Hi-Shine Nails

I’ve been a customer at Hi Shine Nails for almost 10 years, and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. The salon is always clean, and the staff is great! Van is wonderful to work with and always does a beautiful job on my nails! Very pleasant staff - always a great experience!

Van was wonderful!! She made sure to check in with me several times about the length and shape of my nails and wanted to make sure I was happy with them every step of the way. She explained the process for gel full set nails, including the maintenance. I really appreciated how informative she was and her attention to detail. I’ll be back!

I have been to a lot of nail salons but Van and her husband are truly among the best. I have used a picture to show two different nails just after leaving the salon and one from three weeks after it was done. After three weeks I had no lifting, no chips and they were still shiny. Van and her husband often tag team the nails and they are both so gentle. They are kind and provide a high quality nail. I definitely recommend using them.

I’ve been going to hi shine since right after they opened, I would not go anywhere else. They are so professional, clean and thorough at the work that they do! Couldn’t recommend them more!

Van consistently delivers fabulous nails that last! Regular gel and gel overlay are my favorite. She helps me pick fun styles! (I usually need help to make a decision!) I’ve never had a bad manicure. Here’s some of the great designs she’s done for me!

I have been going to Van for years. She and her staff do an exceptional job. I would recommend them to anyone. One of the biggest differences I notice between them and nail salons I’ve gone to in my past is that they care about the health of your nails. They will not do something that will compromise your nails even if it’s what you wish or a current trend. My only suggestion if you are planning to go to hi-shine is to make an appointment. They are a very busy salon.

I have been going here for over 4 years now and will not go anywhere else because I am so happy every time with how my manicures and pedicures come out. The owner goes above and beyond for me to make sure I am satisfied with how my nails and toes come out. All of the staff is so friendly and accommodating. I’ve had every one of the ladies who do the pedicures and everyone of them took their time and have always done an excellent job. One of the things that impressed me immediately when I first started coming here was the cleanliness of the salon. They always have new polish colors to choose from that last!

I’ve been going to Van for at least 5 or 6 years now! She is so great and efficient at what she does and always goes above and beyond to make sure I’m happy with my nails and is always very accommodating if my schedule changes! I have yet to have a better experience at another salon!

My nails have never looked nicer. And what a nice shop. It’s not conveniently located, from my house, but I’ll have to learn to coordinate errands in that area with future appointments.

A customer since they first opened. Van and Tuan work hard to please their customers. Currently doing gel polish and love Van's attention to detail. Gel deluxe pedi is so good too (thanks Sunny!). Suggest booking off-prime, during the week, if you can. Make an appointment!

I absolutely LOVE hi-shine. Van and her team are AMAZING! I’m always in and out within an hour, my nails are always fabulous and I never over pay.

Regardless of any of the below comments I’m a firm believer that this is by far the best shop in Holyoke.

Have been getting gel nails for over 10 years , Van is always very consistent, her nails are always shaped well, never too thick and are durable and let me tell you I’m rough on my nails! I always recommend hi shine

I had an amazing experience, the staff are all very pleasant. They are following all COVID protocols to ensure the safety of their customers. My manicure and pedicure came out perfect. They provided suggestions on nail color when I was not sure what color to go with. I like that the location is cozy, clean, and by appointment. I would definitely recommend and will return.

VERY GREAT !!! Gained a regular customer they really do the most for their clients. The main nail tech was very vibrant and talkative she always checked to see if her work was up to taste not to mention how clean and beautiful the salon itself was!!! Highly recommended!!

I am a chronic nail biter and have a full set of gels. Other places have shamed me and make me feel terrible when I have "accidents" and come in with my nails jacked up. That was then. Since I have started going to Hi-Shine, I am never made to feel embarrassed about my nails and fingers, in fact no attention is drawn to them at all. I never feel like I am being made fun of and I always feel happy and comfortable when I am there. I will never go anywhere else! They provide excellent service from choosing your color to trying their hardest to accommodate walk-ins. They are a well oiled and highly organized business and they have one of the most loyal followings I have ever seen! They are busy, so make an appointment if you are not a flexible person! It's just that simple!

This is the best salon that I have ever been to!! Everyone was friendly, communicative, and careful to ensure that I was happy with my nails every step of the way. Van especially was very welcoming and kind, and she did an a awesome job on my set. My sister got an ombré set which looked especially beautiful. This is the only nail salon I’ll ever go to!

My first time going to Hi-shine nails was last week. They were amazing! They follow COVID protocols, your temperature is checked and there is no crowds like other salons in the area.(appointment needed) I felt very safe here. Van took really good care of me and I lovee my gel manicure. This will officially become my go-to for now on.
