Affordable Funeral Alternative

After a bizarre experience with another funeral home we gave Affordable Funeral Alternative a try. We were treated with kindness and respect for the loss of our mom. They were patient and didn't rush our decision. Everything went smoothly and exactly as they explained it would. Unfortunately, our brother was killed on Christmas morning. We have no hesitation with using AFA again.

This wonderfully staffed funeral home shifted my entire experience of being left an estate without a will or life insurance. The hospital I was at where my mother passed told me "not to worry" at the time preceding her death to pick a funeral home or other means of post-death care. They then dumped on me the privilege of finding an arrangement without any help in the moments leading up to and during my moms death-- Afforable Funeral Alternatives was the first on the list, but also matched the need, as my mom, grandmother and I are poor. Andrea was extremely kind and considerate when speaking to me, even in the midst of complete chaos on my end. She never once had an ill tone or irritation to her voice, only genuine concern for answering my questions about cremation and being patient with someone who just lost their mom. The courtesy continued in the days following, contacting me directly to help answer questions about things, send me paperwork to fill out, and give me detailed pricing quotes to understand what I was paying for. When I called with a simple question that I was struggling to understand in my state, she happily helped. When I messed up information on forms I needed to fill out, her data worker Jessica called me to inform me & make sure she wasn't going to be making (and then charging me for) incorrect/invalid death certificates. The pricing is affordable relative to other places most definitely, but the warmth their professionalism carried is something I will always remember and be grateful for.

I was lied to and when I told them I would never use them again they laughed at me this has been a nightmare dealing with these people I wouldn't recommend
