The staff is amazing, always accommodating and loving with our first two dependents who at times are anxious or have an attitude.

Called to get a walk-in last minute before the Thanksgiving holiday when my 13 year old dog had a painful swollen eye suddenly. They worked me in within 30 minutes of calling. Dr. South was informative and friendly, and the staff was all pleasant. The facility itself is nicely done and very modern look and feel. We were sent home with three medications, and all in stayed under $250 which is well worth the quick pre-holiday peace of mind. Definitely keeping Dr. South on my list!

The ladies helped us get in for Emergency with our poodle Goose! THWY took care of us and him! The bill was not outrageous like most other emergency situations. 10/10

We were RV camping nearby and noticed early this morning that our goldendoodle needed medical care. I called them at 7:45, and they said to bring him in (to be worked in), but that it might take a while. No problem, we weren't going to drive today until we were sure he was okay. They were extremely caring and efficient, from the front office to the vet himself. The vet was thorough and diagnosed him quickly. They sent him home with 2 medications, and he's feeling better already! We can't be more grateful for this practice. My senior dog can now finish this 3-week trip free of pain.

I can't say enough good things about this place.!!! All 3 of our pitbulls have been and seen by these amazing people. From our first pittie (Noel) and her tummy issues to the other eating stuff they aren't suppose to.(Billy goats in a pittbull body).
This entire staff from receptionist to vets themselves ate very loving towards any animal that walks thru their door. Couldn't ask for better people to treat out fur babies!!!!

We had to have our fur baby put down yesterday. The whole staff was so caring, compassionate, and empathetic to us and so respectful to our Hunter. It was the most comforting experience during such a hard decision. 100% recommend.

Super friendly and amazing staff. They helped us out when our puppy was stung my a wasp. Answer all my questions and took very good care of our girl.

A couple of weeks ago I had to put my Lab of 14 years I've had, down due to illness. I was completely devastated, but the Veterinarian and vet tech seemed very compationate. I was a mess and they gave me time to say goodbye. I highly recommend this vet clinic. 5 stars. RIP Cheyenne! You are VERY missed!

Today I had to put my sweet baby girl Cali down. The vet and the staff were very compassionate. They tried to make everything comfortable for the passing of our loved one. Even though my baby girl is gone I know at least they cared very much for my cat.

These are very caring people. They are great about telling you the options and the cost for all of those options. They have great after hours options for emergencies too. Highly recommend.

Beyond amazing! I could not thank everyone here enough! They helped me in so many ways getting my pets ready for international travel. I can't thank everyone there enough! My dog and cat are safe overseas thanks to the staff and doctors here!

My cat had to be put down. They made it easier to deal with. Then they did something unexpected but so very appreciated… they sent in the mail the card you can see in the photos I’ve attached.

The best place to take your pets! We’ve taken our dogs to River Valley Animal Hospital for 5+ years and have always received exceptional care. We recently had a sick puppy and came by for a walk in appointment. They worked us in on a busy day, and let us take our time asking any questions we had. Dr. Brasuell was amazing, caring, and helped get our pooch back to feeling A+! This is THE place to take your pets!

I had to have my dog put to sleep today 😭 I took her to River Valley animal Hospital and I want to thank them for being so wonderful to me and my Lily ❤ To them Lily wasn’t a dog they treated her like she was part of their family, and they treated me like I was part of their family also ❤ The receptionist were so kind to me when I called asking questions, and the little girl that came and got Lily and took her to the back and brought her back to me was just as sweet as can be, and the vet came in and that’s when I knew that I had came to the right place it was the most comfortable thing that I could’ve done for Lily and for me. I would definitely recommend River Valley animal Hospital to anybody I know that needs to have their dog put to sleep, or for anything Your pet might need. It’s made this transition for me so much easier. I had Lily for many many years, and I don’t think I would be this calm under any other circumstance and I appreciate them helping me through this.

Took care of my fur-child's needs in a very clean, comfortable, and professional atmosphere. I wish I lived closer because I happen to live 900+ miles away. I will try to schedule visits when I travel to stop in and get my fur-son seen. Pet: 14 month old American Pitbull Terrier/Corgi mix. Minor allergies mostly to generic dog food and no other health issues. I dont go to the DR and only get vaccines so the same for my Son(k9). Staff are courteous and friendly. I will return for vaccines for sure.
While I was there somebody had a dog that pooped all over the place. It was so much I would guess the dog was in a kennel for like 24-48 prior to arrival. Please walk your dog before coming inside so your dog doesn't **** out 2 days worth all over the floor. Your dog will appreciate it and you won't be embarrassed.

Dr. South is great. Over the years he has taken care of our horses and dogs. Very compassionate when we had to put our dog down a few years ago. Now we have 3 dogs under his care and are very satisfied with Dr. South and his staff.

So grateful to have such a wonderful group of professionals ready to take care of my furkids.

River Valley Animal Hospital has always been fantastic. I have an unusual cat. He’s has terrible anxiety and it shows up as aggression on everyone.
They work with me and deal with his crazy.
