This place is always great if you want a taste of New Orleans without being there. The service was great, and the food came out quick and hot. I ordered the muffaletta, and it took me right back to the first time I had one in New Orleans. My friend ordered the red beans and rice and he said it was very good. We ordered beignets to share. They were overdone for my liking, but he liked them.

The fried catfish plate was wonderful! The shrimp po boy was delish. The duck gumbo was really good. The fried artichokes are a must. Definitely a must when in Fayetteville! I will have a dinner review coming soon. Can't wait to try the BBQ shrimp. Will keep you posted. Eat, drink and be awesome!!

Their fried green tomatoes and catfish are some of the absolute best I’ve ever had! The service is great, and do not skip out on the beignet and coffee because its wonderful as well.

Loved it. I don’t leave a lot of reviews typically but my wife and I went and it was great. Staff was super pleasant without being overbearing. Truly a great vibe in general. I got the Shrimp Pontchartrain and my wife got the Red Beans and Rice. Both were great. We got the fire cracker shrimp as an appetizer and it is the best. Beignets were pretty good. We plan on coming back.

All I can say is WOW! I started with the crab cake and it was the best I've had outside in Boston. The Catfish Cecile (huge catfish filet resting on crawfish etouffee) was spectacular! The catfish was amazing - I wouldn't usually recommend a catfish filet, but this was really good - good texture, perfectly seasoned and super crispy!

The location is pretty small and has kind of a "hole in the wall" feel, but the staff was really nice and there wasn't a wait when I got there. As I was leaving, the place really filled up.

If you like Cajun food, give this place a try!

Every time I go here I step back into New Orleans, Southern Cajun done right. Eggplant Nepolean is a delicacy and a food coma.

LOVE love love the food here. One of my favorites in the area. We moved here about 6 months ago and have found it difficult to find good food that's appropriately priced. Cafe Rue Orleans fits the bill! The team is kind and attentive. I once waited a bit for my mimosa and they brought out an extra-large one as an apology. It's a casual spot, cozy and clean.

I wish I could give this restaurant more stars than just five, everything was perfect.

The atmosphere, though it looks small is quite nice, almost

similar to a ma and pa diner, the restaurant was clean as a whistle and the view from the window table was breathtaking.

The service was top-notch, our waitress, Sarah was hard-working and diligent, and her attitude made us feel right at home and welcomed. Our chefs Jordan and Jamie prepared the food well and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

The food was delicious, we tried the fried green tomatoes, the cajun popcorn, and the Gator tots.

The fried green tomatoes were thin and crispy but packed a punch of flavor, and the tartness of the tomato was well balanced with its fried shell; I've had fried green tomatoes from another restaurant, but the ones from Café Rue Orleans were the most enjoyable.

The Gator tots were hot and chewy, the meat felt like it melted in your mouth.

The cajun popcorn was nice and had a bit of a kick, the crawl fish was a nice addition to the other appetizers we had.

The sauces they served were good with everything, but my favorite sauce was what they served with the fried green tomatoes.

The price is a bit up there, but it is worth it for such delicious food.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, around the area or out of town or state. I know I can't wait to go back.

I took my mom to try the fried green tomatoes a day after her birthday and she enjoyed every bite, the crawl fish reminded her of her childhood.

Never knew this place existed. I’ve passed by for years and always thought it was an office building. Glad we stopped and got to try the Eggplant with Crawfish, Mac and Chicken Gumbo. Everything was very good and will be looking forward to the next visit. Wished we would had known sooner!

Feels and tastes like authentic Cajun food. The food is always incredible and is of high quality *consistently*. Service is great and generally you don't have to wait too long to get your food after ordering.

It's a small, quaint place so plan ahead if you have a large party; generally they don't do reservations. Also, Sunday brunch can get busy (especially when college kids are in town) so just be prepared to wait a little bit for a table.

I live in South Louisiana near Lafayette and the food and service my son and I got today was top notch. I travel all across the country for work and there have been very few places I can say this tastes just like home and Cafe Rue Orleans definitely took the top spot for places outside of Louisiana for Southern Louisiana cuisine for me.

As a South Louisiana native, I’m SO HAPPY this place is here in Fayetteville. It has such a nice and cozy vibe that you’d find in New Orleans. Service is always top tier and friendly. And the food, oh my lord, I’m so happy every time I eat here because it reminds me of home. Do yourself a favor and eat here! The remoulade sauce tastes just like my Granny’s did and the fried green tomato’s hit me with nostalgia. Every single entree I’ve loved from the Shrimp, to the Mufaletta, etc. The beignets were amazing too! I just wish the bread pudding had a rum sauce instead of white chocolate 😂😂.

Cafe Rue Orleans has become our go-to Cajun & Seafood place, located in NWA right on College Rd in Fayetteville AR. The food options are plenty and easily sharable. Seafood was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Wait staff is very friendly, attentive and courteous. The young lady who waited on us was very polite and recommended items. And we are glad that we ordered those dishes. It is very small restaurant but don't let that fool you as it definitely packs a punch. We have become a regular customers now.

Best chicken tenders I’ve had in my life. Puts Popeyes to shame. Ali was the best server! And the lighting and the street view was great throughout the night

Super tasty food. It’s like a little taste of home. We got the boat, which is filled with fried oysters, crawfish, fish, crab cakes and shrimp on a bed of fries. Hubs got étouffée which was so good. And finish off with some beignets. Everything was filling and delicious.
