I live in Australia and Nancy Halvorsen fabrics can be very hard to find. I sent an email to Mama's with some purchase requests. They arrived today and I am thrilled! Thank you so much. Hoping to be able to visit in person in September!

Mama's Log House is a quilters paradise and has everything you need and things you didn't know you needed! Across the street is her "Academy" where classes are taught with enough space for approximately 25 people to learn and sew. The Academy also features fabrics at 40 percent off. What's not to love?! The owner is a lovely, delightful lady who is generous to the bone.

Mama’s Log House is the best quilt store in the nation! It’s out in the country away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s located in a beautiful area that’s easy to find with Google maps. It’s stocked with top of the line fabrics, patterns and notions that are irresistible, so bring your wallet!!!
Kay Voss is the proprietor and Krissy Barnes is almost always there to help you find what you’re looking for. There are so many wonderful, talented ladies that congregate there in the next door Academy, and they are always willing to help with any project you might be having trouble with. The Academy also has sale fabrics. It’s a great place to visit with friends, learn new techniques, and create a new quilt.

A wonderful place to get lost is a sea of beautiful fabric and notions! The owner and staff are so helpful and knowledgeable! If they don't have what you are looking for, you probably don't really need it. It is a great place to spend time, relax and enjoy shopping.

If you sew, this is the place to go for all of your fabric and sewing needs/wants!!! The owner keeps all of the latest fabrics in stock and is always ordering new. You will not be disappointed with your visit!!

This shop is like a candy store for quilters! However long you plan to be there, double it...you might see it all! It is deceptively small from the outside.
