Updating my rating to reflect my unhappiness over learning that brakes weren't done before I took the car, as I was told they would be. Now I either have to cover brakes out of pocket even though I *just* got this car, or make a 4-hour roundtrip back to Auto Factory for them to 'look' at it.

Until this point, I'd been happy with the experience, but the brake thing left a bad taste in my mouth. I do like the car, though. Looks nice, runs well, priced right.

I just started looking at getting a newer car and found a 2012 Nissan Rogue at Auto Factory Trucks and pulled my husband along to go see it. We get there, park, and before we go see a sales person we find the car, look it over, take pictures, and just talk about what we are seeing on the car. We enter the building and talk to a gentleman who was very nice. We told him we wanted to test drive the 2012 Nissan Rogue and he automatically said we should get a credit application going just in case we really like the car. I have never done a credit application for a car and was hesitate to do it but eventually cave and did it - BUT NOT BEFORE ASKING IF IT WAS A HARD INQUIRY OR A SOFT INQUIRY. The gentleman said they only did soft checks - I can deal with that. So it took an hour or longer to get the credit application done (we arrived an hour before closing) and they didn't seem pushy to get home and were very friendly. We eventually found out after we test drove the car we were approved and said we'd think about it. That was on 09/01/18. Today (09/03/18) I find out I had 2 HARD INQUIRIES pulled against me.

I read forums when I found out and everyone says never to sign finance forms until you're ready and have a deal set with yourself and dealer. Most places apparently pull hard inquiries because soft pulls are generally credit offers, etc. This was my bad and learned my lesson but I won't be going back to Auto Factory Automotive because of the dishonesty when discussing finances.
