Back East Mediterranean Grill

The food is so yummy! As someone who is gluten and dairy free, it's great to know I have this place to go for Mediterranean food. The owners are so kind and actually took butter out of the rice because of dairy allergies! Highly recommend.

I usually take my food to go, so I can't comment much on atmosphere other than it's clean and spacious.

Immediately impressed my first time here. Excellent customer service & staff here. The food here is simply phenomenal. I've been to nearly 40 different countries & this place by far has some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever tasted. The chicken kebab dishes are my favorite - so yummy! I brought my lovely lady here to try the food here. She normally isn't a fan of Mediterranean food, but absolutely loved the Chicken Kebab plate. She ordered the plate with fries. I love everything here & go here often for lunch & occasionally dinner; you won't regret it here!!!

First time there, and really enjoyed it. The service was friendly. Staff was very responsive to my dietary restrictions, and recommended some choices based on my gluten allergy. The grape leaves were very tasty, and the chicken kebab had nice flavoring. The chicken Shawarma was also delicious.

Always yummy. A little on the pricey side, but if you want good Middle Eastern food, I guess you have to pay dine-in money for it. The prices for a Falafel wrap have nearly doubled, in the four years, since they have been open. Still giving them 5 stars, because they have a great fatoush salad, locally, without having to drive to Boston.

First time trying tonight and we loved it! Ordered the falafel plate, chicken kabob wrap, tzatziki, and tahini. Food was ready when we went to pick up and it was delicious. Definitely recommend everything but especially the falafel- it was so good which can be hard to come by around here! Will be back again!

Spectacular Chicken Shawarma, could not have enjoyed that any better. Perfectly cooked and combined! Coworker had the Falafel Wrap, to which she said "I would recommend it any fay if the week, I quite enjoyed it".

Oh man what can I not say about this place. The staff is extremely friendly and the food quality is amazing. This is true Mediterranean and not Greek. Please keep in mind if you're looking for your tzatziki sauce it's not going to really be put onto these plates. 10 out of 10 would come to this location again. Support the local business and help him thrive.

HIGHLY recommend the beef kebab, so good!! Very friendly place, great service and awesome to support local business! Will definitely be coming back frequently and bringing my friends.

I have tried several things and not been disappointed. Chicken shwarma, babaganoush, hummus, gyros were all tasty with freshly made flavors. Even the French fries had great potato flavor. Service is friendly. Though there is space and tables, the counter service and atmosphere in the room says to take it home. That doesn't turn me off because the food is excellent.

Lots of care and pride goes into the cooking here. Babaganoosh is cooked in the traditional way with a great smokey flavor. Chicken shawarma tasty and tender with delicious sauce. Lots of choices of sides. I'll be back!

Fabulous food— very fresh & authentic!

Delicious!!! Very fresh, workers are friendly, place is clean, turnaround is good and prices are very reasonable. This is a gem of Beverly and I look forward to becoming a regular.

My girlfriend and I genuinely drive 35 minutes to come here. The beef kabob plate is perfection. I get hummus and French fries. Everything is fresh, cooked beautifully, and you can tell the owner cares. 15/10. We love this place!!!

These guys are the real deal! Amazing babaganush and hummus. Super shawarma, so good and freshly grilled, beautifully seasoned.

First time going and we got the falafel and chicken kabob plates. Outrageously delicious! The falafel is the best we’ve had and the chicken is super charred and moist. Garlic sauce is tasty and the hummus was just as delicious. Even the rice had great flavor! We’ll definitely go back multiple times.

10/10, best middle eastern food available anywhere around Boston. I know my middle eastern food, and this is just fantastic. They really don't get one detail wrong. Chicken, rice, babaganoush, hummus, pickles, sauces- it's all perfect. Will be getting food from here often. I love the very reasonable prices and unpretentious presentation. Just perfect!

This place is incredibly delicious! I cannot speak to their beef or chicken (I'm vegetarian), but their falafel is the best I've had on the North Shore. And the tahini sauce made it even better! The fries were amazing! Crispy, salty, and well prepared.

First time here today, 9.15.2020. Immediately impressed. Place is very clean. The service during my lunch hour was courteous, fast, and my ordered chicken shwarma was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AND DELICIOUS - definitely hit the spot, guys! I found another favorite place in Beverly to go & make it a point to eat to please my tummy and crave for Mediterranean food!!! Thank you guys!!!!
