Crown Point State Scenic Corridor

The views of the Columbia River Gorge are absolutely gorgeous from this place.. The building is amazing with such beautiful architecture and craftsmanship.. definitely recommend checking it out for yourself.

Beautiful amazing views of the Columbia River Gorge! A must detour off the interstate and take the scenic highway to beautiful viewpoints! This is the top of it all and the true crown point of a view.

Best vista views. Definitely very touristy. The architecture of the vista house was beautiful marble & stained glass. Tunnel gallery, gift shop, cafe, info booth, & circular balcony. Parking was easy & not a problem.

If you want a view. Yup. Here is the place. Architecture is pretty incredible. Bathrooms are done in marble. Gift shop, coffee shop. Somewhat crowded along the inside of this place. But overall, it's really nice to see. Check out the glass as you enter.

What is there to say bad abt a view that overlooks the river and city. NOTHING, go at sunset is my recommendation, then when all the stars pop out and the city lights glow it's just amazing. Great for photo opportunities and good for a car/bike ride upw solo or either someone special.

Beautiful view of Columbia River. It is worth to stop here. Get early as it gets busy and only a few parking spots available.

A beautiful high point place to get up and really see the river. Quick trip out just great views.

Exit 22, almost to Troutdale along the Gorge. A little curvy drive up to crown vista house. Beautiful drive along the old scenic highway. We had our dog with us. The view is lovely of the Columbia river. Really cool stop.

Stopped here on our way to Latourell and Bridal Veil Falls! The view from the top is amazing! They have nice restrooms, a gift shop, a room food of old memorabilia from when it was first built, snacks, and guides. Definitely worth checking out. We went on the first Saturday in August, so it was crowded, but worth the stop. People are in and out all day.

Crown point is now open to the public.
Lot to see at the gallery, the gifts shop also the Coffee shop is open.

The scenery was majestic, the wind blew us off our feet, and I was so glad we took the time to stop! When Covid-19 restrictions ease, we will be back to see the displays inside Vista House. Until then, Mother Nature put on a great show of strength and beauty.

What a great and awesome place. The view here is amazing. We really loved it.
You can get inside the building which has three sections: The top area where is like a balcony, you can take pictures and have an even better view of the Columbia River. The middle part which is where you enter, there are people who can explain the history of this place, they have some seatings in this area, the last is the basement where they have a mural and other pictures explaining the history and facts about the Crown Point. They also have a coffee and gift shop in the basement, lots of cute things and souvenirs.
This is a place to visit.

Really amazing views all around, an amazing drive from Portland which can be a mini getaway during the weekend. It can be pretty windy and cold in the winter but in summer it is very delightful. The Vista house in the centre of the view points is also exciting, you can go inside to the basement and get some coffee, some good espresso and also some baked goodies. A nice overall outing opportunity for people looking to get away for a quick drive during the weekend. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the Portland area. It is also exciting as it is on the border of Oregon and Washington.

Beautiful natural scenery. Top view of River, mountain, green vally etc. are fantastic.

What is there not to love about this place? No fee park and parking is available but can easily fill up. Road up on either side of the old highway is a wonderful drive with stunning views along the way. Once your up 🔝, reward awaits with fantastic scenic views 360. Just respect the place and pack it in.

This place in my opinion would be an ideal place to get some great sunset shots if your a photographer. Definitely a great place to catch some terrific views of the Columbia Gorge. It was a bit misty during our visit so no chance of getting any sunset pictures.

Beautiful. The building in itself is amazing the view is simply gorgeous. Came here years ago.... And then again recently. I had forgotten how beautiful this place was. Highly recommend you come check it out here. You definitely shant regret it.

This lookout point was a great stop to see the Columbia River. You can look around the Vista House and go up to get an even better view from the second floor.
