In a quest to tap into my childhood, pile driving bowls of Cap'n Crunch, I sought a breakfast spot that boasts a crusted French toast that will send me soaring back to the 90s. Well, move over Mario, it's time for Luigi's to take center stage.

Luigi's is a no-frills North Shore diner that excels in greasy spoon comfort breakfast and lunch options with big portions. As mentioned, my personal favorite breakfast option is the perfectly griddled Cap'n Crunch French toast - a delightful crunch on the crust which remains moist and approachable, otherwise. Paired with butter, powdered sugar, and syrup, it may spike your blood sugar, but it's well worth it. For "healthier" fare, the feedback on the veggie omelet was fluffy, fresh, and tasty. The potato sides (both hash browns and home fries) were well-seasoned and plentiful. Coffee is what you'd expect.

Amidst the slightly chaotic table setups, find solace at the expansive granite bar top, boasting a dozen or so stools for a cozy dining experience. We stopped here for breakfast. Easy to get to and has both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s clean with plenty of seating. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. Food was really good.

Been here 3 times and it's been great every time. Ordered East Coast omelet for takeout this time. Excellent food - still hot. Overall, great food, big menu, generous portions, reasonable prices, friendly attentive staff, and quick service. That's pretty much what I'm looking for in a neighborhood diner. Luigi's checks all the boxes.

Visited from New York. Food was absolutely delicious, the service was great, everyone was so friendly. We are definitely going back next time we visit. Very satisfied.

Excellent Reuben sandwich. Friendly staff. 1st. time there. Definitely will stop by again soon. Fast forward 9 months later on July 7th 2020.This is absolutely, positively the BEST place for food In South Peabody. Very nice and sweet waitresses. Always smiling. And whatever you decide to eat you won't be disappointed. Definitely WON'T be disappointed.

Plenty of parking , great Staff, great food. Always fresh, always hot, great coffee , fresh juice. Prices are on point with awesome portions.

Went to Salem in October and you can't even come close to finding anywhere to eat. This place is not even 10 min out from the main attractions of Salem. It wasn't super busy at all. The service was amazing. The food was out of this world. And the environment was clean and very taken care of. Will be back for sure!

I like this place. It's home style, like a diner but bigger. The staff is super friendly. Dine in or out. It's a good place to go for a quick lunch.

My husband and I took our granddaughter in for breakfast. The food was great. But the best thing was when my granddaughter went behind the counter to help the wait staff. She said that she's going to work there just like her mom did. They didn't tell her she couldn't be behind there. All the staff came out to greet her. It's an experience that she won't forget.
