Slim Chickens

I ordered the Memphis-style BBQ sandwich, and was very good! The flavor combinations of BBQ and cole slaw was tangy and crunchy, and the chicken was lean, high quality, all-white meat.

The drive thru was fast, and the price for the sandwich, at around $6, was a good value for the money.

This location is deserving of being the OG Slim Chicken's! The manager is top-notch and is quick to address any concerns. Drive-thru speed is good, and in the event that they leave out any sauce, they are quick to rectify their mistake. I go here about twice a week! In my opinion, they bust the orders out better than the Wedington location when they get swamped.

Have you tried the dry rub wings?? If not what are you waiting for?? Yes the chicken tenders are great but the lemon pepper and Nashville hot dry rub ribs are absolutely amazing! Also Don’t forget your brownie!

I can't eat fried food but they have the best grilled chicken tenders and potato salad. Delicious

Best chicken you can find in Fayetteville. They really try to impress and improve the way they do things. I would mention names if I thought it would raise the praise bar but it won't just go try some tenders here.

Nothing like the original location- everything here just tastes like it has a little more love! Our go to is always a Slim's plate and a Slim's salad. Can't go wrong with either. Reasonably priced, fast, and tasty, what else do you need??

Friendly staff. Fast service. Clean. Fairly priced chicken establishment but not cheap. I do pick up frequently and it’s always hot and ready to go when I arrive

Never eaten here until recently, when I had the best chicken sandwich I had ever had. I am a huge fan of chicken sandwiches but this was the S tier of S tiers, absolute perfection. Totally delicious in every bite. As a business I prefer Chick-fil-a, but in all honest, the chicken sandwich here is much much better.

Slim’s is the best chicken spot by a mile. Every product they have knocks it out of the park. I’m a big fan and go a lot. Sandwich is amazing. Wings are second only to dedicated places like wingstop. Tenders are MILES better than Canes.

Slim’s is the overall best chicken spot in NWA, Arkansas, and the country. I’d go on the news and say that.

Great portions for the price. The Carolina gold sauce is fantastic - sweet and tangy. The strawberry cheesecake jar is SO. DAMN. GOOD.

I had the privilege to stop by the original Slim Chickens restaurant today. My cousin’s son highly recommended them to me. I found the staff to be very professional, polite, and attentive. They have a wide variety of sauces to toss your chicken fingers or wings in. I wanted them to not be tossed so I could taste the chicken finger myself before adding sauce. The breading was very flavorful. It’s not dry. It is unusual for a restaurant to serve chicken fingers with a moist interior.

The chicken sandwich with cayenne ranch was great. All the flavors complimented themselves. It is a family friendly atmosphere. This restaurant is definitely worth your time if you’re in town.

Updated: They seem to have taken all these reviews to heart and stepped up their game!

The food is always good and usually everyone is friendly but they rarely include the sauce I order. This last time they gave me a salad with no dressing instead of the potato salad I ordered (and double confirmed when ordering). So a dry salad to eat with my dry tenders. Bummer. Even bigger bummer to read reviews of other locations with the same issue. Done with Slim’s for a while. Hopefully they can get a better system in place.

EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT!! It was hot and fresh and tasted SO good! And it was delivery, they packaged everything with care! Sauce cups in separate plastic bag, extra piece of toast in separate box, napkins, utensils, and a flyer! I will order from this College Ave Slim Chicken’s again! They made a believer out of me with this order and in all Fairness to them I will give credit where credit is due!! Thank you College Ave Slim Chicken’s!!

Great food and staff is nice especially Mason he’s a hard worker and made sure my order was straightened out, one of the best fast food service workers I’ve seen in the past 10 years god bless!!

Although I haven't been here in a while (almost a year), the food quality is still there. I usually get the 3 & 3 or one of the wraps. Food item prices have increased a bit since my last visit but that seems fair due to the rising minimum wage rates. They also have a lot of choices for sauces so the chicken is never tastes boring. All they need now is a tap area and you could turn it into a sports bar but otherwise it's a great place to bring the family. The fries are abundant and you will most likely not finish them until they get cold and mushy.

Made an app order, to only realize that I had a double order. Tried to cancel, and was prompted to call the location. Did as asked, to only get a confused worker, then passed along to a more confused manager. None the less, got charged for something I didn't want a duplicate order of. So if your using the app, make sure and take the time to verify everything is correct. I will give this location credit, as I was told they are swamped. Just wish it had gone a bit better. The issue was resolved by management a few days later.

I eat lunch here fairly often, and I always have great service (dine in or drive thru).
