Paws & Claws Pet Medical Center

I move to Poulsbo last Oct. Had to bring the kiddos down here to get the trusted help. Paws and Claws are such good care givers.

We see Dr. Pollock for our three rabbits and had the absolute best visit yesterday. Her attention to the animals and to us was so thoughtful and careful. She explained everything, showed us how to examine the rabbits ourselves to check for issues, pulled out a sample rabbit skull to explain their teeth - so patient and kind! She also cleared up an eye issue that seems totally resolved now! Thank you, Dr. Pollock.

They take really good care of my Furbaby Wawnda Rose, they get her from my car and bring her back after getting her Allergy shot

I would give 500 stars if I could! My dog, Reno ;) was just in for a dental, and came in $600 less than the expected cost. Not only did we save $, the environment, and the people are AMAZING! Truly care about the pet, and the person. Our new vet 10000%. Thank you Paws and Claws!

We brought our cat without a carrier which definitely was not the best idea. He was scared and jumped and ran. Anyway the all the staff came out and helped us catch "whisker" even through the blackberry filled forest a block away. What more can I say? They did a perfect job explaining everything and checking up on whisker and even had a loaner cat box. Their prices are great and up front as well. Of course we bought a cat box on the way home. Whisker is a very mellow cat but his 1st trip in the car wasn't his favorite. Thanks to paws and claws for helping us get him back!

I cannot speak highly enough of the amazing crew at Paws and Claws. They’ve taken gentle, considerate care of my cat and 2 dogs for going on 8 years. They’ve managed emergency care and scheduled visits with ease and the few times we have needed true emergency care they’ve been so helpful trying to make sure they can see her there rather than having to go to unfamiliar 24 hr clinics. Prices are reasonable and not exorbitant. Paws down we recommend them!

Thankyou for your care today. After using their Cholorhexidine shampoo my dogs skin and fur look so much better already, the majority of her fur is detangled, and her scabs softened up and melted off. I appreciate your efficiency. I tried my best to fix her at home but it really is true just take your fur friend in. Bo had major hot spots that turned into infection but off on a road to recovery.

We have 5 cats and a dog and the staff is always the best.

I've been taking my dogs and cats to Paws and Claws for probably close to 17 years now. Dr. Pollack has been our primary vet and she is incredibly smart, thorough and practical in her treatments and advice. She is always calm and never fazed - even by my feisty kitty. In my interactions with the staff and other vets at this clinic over the years, everyone is always very professional and knowledgable about my pets. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic!

Paws and Claws vets and staff have watched over our cats since 1995. Staff and doctors have changed a bit but the outstanding competence and compassion have not. It's why we've trusted our animals with them for 28 years.

Dr Huntzinger is AWESOME! My dog absolutely adores her its nice to not have to fight with him when he needs to be seen.. The whole staff is wonderful !! Everyone there are great at what they do. Thanks to you all !!

Our two kitties saw Dr. Pollock today for yearly checkup and Rabies shots. She's a great Vet and so is Dr Huntsinger. They are wonderful with pets and so is the staff.

Just took our pup here to get neutered and they did a great job. He wasn’t in pain. The stitches can’t be seen and will dissolve. No need for a return visit unless there is a problem. Great care at reasonable prices!

I have been to a lot of vets in the past, and this is by far the best one I have ever been to. I have had three pets to take here over the past 10 years, two of which I've had to say goodbye to, and paws n claws was with me every step with real compassion and love of animals.
Every doctor and tech has been great, but Dr Pollock has really won me and my pets over. You can tell that she very truly cares about your pets and takes as much time as I've ever needed to examine or discuss my pets with me.
I don't know how much other vets are charging these days so you may be able to call around and get a cheaper price, but remember that with most things you get what you pay for, and for me, my pets are family so I would never be cheap for them.

The vets and staff at Paws & Claws have cared for my dog for the past ten years. I had tried other vets but either their hours were too limited or they were a chain that was too over-booked. Switching to Paws & Claws was the best thing for my dog's (and my) well being. Over the years the Paws & Claws vets all gave sound advice and presented me with options but never any pressure, guilt, or false hopes. Their prices weren't any higher than any other vetrinary clinic and if you consider that vets have the equivalent educational training and tuition costs as a medical doctor you can see why all vets have to charge more now a days. Dr. Pollack was the vet I worked with the most closely and she always called me in the evenings with test results and also any time my dog was facing a serious health situation. Her communication and guidance was always timely and excellent. As my dog aged Dr. Pollack helped her have a good quality of life. Suddenly this week it was time to help my dog cross the rainbow bridge. All I can say is that the staff and Dr. Pollack made time in their busy schedule and within an hour of my call my dog had the most peaceful passing I have ever witnessed. If I ever have another animal companion I'll be taking him or her to Paws & Claws because I trust them completely.

Kind, compassionate and efficient care. These folks go well beyond expectations. Our old dog had a bad last year. The staff always handled him gently. When our doggie died, they honored the dog he was by letting us know why he had been special. His vet put in long days, but when an after hours phone consult was needed she never made me feel rushed. I believe that our vet and the staff really cared for our dog.
