Oak Grove Baptist Church

Anywhere from 80-120 members attend weekly. Adults' Bible Study is 9:30 a.m., Church Service is 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Children's Bible Study is during Church Service. The singing goes for around 15 minutes then Pastor Guy Durkee says, Ages 4 and up, you can go to Bible Study now. If the month has 5 Sundays on the calendar, then right after church, there is a 5th Sunday Potluck in the Fellowship Hall inside the church building. Everyone brings a dish, some are homemade, some people bring chips from the store or 2 liter pops (church furnishes plates, cups, plastic silverware, napkins). The music is a mix of old Baptist hymns and Contemporary Christian songs. It's a nice place to belong, and make lifelong friends who will pray for you, and a pastor who visits members in the hospital and at home who have become ill (to visit and pray).

This is a wonderful church family. So happy to have found them.

Come on out. We're friendly people

This is my home church and we like coming here. To show that my opinion is not just favoritism, my rating is short a star due to the sometimes overcrowding. It's a good problem to have I guess but hopefully we can expand in the near future. We try to make everyone feel welcome here though some may decide they don't fit in (pun intended :).
