Northwest Gymnastics Training Center (NGTC)

We have booked our last 2 birthday parties here and have always had a great time, my son wants to do it again this year. It’s a great place to pick because it is organized, accommodates a fair amount of kids, and it’s a structured activity that gets all their wiggles out. I enjoy it because my son has a winter birthday and there aren’t a lot of activities we can do that are active that time of year. My son says playing games and building castle forts are his favorite takeaways from being there. One of his friends even booked her party before we left for the day.

NGTC is a fine establishment to attend for kiddos looking to start gymnasatics. My daughter started in the beginner's class beginning of 2023. This was a tough time for us with the winter storms and the staff was incredibly kind. They worked with us on rescheduling our first session as the roads were unsafe for travel. Since then, they've been incredibly accommodating when things have come up.
One specific thing I remember was a time that my account got messed up in the billing and I ended up paying double. They diligently looked through my account until the found and rectified the issue. They're always there to discuss any potential problems, and they're certainly there for the kids.
After looking through some of these reviews, I can say that some of the negativity likely comes from bent feelings. Tina will certainly discuss any problems that arise with students regarding misbehavior, bullying, or putting others at risk. I for one truly appreciate her directness in keeping the environment both safe, and fair for everyone. She ensures that rules are met and holds them true for everyone. On the few occasions I've witnessed her correct children, she does so in a direct, yet kind approach (as is her right in running this establishment). She really knows how to work with children.
My daughter loves all of the staff and coaches. We've moved into classes on various days to accommodate our ever-changing schedule and she loves every coach she's come into contact with. We look forward to gymnastics every week and look forward to a time that we can attend additional classes.

We have been taking our 3yro here for 3 months now and she begs to go back before we even leave. At first she would scream and throw tantrums. The coaches and owner rallied around her and let her be in her feelings but gave the structure she needed to not interfere with other classes. This will be super helpful getting her into preschool this coming year. I love they hold the kids accountable for their actions but in a kind and positive way. I love seeing my daughter challenged and her independence and creativity grow! I enjoy chatting with the other moms and the advice passed back and forth. Will recommend this place any day for any level of experience! As for the bad reviews it appears people need to just actually read the policy and the directions on how to cancel. I've switched cards in the system and through the owner and had mix ups that she easily fixed. I also personally know other people who had no issues canceling. Thank you NGTC!

My son has been attending class here for little over a year and a half, and has loved the teachers, students and class. When we first stared here he had an adjustment period, where he almost cried every class (first time away from mom as a 2 year old). Im so glad we stuck through it because it's his favorite activity he does! With littles give your kids a grace period to get adjusted, and they will love it in the long run! We also had his 3rd birthday here and they were well organized, and all the kiddos had a blast!

My 19 month old does the toddler class and loves it! It’s consistent and fun and a perfect physical outlet for littles.

10 out of 10 recommend this gym! Tina and the staff are amazing with my kids! The environment is clean, safe and fun!

My daughter started here when she was 2 and has been here for 2 years. We now do 2 days a week and she loves it! We did her 3rd birthday party at the gym and it was a blast. Tina and her staff were so much fun. I like that kids are made to listen and held accountable.

My daughter LOVES taking classes here, I always feel she is safe and she is always having fun. I love that I get to stay and watch her. I have never had a poor interaction with any staff and my daughters coach Addie, is always so sweet and welcoming. My daughter looks forward to her weekly classes and I'm happy to have found this place for her. I see that they have several bad/low reviews and I am honestly confused, I come every single week and stay the full hour while my daughter is in class and i have never seen or heard anyone on the staff be rude to a parent or child.

I’ve been taking my little now 3 year old here for almost a year. The basic fundamentals of gymnastics are taught as well as simple tasks that every child needs to learn in daily life, like standing in line, taking turns, listening to your coaches, safety. I am a retired gymnast of 10 years and this is the place I chose to take my daughter. Great place!

Friendly staff that are great with our children. Great gym for all ages, we just love this place!

My daughter has been coming to Northwest Gymnastics Training Center for just over a year now. She absolutely loves her class and the teachers. She started in the parent child class so I would go in with her bit quickly graduated up to the class where she goes in without me and I am able to watch in the waiting area.

I know there are mixed reviews on here but we have had nothing but positive experiences and learning here.

My 2 year old goes here and she loves it all the staff are amazing and in the short time we have had her enrolled it feels like family. they teach her more than just tumbling around, since we joined my daughter has developed some really good habits and manors. I’ve seen such a big improvement we don’t have meltdowns, she says please and thank you (it’s so cute) if she’s upset she will take deep breath’s to calm her self down. She has become a much better listener.

The owner is such an awesome woman!!! My kid goes here and I have experienced nothing but kindness and professionalism. Teachers are respectful and educated. The gym is always clean and its huge. I love this place and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to start their kid off in gymnastics. But remember give respect and receive respect, don't be a karen. Its not your building, so treat everyone nice :)

This training center has been great to us. The owner Tina teaches the morning class and is so great with the kids. She knows how to get them to listen and has a great time. My 3 year old went through a phase he refused to let me go and didn’t want to go and when he was in there he disrupted classes. I wanted to pull him out but she kept working with him and now he can’t wait to go to class and does so well! Thanks Tina!

My little girl has been going to this gym since she was 2.5. She gave them a hard time at first but she has come a long way since. The coaches and the owner have worked with her and now she is so confident that she will try anything now. She always loves going to class and she has so much fun there. I recommend this place to any one that would bring there kid in.

The staff are super friendly. The other kids there are very nice as well.
We love the new location and being able to watch all the different levels.
The coaches are great with the kids. Even when the kids have a tantrum or get emotional the coaches are always so supportive and caring.

As for the “reviews” the ones mention “yelling”... I have never once heard these coaches yell with anger or negativity. The louder than conversation voices are used to account for background noise. The elevated voices are encouraging, happy, playful, fun.

Over all I’m so happy that we are part of this gym.

Tina and all other coaches here are absolutely amazing! My daughter has been attending rec classes here for two years and Tina has coached her many times over these two years. She cares deeply about the safety and well being of all the children in this facility. Even with the new move of the gym they have made sure to have it impact the kids classes as little as possible. I wouldn’t pick another place for my daughter to attend gymnastics classes I fully trust them with my daughters well being.

We love this gym!!!! We have two children who attend NGTC and they absolutely love this gym. The dedication to to the kids is unbelievable. They are a well structured, safe and organized gym that finds a balance between structured learning, discipline and fun. Their staff is very well trained in gymnastics and first aid. Last April my daughter was one of the two major injuries this gym has sustained. She tripped over her foot and fell and broke her arm, resulting in surgery. They splinted her arm like A professional and applied ice and kept her comfortable till we arrived. The ER was impressed with the care they took and their splinting skills. After reading other reviews I can only say that I am dismayed at a few of the reviews left on here especially about the open gym being unsafe. Our kids have gone to every open gym for 2 years with no issue. As a nurse and a parent I would never leave my kids in an unsafe environment. ❤❤❤❤

This place has been amazing. All the coaches so far have been very polite and caring. My daughters current coach Charlie is incredible! He pushes her just the right amount and doesn't let them give up while boosting their confidence. Both owners have been amazing and helpful. Office staff is very inviting and always smiling. We will continue going here as long as gymnastics is my daughters passion!

The owners & staff members are the absolute BEST!! My 6 year old loves gymnastics. The pricing is GREAT in comparison to other, much higher prices. My daughter has learned so much & is gaining so much confidence in herself. Highly recommend to anyone looking for gymnastics! Even the littles can join!
