Stop & Shop

This review is for my 84 year old Mother. She was just telling me how nice the check out crew is at the Franklin Stop & Shop. From the tellers to the baggers, today Carmella and Griffin got her checked out. She especially likes Jonathan on the early morning crew. Thanks so much!

This stop and shop is always clean well lit and organized. They are always stocked and Io never have a difficult time finding what I need. 2 other stores are closer to me but I choose this location.

My friends and I went through self-checkout and were confused as to how to void out products. The workers quickly came to our assistance and even offered to put our items back even though they closed in 10 minutes. I then, sadly, forgot my debit card and a teen girl tried as many options as possible so I would be able to pay by entering my whole debit card number. I was unable to do this, but she again offered to put back each of my items with 5 minutes remaining in her shift. The workers were so sweet and accommodating. Very pleasant experience, will return soon with my debit card this time!

P.S. The dog food section was very extensive and full of options for all types of dogs, as well as the bread section. Equality, am I right?

Unfortunately the Fun Dip section was scarce and non existent, but life goes on!

I used the pick-up service at this store for the first time this week. I was pleasantly surprised to find that placing an order was incredibly easy. I was also delighted to find that everyone I talked to at the store about placing an order was very courteous and helpful. They were very patient with every single one of my questions. They brought out my order very quickly, and I was very grateful not to have to walk around that big store with an injured foot. Many thanks to all of the kind people there!

Stop and Shop has a great store in Franklin. Clean. Well managed. Well stocked. They seem to have everything. Their prices seem to be a bit more reasonable than a few years ago.
The check out clerk at self check out was very helpful.

Always clean and personable employees. Very helpful always looking to help you find the thing that you're looking for. . Whenever you have an item is on a free thing. They always have it. You never have to go without or get a rain check. I appreciate this as I shop for a living and really don't have the time to keep going in and out of stores. It truly is a choice to go to a store that really cares about its customers.

This store is great. It has great produce and a lot of variety. The staff is friendly and helpful. My favorite thing about this place was the pharmacy. The pharmacist was very personable and kind. There were pharmacies in walking distance, but it was worth the travel for the great service.

Pricey, but the selection of both regular food items & precooked meals are SO worth it! Cheaper to make your own steak meals from stuff here than pay for one at Lowry's the Prime Rib.

(Unless you can't cook. I can't help you there. But in their no-prep items, you CAN cut back the time & get crazy-good instructions on finishing up...😁)

Love this store, have been going there since it first opened. Management must be doing a good job, employee retention is high. My BIG problem is with corporate. First they get rid of cashiers by putting in self check out then make it worse by using self scanners now they have those stupid bad carousel that have the cashiers bagging as well as ringing and it makes it difficult when you bring your own bags. This eliminates those baggers, some of them were there for years .

I wrote a review commenting on couple of issues I had recently encountered. I was surprised and indeed impressed how quickly the management responded to my concerns! Of course, I will come back to your store again, and above all, I very much appreciated your attention and the quick reply - thank you!

Stop and Shop in Franklin is always easy to get in and out. I can always find what I'm looking for and a great selection to choose from. I feel like they are more affordable than Shaw's or Big Y most of the time and their store brand line tastes really good, too! They just did a little revamp of the checkout area too which has helped the lines a lot!

Jill in the floral department was AMAZING, went above and beyond! She was attentive, professional and extremely patient! She did an amazing job on a floral arrangement beyond my expectations!

Shout out to Hayley (I know I get sure spelled it wrong I’m sorry) who worked check out number 9, around 215 pm on July 10. I was in her line and was approached by another customer whom made me feel uncomfortable and when I got to my turn she apologized for the situation and explained she was trying to scan quickly to move the person in front of me along so that could get out. She was very discrete and efficient about the entire situation. I can’t thank her enough for how she handled that. I’d like to think the company could reward her for her outstanding abilities as a customer service check out worker. And I have worked for this company before and she’s worth more then the 5$ GC to stop and shop that they hand out. Thank you again Hayley (sorry about the spelling) for making me feel safe in a moment that made my stomach go in knots.

Good customer service, but lately the shelves haven't been really stocked and are missing a ton of the normal items I buy.

Franklin S&S is the best one around with large produce and natural sections and friendly staff. The gas points program really helps cut costs for fueling up the truck. We do our weekly shopping here.
