Lori A . Favata is the best law attorney I have ever worked with.and Kelly Kaprielian is the best paralegal . From our first meeting, she explained everything to me in terms I could easily understand and was always very responsive when I had questions outside of our meetings. I highly recommend and will work with this law office again. Thanks, team!

I was diagnosed with a stage 2 brain tumor in April of 2022, endured surgery, hospital stays, radiation treatments and more than a year of intensive Chemotherapy, that left me unable to work. I was referred to Lori and her awesome assistant Kelly, and had a long conversation with Attorney Lori Favata at that time. They helped coach me through the SSDI application process even prior to representation! The application process is long and can be confusing, especially when you are sick on Chemo.

Flood and Favata helped advise me whenever I needed it, or had many questions. Lori was very upfront about the fact that I did not need their services yet, to apply and await a response.

I finally applied in February of 2023 when my FMLA ran out and the back commissions from my firm ran out. I never received a call or letter, from SSDI that I had been denied. but was subjected to and had to travel to their psychologist to be tested and for review, whos sole purpose seemed to be to deny me benefits. SSDI NEVER even spoke to my medical Drs, or my Radiation team or my Neuro-Oncology Team at Dana Farber. How could this be? I had to go to the Social Security office in Framingham, where I was informed in May that I'd already been denied and should have received a letter. Id been checking my mailbox daily, no such letter arrived and you have a limited window to file and appeal (of course).

When I found out they had reached a determination without ever contacting my medical team, Lori agreed to take my case on contingency and file an appeal - she had heard enough by that time of how I had been treated. It took nearly 6 months more for SSDI to formally recognize that I even had legal representation. I received one call from an SSDI office (garbled) just prior to 7am on a Thursday, when I was in a Chemo sleep. When you try to return calls, the voicemail is nearly always full and messages if you can leave one, go unreturned.

Kelly and Lori regularly followed up on my treatments, struggles and deficiencies and were an incredible comfort to me before during and after my treatments ended. They had directed communication with every aspect of my medical staff to help. Lori was an amazing, calming voice for me when I could never reach anyone at SSDI, and they made countless calls on my behalf. Finally, one year after I had originally applied, I was approved and granted benefits with back pay! I was close to running out of savings!

Running out of money for medical bills, draining savings, trying to put food on the table for my children as a single parent, is a scary reality to face on treatment, or off, after paying into the system over a lifetime of employment deductions. This government agency is either so overwhelmed, poorly run, or underfunded, the process can be cruel, arduous, upsetting, clunky at best and often makes people go 3 or more rounds at 6-8-12 months at a time for some unlucky and unrepresented folks.

It was invaluable to me to have Lori Favata, and Kelly on my side. Without them, I have no doubt that I'd still be fighting with unanswered messages, denials, more forms, more visits to "their" Drs and totally lost or completely broke.

I cannot thank the Law Offices of Flood and Favata, Lori and Kelly, enough for the incredible treatment, listening, caring and effective results! If you are lost and are legitimately stuck in the SSDI log jam, and you likely will be, I encourage you to call them. I know without any doubt, that you will be every bit as happy and forever thankful as I am that you had help navigating what has become and nearly impossible entity to manage on your own.

As a client for two different cases, Attorney Favata has been thorough and kept me feeling that she was on top of things. I was able to do what was requested of me, send it back and then not worry about it. Worker's Compensation and SS Disability claims can be over whelming and I tend to worry a lot. One conversation with Attorney Favata and I was able to let go of any anxiety I had.
Attorney Favata's work has always been timely and she has settled one of my cases with a very satisfying result. She worked my case constantly until resolved.
The staff is very professional and both Kelly and Attorney Favata are prompt to respond and always maintain a high level of professionalism.
Attorney Favata is very capable, kind, respectful and has a great sense of humor. It is without any hesitation that I recommend Attorney Favata and look forward to working through my second case with her.

I recently worked with Attorney Favata on my workman's compensation case. From the first moment of contact Attorney Favata gave me the professional advice and guidance I need to see my way forward in an unsettling time. She and her team never dropped the ball; never needed to be reminded of follow up or deadlines. Priceless Professional Honest They are the best!

Attorney Favata was a Godsend through a very difficult time. She is a caring human being, very patiently explained the legal details of my case, and assisted me in settling a workers compensation case with a positive outcome. I recommend her highly.

Been working with Chris for years and have always had a great experience and more importantly, successful experiences. He is extremely sharp, organized, detail oriented, and keeps a well balanced mindset always focused on solutions. We've done several real estate transactions together and recently he also helped our family establish an LLC.
