My husband and I used Topsfield Bakeshop this last April for treats for our rehearsal lunch and then our wedding cake and I cannot recommend them enough!! Fiona was an absolute dream to work with. She easily accommodated all of our requests. The flavors they have to choose from are AMAZING and so elevated compared to other places, especially for wedding cakes! The cake was delicious, we got nothing but incredible feedback from all our guests that they loved the cake flavors (we did margarita and the vienna torte). Seriously don't hesitate to order with Topsfield for all of your cake and bakery needs!!

My husband and I used Topsfield Bakeshop to design our wedding cake. Everyone there was so kind and communicated all parts of the process with us. They listened to our suggestions and our cake looked exactly like the inspiration picture we showed them. On the day of the wedding they delivered our cake & pastries to the venue, as well as set everything up beautifully. Also, most importantly everything was absolutely delicious! Our guests kept asking us where we got our cake because it was so good! We highly recommend Topsfield Bakeshop for any of your events. We will be using them again!

I called from NH after looking for over an hour for a last minute cupcake delivery for a VERY sick family member coming home from the hospital. Topsfeild Bake shop went above and beyond to help and deliver. Once they were delivered my family group text went on for hours as to how delicious and delighted they were with the delivery process. The photo they sent me was beyond what I expected especially for last minute. I can’t wait to stop in and buy some goodies next time I am in town!

The Bakeshop was absolutely fabulous to work with! Coordinating with Fiona and her team was super straightforward and low stress, and we were blown away by how lovely the cake turned out. They were even able to include our pup statuette! The tasting box was a great touch - lots of fun to pick out flavors. We’re so happy that they were able to take our chaotic ideas and distill them down into a gorgeous piece for our wedding. Definitely recommend stopping in as well (as we did a few times!) for tasty treats ✨

Absolutely loved our wedding cake! They did exactly what I wanted and Fiona was so great to work with. She and the pastry chef made it all come together for us, considering we were in need of this cake in just a short two weeks during the busiest season of the year. Not only was the cake beautiful, it was delicious! Everyone loved it.

Got my first cake from here for Thanksgiving dinner and will definitely be coming back. FINALLY, I have found a bakery that doesn't make their products--especially their icing--cloyingly, disgustingly, tooth-achingly sweet. The chocolate ganache torte was wonderful, with generous layers of chocolate mousse between the cake layers. And, once again, I hugely appreciate that the cake and mousse ACTUALLY tasted of dark chocolate, with enough bitterness and depth of flavor to make it enjoyable.

Also, just... look at that decoration! That ombre! It's got to be one of the prettiest cakes I've ever seen in real life, and I didn't even request any special decoration (just told them to "make it look like Thanksgiving," figuring they'd simply write "Happy Thanksgiving" on top). It was an absolute show-stopper at Thanksgiving dinner, and I'll probably be ordering again for Christmas.

This shop has such a great atmosphere and gorgeous treats! I was so thankful to have my first woopie pie since discovering my gluten sensitivity. Thanks to Topsfield Bakeshop for excellent customer service, tasty goodies and a great place to meet up with friends!

The breakfast options are delightful, delicious and various, from hot breakfast sandwiches, to delicious cinnamon twists, mini crumb cakes and scones. Their coffee is delicious. The service was quick and friendly.

Topsfield bake shop made beautiful and delicious cupcakes for my sister in laws bridal shower. I sent a picture for inspiration and they did an incredible job creating exactly what we envisioned. They are also so nice to work with! :)

Thank you, Fiona, for creating my Bride’s Cape Cod wedding cake vision. She knew exactly what she wanted, and you delivered not only a delicious 4-tier cake with layers of Strawberry and Lemon Raspberry Torte but even prettier than her inspiration photo. The groom’s monogram was my favorite - Ganache Torte was out of this world! We held our wedding this weekend at the Elks at Bass Rocks in Gloucester, MA. Topsfield Bake Shop provided our cutting cake and cupcake tree. They were great to work with and the cupcakes and cake were delicious. Delivery was right on time and everything was just as expected. I would highly recommend them!

I ordered sugar cookies and frosting for a cookie decorating event, everything came out fantastic I couldn’t have been happier! The team hand cut custom shaped cookies, they are certainly very talented at Topsfield Bake shop. The cookies also tasted amazing.

We’ve been dedicated the Bakeshop since 2014 when they created our gorgeous & delicious wedding cake. I love that they’re family owned and operated. Chris & Mary are creative, friendly & sweet. They have made all of our confections with love. My family & friends continuously rave about how beautiful & delicious their sweets are. I couldn’t be any happier with all the orders I’ve received from them including the unbelievable 3 tier Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs cake to the 5 pastel pink & turquoise drip cakes they created for my daughter’s first birthday. We will be clients for life!!

We initially went with Topsfield Bakeshop because we were getting married at Willowdale Estate. The proximity of the bakeshop to the venue, made it an easy choice. The cake tasting was delicious. Over 10 slices of the cakes they have, bring your sweet tooth. We went with their strawberry cake and they created it beautifully. We wanted just piping on the side and our florist was going to have fresh flowers to decorate. Needless to say, the cake was gone. Easy choice for anyone wanting a great cake for their big day.

Let me start by saying I never liked whoopie pies. The combo of chocolate cake with vanilla icing? No thanks. So know that I was going in with low expectations to start haha. Ladies and gents, I’ve done a 180. The WHOOPIE PIES my god they are incredible. Funfetti, red velvet, oatmeal… it’s hard to choose a favorite when they are all a 10/10. I have to actively stop myself from stopping in more than once weekly for a treat. The place is very cute inside as well, and I’ve never had anything but very kind service. Try the molasses cookies too. They are incredible

How has wonderful bake shop not been reviewed already?! Love their gluten free deserts, particularly the whoopie pies and macaroons. Family members have used them for cakes and we often use their deserts for thank you gifts.

Thank you Topsfield Bakeshop for the baby shower cake, cupcakes, cookies and on time delivery for our event yesterday!! Everyone raved about how cute (and Instagramable!) everything was, then they tasted everything and were even happier!! Your bakeshop is amazing!

I've been a fan for awhile....always nice people when I stop in here. This week I stopped to grab some sweets but saw some Italian Wedding Soup and brought it home - LOVED it! And of course my fav 2 whoopie pies came with me too - the chocolate salted caramel and the cannoli whoopie - I'm addicted to those. Had a dozen whoopie pies delivered from the whoopie wagon website recently too - my family raves about them. I gotta stop eating them....lol...omg they're SO good - and that's from someone that never really cared much about whoopie pies. :) People here are so sweet...and everything seems so fresh and homemade.
