Ocean State Job Lot

I have only taken a single trip up to this point however they had a well organized store with helpful employees and prices cutting below that of bigger names such as the adjacent Lowes or Walmart less than a mile away. The return policy is fairly standard but that's not a bad thing and I will be frequenting this store in the future and will update my rating if I see any need to.

I've always loved Ocean State Job lot. I went there the other day to get some plant pots to replant my plants to grow bigger. Of course I see the big glazed ones and you expect that they're very expensive but there was a 30% off sale and I made out like a bandit and then I go to Lowe's to get potting soil and found three plants in one pot for really cheap. So thank you Ocean State Job lot you should see my plants and my house

Is it really "adventure shopping"?
I think so, but that's just me. I always stop in on Thursdays, so that if there's something that I try, then I can buy more of it later in the week. Energy drinks! Who wants to pay convenience store prices? Chocolate! Always something on sale! Socks! High quality brands like Thor-lo and Wigwam.

Great store! Prices are better than most places if not all places. Staff was friendly and helpful. We don't have a store like this in Texas. Thanks y'all

There is one cashier here who I will always go to. She is so sweet and so kind and she calls me to her line every time. I wish I had her name.

I originally gave a bad review of this store, so I'm reversing my initial review from 1 start to 5 stars. I went there with my husband this weekend and we found a lot of stuff we wanted, along with a few things we weren't expecting to get. The cashier was very nice. My only criticism is there weren't a lot of people on the floor to ask for help. Otherwise, top notch!

I listed a wonderful review, but my comments were deleted. Ouch. Maybe I shouldn't have raved about the full shelves and friendly cashier? I'm the one that said "Don't tell anyone". (they'll go buy up everything!) Obviously facetiously because I did post it!

I love this new location. The store is significantly larger, allowing them to have more of a selection and larger items. I went in to get 3 items, and easily walked out with 10. The store was clean. Masks in spfld are required, And there were no issues with that policy. The lines were short, and the items I went for were in stock.

Store is packed with a huge array of items. From seasonal to food the stock varies weekly. And the prices are decent. Store it kept up and there were plenty of people, to help as well as check you out a d get you on your way.

Update 2/21/22 : I've been here a few times in the past month and it seems pretty good here, well organized and clean, prices aren't to bad and they don't seem as pushy about having a membership card which was a pet peeves of mine. All in all it was a good shopping experience. (Lots of good deals on many different items. This new bigger location should really improve things a lot. If better, then I'll give 5 stars.

It had everything that I needed to start off in my new apartment

I love the variety of products, they are very well priced and the quality of everything is more than you would think for the price. My go to for laundry, cleaning, personal hygiene, and stationary products.
They also carry the best cat litter on the planet.

Good prices and for the most part store fairly well stocked. A few shortages here and there but overall a good selection of merchandise. More than adequate parking. Store is clean and well lit.

Very nice store. clean, bright and well stocked. I always enjoy stopping here when I'm in Springfield.

Great team that's working there. The cashiers are friendly and the people stocking the shelves know how keep the aisles clear!

I will always shop at this store. a wide range of items usually in stock and pricing is reasonable. In addition, customer service is excellent.. thumbs up to manager and staff

Best store if you looking for something and don't care about the brand
