Michael's Discount Furniture

I had an overall great experience at Michael’s. Both Slavo and Van were super helpful. I ended up buying a brand new Ashley furniture 2 piece sectional for less than the showroom price. Van made some calls and was able to get it delivered to me the next day also. The process was quick and stress free (in and out in less than a hour). I definitely recommend anyone looking for quality furniture to shop here!

I had bought two sofas from them. The sofas had issues. The salesperson wasn't communicating with me. Long story short I was quite upset. My initial review was horrible and based on the situation I had at the time I feel was warranted. Management however contacted me and rather than try to push off the lack of communication they acknowledged it and made things right. They seemed sincerely accountable which isn't something you find everywhere. Mistakes happen everywhere however. Will update if there's an issue further. But given the number of good reviews I will chalk it up to an isolated incident of poor communication and a lemon couch (everyone has lemons unfortunately). And I would recommend. Their prices are good and the initial service was good. As was the service once it was brought to the right people.

I am actually shocked by the negative reviews on here. Obviously you're financing so credit and interest would be involved on some level?? We did the Acceptance Now and they didn't run our credit for it. Also the Manager was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He made sure we didn't have any questions or concerns and were totally comfortable with the payments before signing anything. The sales associate discounted our living room set and dining room set even more then the initial price which was awesome! We can't wait to get our new furniture! I will say though the customer service at the discount building was WAY better than the building next door.

The level of Customer Service at this furniture store is AMAZING!!!! Slavo was our sales person, and he answered all of our Q's and was VERY helpful! Unfortunately the bedroom set we had chosen ended up being barely too large for our space 😭 so as much as we loved it we had to return it. The staff went above and beyond to make the process seamless! Bob, Mike, and especially Khathy were wonderful in processing the return and helping us to find a bedroom set with the correct dimensions! We're so glad we went to this place!!! 😅

I love coming here. They always have an amazing variety for amazing prices. Will definitely come back

Had a great experience at Micheal’s discount furniture! Marc really took away the stress in the shopping experience and took me straight to the perfect sectional. Couldn’t be happier with the swift service. He was awesome to work with and helped me narrow down my option down to two couches in less than 5 minutes. Came during a Holliday weekend so I got a great price and managed to get quick delivery. Will be coming back for sure.

Salesperson was fine, not pushy at all but I purchased a loveseat and sofa from a furniture store not a box store and they wanted to charge a $80 delivery fee for 2 boxes. The cushion are all smashed and wrinkled. Told to wait 48 hours for a miracle. Not happy at all. Guess lesson learn “Discount” is not for me.

Updates: we have been treated very well. Van has gone up and beyond customer service to make our purchase right. When you are treated great and make the best out of a bad experience. I will definitely shop at Michael’s again .

Honestly, the employees and their inventory is great! I had an issue with an order and I called and we talked and they actually far exceeded what I thought what going to happen. I expected them to tell me there was nothing they could do but this was not the case! Not only did they do what I had hoped they were super willing and always calm. It's clear that the customers matter to the employees working here.

I kept apologizing profusely as in the end it was my fault for my misunderstandings and Michael kept telling me everything is fine. I have no problems recommending this establishment to all my friends for their furniture needs.

Awesome customer service and helpful staff. We got beautiful name brand couches at half the price another local competitor wanted to charge . Very nice experience and a pleasure to do business with. Delivery was hassle free and everything was set up for us. Didn’t have to move a thing ! Will definitely be back !

We have been to Michael's Fine Furniture last year to purchase a bedroom set. We where pleasantly greeted by a sales man by the name of Peter. Peter was very helpful and was not "pushy" as other salesmen we had dealt with in the past at other furniture stores. We where recently there 6/16/12 to purchase our living room set. We found what we loved after looking at the wide variety of styles they had. Peter again helped us and took very good care of us helping with the delivery and wonderful customer service. We will definitely be back. We highly recommend this Gresham store.

Shop local! Global supply chain issues meant we couldn’t find a couch anywhere in Portland for same-day purchase. IKEA was basically sold out! Van at Michael’s was an incredible help in finding us in-stock sofa that we could take home with us to our unfurnished house. Very grateful we came here! Prices are also extremely reasonable.

Paul helped us out our first visit and we left unsure of what we wanted. But after checking out a couple other furniture stores, we knew we needed to come back. Customer service was great! They had a great selection of furniture with multiple options of colors. Anytime we need furniture in the future we will definitely come here first!

First time buying furniture and it was painless. We were able to get financing for 1200 living room set with only $29 down. 90 days same as cash, which means if we pay off in 90 days we don't pay any interest. Would definitely recommend.

Paul helped us find what my daughter was looking for and even brought down the price. She is very happy for her new dresser! Very pleased and he was not pushy. Will be going back!

Slavo was amazing. He greeted us right when we walked in and asked us what we needed. When we couldn't find what we were looking for on the floor, he helped us find a ottoman we liked online. He helped us get a great deal on the ottoman and the futon. He was laid back and didn't push the sale. Very helpful and friendly.

I've shopped Michael's before and always had good service. Slavo was very knowledgeable about the furniture we were interested in and was helpful in troubleshooting our unique needs. I would happily come shop here again!

Salvo is a very nice and respectful salesman! He left me and my boyfriend time to look around. Once we were done he helped us with a faster delivery date! Really nice guy! Definitely will be back!

Very happy with my experience. This is my second positive experience with Michaels Furniture. We ordered the Trinell king panel bed but when it arrived the headboard was broken in two separate places. The box showed no damage which means Ashley furniture boxed up a broken headboard at no fault of Michaels. I notified the store immediately and spoke with the manager who was kind enough to allow us to pick a different product they had in stock so we would not have to wait another two weeks for s replacement bed we no longer wanted after seeing the quality of the piece first hand. We even purchased two more pieces and the manager offered to deliver free for the inconvenience. I will definitely come back. Thank you manager Quan (spelling?) for making a stressful incident pleasant.

I had a very good experience here. A young man named Van assisted me and did a wonderful job explaining to me what my options were. I highly recommend to individuals looking for great quality + great prices.
