Had a ten minute telehealth visit to get antidepressants and he said "well I don't think you need them but I will prescribe." 5 months later, I just received a bill for $250. For ten minutes on the phone of him reading through a checklist (any family history of mental illness, do you hear voices, interpret this idiom, etc.). He only prescribed a month's worth so I had to call him again to renew ($95 this time for ten minutes). I said I didn't feel anything yet (a quick search shows it can take 6-8 weeks to even start noticing a change), so he ADDED ANOTHER MEDICATION. I didn't actually put in the prescription for the second one and did not go back to him. As others have said, would like to rate less than 1 star. This man does not care about patients. Do not use him, even if it is convenient through your insurance telehealth scheduling...

He cancelled my telehealth appointment without letting me know why and didn't reach out to reschedule. I called to get a refill on my medication and he hung up on me.

If I could rate LOWER than 1 star I would! This provider didn’t even have the decency to cancel my appointment that he couldn’t make until 30 minutes AFTER I SIGNED IN AND WAS WAITING FOR HIM which also happened to be 30 minutes AFTER OUR SCHEDULED TIME. Furthmore, then he couldn’t tell me himself that he could not make the appointment!! And THEN he didn’t even reach out to reschedule. So entirely frustrating!

He’s not punctual, personable, patient, thorough, or factual. There is nothing positive about this guy. Veteran’s if this guy is scheduled to do your C&P Exam immediately request another provider. He doesn’t review the specifics of the claim prior to the exam nor is he interested in you providing the specifics of the claim. He rushes through the questions with no interest in your answers and then writes reports based on false information. The Veteran’s Administration should be ashamed to use a provider like this guy. He’s not even deserving of a one star rating but that’s as low as the scale will allow.

Had an appointment at 9am I was on the site ready to go paid my copay and everything for him to call 28 minutes later and tell me I was the one who made the mistake by being late and suggested I made another appointment. If I could rate him lower I would he doesn’t even deserve one star. DONT USE GERALD STEIN.

He could not remember having appointments with me. Wrote very specific comments in the doctors notes that were not true. Could not remember prescribing me medications.
