Wow! We had dinner at Xuma for Valentine’s Day, something my spouse and I typically avoid. But we’re so grateful we got to experience the first class meal they had for valentines dinner! As a vegetarian, most places only have a limited menu and the options are unfulfilling… this was nothing but incredible tasting food and perfect portions! And there was a vegetarian option for every course! Don’t walk, run to Xuma. Make sure to grab a spicy margarita too!

We were visiting Fayetteville for a long weekend and were lucky to visit this gem. If you’re eager for good quality food/ beverages and enjoy the experience of a meal, this spot is perfect. If you want a fast paced quick Tex Mex joint, this isn’t it. As a person with dietary restrictions (gluten free & vegetarian), the food was an absolute delight. As a margarita snob, I was super impressed. I strongly believe the negative reviews left were only a result of people who care more about the speed of getting into the door and getting food into their mouths versus quality of the food and the overall experience. The ambiance was an added bonus. I would absolutely return again, especially if we lived near by.

Fantastic brunch! Bolas de masa and gravy was such a great change of pace. Loved the gravy sauce, the addition of the pickled onion, and the masa balls. The chips are nice, thick tortilla chips. The cheese and salsa mix had a wonderful smokey flavor. And I found the jicama cakes had a yummy crema sauce with them. The patio on a crisp fall morning with a Bloody Mary was perfection

Their food is impeccable! Had the taquitos dorados with carnitas and 7 chiles sauce….such a beautiful plate! This is a dish I will never forget. We shared a piece of tres leches cake too, and my LORD. Best I’ve ever had. The owners are kind, hardworking, lovely people….drinks are well done too. Cannot rave enough about this place!

I'm definitely coming back here soon! The food was absolutely delicious with vegan or vegetarian options galore. I appreciated the ability to substitute a protien with avacado, cheese, or just shrimp if you're a pescatarian like myself. I got the Ahi Tuna salad with the fennel dressing and was absolutely blown away! The large portion of perfectly cooked tuna crusted with seasame seeds was surprisingly good. The combination of the carrot strips, avacado, and tuna in one bite was perfect. My wife and I were both impressed and eager to return on subsequent visits to NWA.
The environment I will describe as 'Hipster Casual' and it screams, "This is where you should brunch."
The kitchen is clearly harboring some talent because my dish was far from standard fare and done with style.

I drove by this months ago and thought the patio would be a great place to enjoy a meal. We tried it tonight and loved it. Very flavorful! Because this is a tapas place the portions are more like appetizers. We started off with their queso and salsa. Highly recommend the queso. I ended up getting their version of the French dip. It was very different in a good way. The bread was fresh, meat was tasty and the side of au jus had a tomato base. I loved it! Would definitely get again.

Sat outside, had a margarita, queso with corn tortillas and these potato taquitos. It was all Amazing! Our waitress Lilah was super attentive and answered any questions about the menu. Totally recommend and it deserves 5+ stars.

Had the best time here for NYE! We didn't have a reservation but they were able to seat us. Recommendations: queso fundido with chorizo and poblanos, house spicy margaritas, and tacos with carnitas!

Tasty brunch spot! Unique selection. We had no wait on a Sunday morning!! The jicama cakes were good & the 7 mile queso. Great service, even out on the patio.

Xuma is a “must go” if you’re in Fayetteville. I had the torta and was blown away. The Peruvian pink refried beans almost stole the show from the marinated chicken I chose for the filling. This torta has it all. Filling of choice, escabeche, pink bean spread, avocado, and house made mayonnaise. Grab a house-made margarita and you’ll be in heaven.

This is hands down one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in Fayetteville. My (almost) 7 year old and I come here about once a month for our mom/son dinner nights. He loves the taco de asada. Tonight I ordered the torta, and it is honestly the best thing I’ve had here so far. I try something new every time, and I’m always satisfied. This place is underrated. It is easily 5 stars!

Been a few times now and I really like this place. It isn’t really like other Mexican places here that serve massive portions smothered in cheese, but the quality of food is much better. I like the tacos and enfrijoladas. Some of the taco sauces are really spicy. The little quesadillas are good too. Solid beer selection. Cool location.

The food was delicious, BUT don’t come here if you’re really hungry. The portions were extremely small which we didn’t realize, but I guess that’s because it’s a tapas bar? Which we didn’t know either until reading other reviews (I think they need to mention it somewhere on the website!) I think it’s a great place, but just make sure you know what to expect going in.

Worked a couple of shifts here before declining the job to go to another trade. Everyone here was beautiful and pleasant to work with. Cleanliness and professionalism in the kitchen.

Beautiful people, beautiful restaurant, beautiful (and delicious) food. Great bar program as well!

Great atmosphere. Love the menu, very different and original, and the food is so delicious. Love how you can change almost all dishes into vegan or glutton-free.

Good place to go with your friends, family or spouse. Def won’t be disappointed.

This is the best Mexican/Peruvian restaurant in Fayetteville. Hands down. So much flavor, approachable portions, great drinks from scratch. 10/10 recommend. Haven’t had anything here I didn’t love
