh and the staff are incredible! Super friendly!

What a great place to stop if you're heading through La Grande OR. We had delicious food and brews for lunch. Their fried chicken is on point along with their tacos, dirty salad, dirty fries, and mac and cheese. Their stout also goes great with their dessert too. We will definitely visit again when in town.

Set in an old firehouse, this brewery does both beer and food really well. The house burger has a really nice Smokey flavor and the fries are delicious. The flagship beer, Oregon Fog Hazy IPA is a must try for any hoppy head that enjoys their beer to taste like a flower. A must stop for anyone on 84 who loves beer.

Great food, great beer. We stopped for lunch had the peanut butter bacon burger and fried chicken salad. Both were excellent.

We were passing through La Grande. Since not many places were open on Saturday evening, we ended up at "Side A Brewing."

It was a very busy time for them, and despite the wait, I wanted to give them 5 stars for their outstanding customer service, thanks to Brittany. While I watched the kitchen staff, I was highly impressed by how quickly they handled the order slips. There was no moment of pause for them. I had to inquire about their names and commend them for their excellent work and good food.
It's quite challenging to find good workers nowadays. So, Jaxsan, David, and Kevin, well done, guys! Keep it up!

Went with some friends for the first time and loved every minute. Got a delicious Grilled Cheese with Chimmichurri and a Raspberry Sour that was so good I had to have two. Loved the atmosphere, the service, and the old fire station stuff on display. Nice clean bathrooms too.

Great restaurant. I had simple burger with fries, and Mac and cheese. The burger was well cooked juicy and tasty. The Mac and cheese was amazing. The fries was okay. The place looks nice and big. The prices were inexpensive compared to other places that serve food with the same quality.

Stopped by after seeing the billboard while driving to Boise. Fun little place, great staff, chill vibe. It's in an old firehouse which is fun. I had the Ahi sandwich which was very nice and the side salad was very fresh and a healthy portion. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area or driving through. Oh, and the beer of course was great!

Great vibe, service, food, and beer! Difficult to find (for me) as it looks like the fire station. But a kind stranger showed me. The Korean pork tacos were amazeballs.

Sat at the bar and we each had a pint. Great place, good beer, friendly service. Menus looked great, but we weren't hungry

This place is awesome! The beer is great, the food we had was really good, and the service was great too. Lots of street parking. Discreetly marked entrance, just a small sign - worth finding. Would go here again next time we're in La Grande.

2019 update: Stopped by here again on our way to Salt Lake City, and again it was great. We stopped for lunch with a lot of driving ahead of us so no beer but the food was great again and they have 32oz cans to go. Still at the top of my list.

Great spot. Food was amazing, beer was tasty too. Staff were very friendly. Lots of beer available to go. Bobolink is 2 blocks over with a huge beer selection too. Tre B and brewer are awesome, thanks so much for having us and a great time.

The IPA’s are REALLY good, the Oregon Fog is sweet, a good river floatin’ drink. I got a really nice red wine. The burgers are thick, everything tasted fantastic. The spicy peanut butter burger was juice, sweet, spicy. The buns are really soft and fresh. The kale Caesar is FIRE!

The service was quick professional and curtious. Food was served quick and of the highest quality. The beer was very good vibrant flavors and excellent color. Add on a museum that my two 7 y.o. were fully engaged in, great experience with memories for a life time
