Wu's Open Kitchen

I wanted to have my 61st B-day dinner here on a Tuesday night (1/30/24), when they were not busy, and we were seated without delay. We have frequented Wu's Open Kitchen at several locations since 2005, and we have not been disappointed since. Even throughout the pandemic trials. This has been our go-to place for Chinese food. More so than any other Chinese restaurants. I strongly recommend them. They have catered to our special dietary needs; gluten-free and Keto. They are now located near the Safeway on 99 in the King City area.

The food here was unusually great! Some of the staff were lacking in smiles and personality, but they were mostly efficient. I was impressed with how clean the mirrors and chandeliers are. I had to laugh about the side-by-side dual toilet paper rolls in the Men's room, one over and one under (shout out to The Good Doctor).

They have a cool kitchen with a window you can see in to see all the action and cooking happening by the chefs.
Large portions also.
We want to go back and try more dishes.

So good! My boyfriend went to school with the nephew of the owner. Their food is delicious and fresh. The customer service is the best and they pack up your food for you like a professional. Chinese food has gone up in price but I try to support local businesses over corporation. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone especially family with little kids. You have to order their coconut shrimp

Delicious and authentic chinese food- would strongly recommend. We tried the chicken and shrimp in hunan sauce, shrimp in garlic sauce and lo mein. Each lunch entree comes with rice and soup cup so we got the hot and sour soup. The human sauce and garlic sauce were absolutely delicious, very flavorful and true to their spice level. The portion size was great and everything was very reasonably priced. Service was quick. Will definitely be back here!

I love dining in at Wu's. The food is hot and delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their food. The seating is comfortable, and the acoustics are good for casual dinner conversation.

I usually like the cashew chicken and spare ribs. The food has always been served hot and delicious.

Takeout is equally delicious. The food is packaged well and easy to serve. I have found both dining experiences enjoyable and look forward to the next one!

I generally don't give out 5 star reviews to restaurants, but this did deserve it. We ordered General Tso's Chicken, Pan fried Potstickers(6), and a small egg flower soup The food is delicious. It might not be the most authentic Chinese tasting food, but it has that Indo-chinese flavor which is something I cant get enough of. The serving size is pretty decent. I would highly suggest you get the soup, it mellows down your taste buds after they have been blasted with a ton of flavor. This entire order was around 40$ which is great considering we also had 2 really strong and tasty cocktails.

My family has been coming here for decades. The owners know us, our names, our orders, and every single time the food is perfect. All throughout my life ill have other chinese food and always think, “It’s good, but its no Wu’s” and that is a common saying among friends and family who know how delicious and special this restaurant is. I love introducing new people to this place because their reaction is always the same; “I’ve never had chinese food that tastes like this”. I’m not sure what magic they use, but it’s special. If you are in the area and are looking for a chinese restaurant to try, look no further.

Wu's Open Kitchen has the yummiest Chinese food I've ever eaten. The first time I stayed with my friends in Tualatin we went to dinner here. Every time I come back to visit I ask that we go to Wu's Open Kitchen. It's a must eat locale for me each time I'm in the area.The service is fantastic, the food is wonderful, the servings are large and the prices are great! My go to order includes the crab puffs appetizer and the orange beef. We always have leftovers and the server always boxes them up for us. You can also watch the excitement in the kitchen through the window that divides the kitchen and dining room. This place does not disappoint!

We go here all the time since they have so many gluten free options. The staff are really nice and funny. The food is cozy and delicious. Highly recommend!

Great place!!!!!! Really fast service, it feels like the food comes in 5 minutes! You can see the kitchen and there are Really cool (on purpose) fires on the stoves. Looks like a really cool Chinese restaurant!!! Rate it 100/10!

Wu's has as good or better food than PF Changs! The atmosphere sucks other than the windows looking into the kitchen, and the staff aren't really friendly, but we keep coming back for the food!

Delicious tasting food. We had Sesame Beef, Mongolian Beef, Pot Stickers, Pork Noodles and Shrimp. Everything was tasty and the service was great. Delicious drinks too!

Had a to go order here last night for the first time and it was so good, best Chinese I’ve ever had honestly. Food was ready 20 minutes after calling in. We had the pork fried rice, potstickers, sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken. It was all so good. This will definitely be our new spot for Chinese!

I LOVE WU’S OPEN KITCHEN!!! I EAT WU’S OPEN KITCHEN FOR BREAKFAST LUNCH AND DINNER. THE ONLY THING I EAT IS WU’S OPEN KITCHEN. THE ONLY FOUR FOOD GROUPS ARE BARBECUE PORK, GENERAL TSO’S CHICKEN, SESAME BEEF, AND KUNG PAO SHRIMP! THERE IS NO PLACE ON EARTH LIKE WU’S OPEN KITCHEN NOBODY DOES IT LIKE WU’S OPEN KITCHEN LIFE IS NOT FULFILLED UNTIL ONE HAS EATIN AT WU’S OPEN KITCHEN!!! My daughter called me other day for the first time in eight years… DECLINE! Sorry honey im dining at WU’S OPEN KITCHEN!! I left my wife for WU I live in the alley way behind the building and occasionally eat in the dumpster for an extra snack! All my friends and extended family cut contact with me because of what they call an “unhealthy obsession” NEVER MIND THEM WU’S OPEN KITCHEN IS MY LIFE NOW. I LIVE BY THE MENU! I WILL DIE FROM AN UNHEALTHY SODIUM INTAKE IF IT MEANS I GET TO BE WITH WU’S OPEN KITCHEN FOR MY LAST FEW BREATHS.. TRY WU’S OPEN KITCHEN RIGHT NOW PLEASE GO HERE NOW AND ORDER EVERYTHING ON THE MENU!! I LOVE WU’S OPEN KITCHEN!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I took a picture of mustard, shut up it was perfectly spiced; should be able to sing again tomorrow no problem. Pina colada was glorious, I'm sure the alcoholic one is too. Crab puffs were kind of bland but this is the first sweet and sour chicken in Years that didn't make me feel like I was going to end up in a sugar coma. It was wonderful. Makes me think the more authentic looking things will be tasty.

Update: Take out only now. Very sweet, offered a plate and on the upside virgin Pina colada to go now, plus that view on pick up is worth it.

The only place that I've been reliably getting gluten-free Chinese food that's delicious! Staff is friendly and are very mindful of my gluten allergy. I've eaten here for the last 5 years and never had an issue.

Older vibes with authentic and delicious food. Not usually a Chinese food guy but I would come back here given the chance.
