Arc Blue Electric

We hired Arc Blue Electric to do a complete rewire job on our house. The house (built in the late 30’s) had knob and tube wiring throughout. Travis and his team replaced all of the knob and tube, upgraded our electrical panel, installed new outlets, light switches, dimmers, moved our washer/dryer, installed exhaust fans in the bathroom, and brought everything up to code. We felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Travis explained everything along the way and answered all of our questions. When the inspectors came to review the house they specifically mentioned how easy their job would be since Arc Blue was highly reputable, commending us on our choice of contractor. We are so happy we hired Arc Blue and feel safe knowing the work was done properly. If we need anything in the future, we will definitely be calling Arc Blue no matter how big or small the job. Highly recommended.

I hired Arc Blue to install a new meter base and panel and to fix some splices. The prices were reasonable and the work tidy. Travis was accommodating, providing a range of possible solutions and clearly explaining the benefits and risks associated with each. Scheduling was a little bit of a trick, but that seems pretty normal for smaller companies.

William was the technician who helped me out and he is incredible. Super nice and personable. Not your average electrician who is there just to make money and get out. He genuinely wanted to help and did an excellent job; went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you William for restoring my faith in humanity. Arc Blue is a great company to utilize for all of your electrical needs. We have used them to install new light fixtures, fix old light fixtures and install electrical panels and new production equipment. Travis is very reliable and will be there when you need him. Travis returns quotes in a timely matter and is most times the lowest bidder.

Arc Blue Electric helped us research energy saving strategies for our Oasis Community Garden. They installed all new LED bulbs in our light fixtures, and new photocell sensors, saving us hundreds of dollars in electricity bills! They were very professional and knowledgable!

I've hired Travis on several major projects: he replaced the entire main electrical panel in 100-year old rental home that I own, and he installed and a wired 20 LED lights in a very tight ceiling space. Both projects went really well, and I will definitely be using Travis on my future projects.

Very surprised to read the previous review.... Nothing further from the truth -- Received a bid from Travis for heat tape ... accepted the bid --he couldn't fit me in for 4 weeks..His delay, not mine.. At the end of those four weeks it had snowed. The day before the install he called and raised the bid 50% Said take it or leave it. It is what it is. He is very rude -- very unprofessional Very arrogant! Two of my neighbors said the exact same thing. I would never use Arc Blue because of him. Would never ever recommend him. Would highly discourage anyone from using Travis!!! Wasatch Heat tape was amazing. Will bend of backwards to please the customer.

I made an appointment with them to come out to my home, which I made sure I stayed home from work, and they didn't show up. Their reasoning was I did not "confirm" my appointment by answering my cell phone the day before. I was unable to call them back due to my busy work schedule and they were closed by the time I could.

I have talked to many electricians in Ogden and none of them have cancelled our appointments without our knowledge.
