Great park for kids to play. Nice wide open space in a city. Clean, well maintained and, usually patrolled by our boys in blue. Safe place to have a picnic or play ball with the youngsters.

A trip down Memory Lane ... It is nice to still the park being kept up and utilized. My memories go back to the early 1960's as I started playing soccer and continued into my high school years. It was the park where many young kids developed their skills to become field some of the best teams in Western Mass and the state.
Over the years I shared the field with players such as Tommy Coburn, Joey Lynch, Gary Ratelle, and so many others. Whenever I travel back to Massachusetts I drive by the park and relive some of those many wonderful memories.

One of Chicopee's finest parks. Playground for the children, basketball court, hockey rink / rollerblading rink, soccer field etc...
It's well maintained by the city, and most importantly it's safe day / night. I've been enjoying this park since the early 70's considering the park is my backyard.
Park is dog friendly as long as you clean up
after your dog.

always well maintained and clean. Very rare to see trash lying around, the once or twice there was litter around, it was because it was windy and there was a disrespectful family there. For the most part the people who frequent the park are respectful and friendly.

Beautiful setting. Huge venue. Gay Pride was going on. The only problem was that the food trucks were not mixed in with the booths. They were off to the side and lined up in a row. They were too close together that the people standing in lines were shoulder to shoulder. I ended up not even bothering with it and got food elsewhere off venue.

Park was named after my Great Great Uncle Ike. Owned a store in Chicopee back in the depression. Helped a lot of families that didn't have much or any food! Was told he was a good man, helped a lot of people & did a lot of good for the town of Chicopee. I barely remember him but Very proud to know I had an uncle as kind as he was! Very nice park!

Been going to Ike Albert "Brooks Field" since I was 5 it's a great park they have soccer field basketball court and year round hockey rink. Used to go there for arts and crafts. They would take us bowling back in the 70,s it was the best thing around all parks in chicopee had these summer program,s I would love to see them come back.

It's a small park but they have stuff for everyone to do. It has a big field, swings, toddler jungle gym, older kids jungle gym, hockey, ice skating in the winter, books for trading and borrowing, bathrooms

My daughter loves this park! Wish they had sprinklers too, but other than that, it really is a good park.
