Peacock Chinese Restaurant

Great Chinese food. Under new ownership and the new owners are very nice. My favorite dish is the crab rangoons.

I went yesterday with my brother and his wife, we are orignally from massachusetts but now live in ct and the chinese food in ct is very different, we love boston style Chinese, I had gone to Peacock 5 yrs ago when the other owner had it and it was good, but I could not get back there until yesterday. Well it was sold 2 months ago to a couple that are very welcoming and the food was wonderful, no complaints from us for the meal and the owners really make you feel appreciated. Try this restaurant and enjoy it as much as we did..We will return. Thank you We and Me..

I dinne in the service was amazing the food awesome and very delicious I do say the staff very politely attend us I was with my husband we both highly recommend it

Nice new decor. It is beautiful inside. Great server. I don’t know if it was the soup I had but I was sick for 5 days with a stomach bug. But who knows if it was something else I ate.

Golden Peacock is nice and bright due to remodeling .
Food was nice and fresh.

Is a very good atmosphere very polite service the food is amazing and the best of is that is not pricy at all I dinner in with my husband and we highly recommend it

The food here is amazing. My first time here in a while. Everything I had tasted fresh. The new owners were much better than the previous owners . I would give the food a 6/5 if I could, but overall nice lady up in front and food was great. Will definitely come back here.

Love their Hawaiian Wedding. It last us at least 2 meals each. It has everything my husband and I love in it. Only thing we add is pork fried rice

Boy was I pleasantly surprised to be so wrong! Their pan fried dumplings alone are worth the visit. They're about 1/2 the size of my fist and delicious to boot! Also, their house rice is loaded with goodies like pork, chicken, egg, and more. I really enjoyed my visit and will be going back for sure!

Food was delicious. Atmosphere was outdated and dark. But it was clean and the waitress was attentive and polite.

I was one of their first customers way back when...the food was awesome at that time now, not so much. The rice sucks, what did they do to it????? And yes, it sometimes taste like old nasty oil.

Best take-out Asian restaurant on the east side of Springfield. Service is fast, food is delicious and they always give you way more than you can possibly eat. We find the dining area to less positive, so that's why we recommend the takeout option.

My husband loves their Chinese food. If I mention getting take out he always wants Peacock! The portions are a great size for the price and the food is always ready for pick up. He has been going for many years and has spent many nights with his friend here getting dinner. He love their duck sauce, egg rolls and general Ching's chicken. It's his family tradition to go here for New Years. It is definitely a landmark in our family.

Peacock has the best Chinese food around. Unfortunately, they do not deliver. My family had a tradition of ordering from here on New Years Eve for several years as I was growing up, through high school. We weren't the only ones! The lunch & dinner specials are HUGE! If you eat in, you most likely will go home with left overs! I love the warm fresh chips they serve as your waiting. Egg rolls are big and amazing!

After going to Wong Wok for YEARS we decided to go to Peacock one day, and we've never left. Their food is hot and delicious, and their service is phenomenal. The place is a little dated but the atmosphere is good and you won't care once you're eating. If I could give more stars i would.

Excellent old style Chinese restaurant you used to be able to find. Great for splitting a couple of plates three or four ways. More of a comfort food place than healthy/nutritious place. Gets a lot of takeout orders, but has good table service.

This is our favorite local place for Chinese. We usually get our food to go, but this time decided to dine in. Our food, as always, was hot and delish! The atmosphere is adequate, no updates in probably decades. Our waiter was attentive, food arrived promptly.

We drive from Stafford, CT to get our food here. Love the rice - they don't use the yellow rice that a lit of places have moved to, portion sizes are large and the food is excellent.

Surprised to see such low reviews. This place i've been going for many years. the chicken and rice soup is SO AMAZING. Always VERY good when i went.
