Old Wolf

I've been in the area for about 15 years and finally found a barbershop I'm happy with. You can't go wrong with any of the gentlemen in the shop, although I've been with Talon for about 3 years. Great haircuts for market price. They want it to be perfect and don't want you to leave unhappy. I highly recommend whether you want to chat it up or sit in silence during your cut.

I have been going to Old Wolf Barbershop for the past 6 months and have absolutely loved the experience. The shop is eclectic and super inviting to everyone who visits. Tallon always does an excellent job to talk through your potential cut then make your idea come to life. I am really impressed with how much he can remember of our conversations even if I do not come in for 2 months. Overall such a great place!

These folks are just great people. My barber for 15 years retired so I was on the lookout for someone new when I found this place. Needless to say, I found my new barber home. Like I said, these are just good people. My barber, Tallon, has gone the extra mile for me time and again, taking notes on my hair to ensure the best cut every time. Going to the barber for me can be therapy and Tallon has always taken time to listen to the little details in our conversations, and he remembers the little things we talk about. This is the kind of personal touch you just can’t find at most places and I think it’s really thoughtful. Not too mention that the atmosphere is amazing, the prices are more than reasonable and they make going to get a regular haircut a highlight of my day. I cannot heap enough praise on Old Wolf, so if you like good atmosphere, great service, and great people, make sure you hit them up. You won’t regret it.

Very cool vibes and atmosphere. But I didn't come here for that. I chose Old Wolf for Blaine. Blaine has been cutting my hair for 3 years and I will not use anyone else. Watching Blaine cut hair is how I imagine it felt to watch Michelangelo sculpt The David, with his pinpoint precision, obsessive attention to detail, and creative vision. Since my first cut from Blaine, I’ve considered hiring security detail to keep the women off of me. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed.

Old Wolf is the best shop in NWA! Great atmosphere and hands down the best haircut in town! Have been going for a little over a year now and Tallon is fantastic! It pays off to stick with top quality and work together to get what you are going for! He has mastered my cut and knows exactly how to give me the best cut every time! Also, tremendously down to earth and truly knows his clients! It makes the entire experience great! Worth every penny for great quality and great people! I get compliments regularly on my hair now and I tell everyone about this awesome spot in Fayetteville!

Old Wolf Barbershop exudes the most excellent vibes and have had a great experience here. I’ve never had a consistent barber or hairstyle for the majority of adulthood. But that changed when I moved to Fayetteville almost two years ago and was recommended Tallon by a friend. Since then I have received nothing but the most excellent of cuts from him and have engaged in great conversation about the most important of topics- lifting weights. After finding out he can bench and overhead press more than me, I felt obliged to more or less let him do what he wants with my hair and as a result I always leave the shop with a level of moxie that is hither to undreampt of. No ragrets. But seriously, I have the utmost trust in Tallon with my hair and recommended him to anyone looking for a new barber. I’ll definitely keep coming back as long as I live.

Talon is an elite barber, and tactical combat specialist. Awesome atmosphere very cool guys. The wolves were a surprise, but Talon Gave me a fire cut while simultaneously fending off at least a dozen of them, maybe more. 10/10.

I needed to get the oil changed in my truck, so I drove around town looking for a service center. I drove past Old Wolf and it looked pretty clean and professional. I parked and went inside. At first I was confused by the amount of seating they had in the lobby for customers to wait while they get their oil changed. Then it dawned on me that this was one of those oil change/barbershop combos you hear so much about. Basically its like a KFC/Long John Silvers combo restaurant. Anyway I was goin to go to the front desk there to schedule my service, but before I got to the desk I locked eyes with this blonde hunk with a mohawk. He was smiling and laughing, giving some dude in a white button up a trim. I was mesmerized. Let me tell you I forgot all about getting my oil changed, because my fluids were clearly not low at this moment. Since my knees were getting a bit wobbly I decided to collapse down on a nearby chair. I glanced up from the face of this angel and read the name above his station, Tallon it read. Yes, what a suitable name for a man of this pedigree. I decided at that moment I needed to get my hair trimmed by this greek god. I tried to steady myself and get an appointment online but he was booked up for the day. I was singularly fortunate that the chair I had collapsed into was made of a material that was super absorbent and it was a dark material so no one could tell that my blow hole was spuing like Old Faithful. I decided it best to make may way out front in a hurry as not to leave a slime trail like a slug behind me. Once I got out front and had a moment to clear my head, I hatched my plan. I would wait in the parking lot and ask people coming in if they were here to get a haircut from Tallon. Then when I found one of these people I could lure them over behind the dumpster and chloroform them. After which I could then check their drivers license, and assume their identity. At which point I could breeze right in through the front door and get my haircut with Tallon using my assumed identity. I could be in and out before the person woke up. Perfect. Only one problem, I had been standing out front of the shop on the concrete mulling this whole thing over for some time. I guess I didn't realize how soaking wet I had become standing there basting in my own juices. As soon as I took one step I slipped in my own pool of slime and landed right on my head. Yep knocked myself out cold. Anyway to make a long story short this is an excellent barbershop and I feel it can make even the driest person super juicy inside and out.

P.S. I also enjoy collecting stamps.

This place is great, and Frank is a hair cutting genius!
My son has curly, curly, difficult to cut hair, and had grown it out way too long. He was nervous to get it cut, not really knowing how to explain what he wanted. We easily got an appointment with Frank who was friendly and listened patiently to both me and my son (neither of us really knew what to ask for). He seemed to have read our minds - the BEST haircut!
Plus it is a great location and comfortable, friendly atmosphere!
I’m so happy we found Frank. You should go see him!

The atmosphere in the shop is awesome and inviting! My barber, Tallon, is a benevolent hair cutting deity. After I got my hair cut and beard shaped by him, life has been amazing! My wife can’t keep her hands to herself, my boss gave me his job, and the government has started paying me taxes! 10/10 would recommend to anyone with a face!

My go to barbershop in Fayetteville. Tallon does wonders every time. The whole shop is extremely welcoming and has a relaxed but professional vibe. Highly recommend, especially if you are looking for a beard trim.

Franks attention to detail was on point! Conversation and banter of the whole crew was great! Highly recommend!! Also very informative and knowledgeable of working with thinning hair. This was very important to me as I have never had a positive haircut, prior to this. This may have been my first visit but certainly won’t be my last.

Talon cuts my hair every time and he’s never done me wrong, even when I change it up. Love the overall atmosphere as well!

What a fantastic barber shop, has a great vibe inside. I recommend it to everybody. I needed a top blade for my clippers. I couldn't find one at the stores. I called them and they had a spare one and they gave it to me and saved the day! Thanks again Old Wolf Barber shop. You guys are awesome!!!!

Never had good experiences with barber shops in my home town. I tried salons, barbershops, everything to no avail.
Upon moving to Fayetteville I was a little worried about not knowing any good places to get my hair cut but took a chance with this one. For my first experience I was beyond impressed. First time I have ever had my hair cut exactly how I wanted it and the staff were beyond friendly. The atmosphere and vibe of the place is incredible and really makes you feel at home. Needless to say they have secured a recurring customer for the next few years!!
