Industrial Cafe & Saloon

Great spot to grab a lunch in NW Portland. Covered in shade from the building, the outdoor seating is nice for people watching and catching up with some friends.

They serve breakfast all day; which sounded, looked, and smelled amazing. But I opted for something a little different, and went for the spicy mayo bacon burger. And it was exceptionally good. It had spicy mayo, lettuce, tomato, burger, FRIED jalapenos (which were relatively tame, for those sensitive), crispy bacon, pepper jack cheese - all in a toasted bun.

It came with the option of jalapeno slaw, salad, or french fries. I went with french fries. They were good, salted to perfection - but they weren't as crispy as I was hoping.

My colleagues got breakfast. One had two eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast, and the other got a breakfast burrito. Both were happy with their meals.

I'll likely be back!

Nice little spot with a fun atmosphere. I had the breakfast burrito that was good (not great) and really enjoyed the house hot sauce (mild and sweet, carrot-based, I think). Fresh squeezed orange and grapefruit juice made the mimosas stand out and super nice service (especially for Portland) really made the meal.

Okay, let's get down to the nitty gritty. I was in Portland for three days. We ate here two days in a row. Yes, I know there are other places to eat in the city, but we couldn't stay away. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. We also ordered almost everything on the menu just so we could try it all. Probably some of the best wings I've ever had, the most amazing chipped beef and just the coolest ambiance. In fact, I need to get back to Portland just to eat here again. Loveeeeeeeeeee this place.

I accidentally spilled a little gravy from the chipped beef on my shirt and got to smell it the rest of the day. Next time it won't be an accident.

Everything here is always great. Breakfast is awesome. I daydream about the corned beef hash and the biscuits are on par with my wife's homemade. Lunchtime burgers are delicious, but right now I'm stuck on the spicy grilled chicken salad. (The deep fried jalapeno slices bring the dish together.) All that plus the fast and friendly service makes Industrial Cafe my favorite neighborhood spot. If only they served dinner...

I've had the hash specialty and also the beef with cream sauce and rosemary tomatoes....wow, seriously some amazing flavors. Hash is super moist and delicious and the cream sauce for the beef dish was a perfect combo with the sourdough bread. I'm usually not a fan of cafes but this place is really redeeming my views. The marionberry mimosa is so sweet and crisp!

Good breakfast and service at a reasonable price is hard to find in Portland. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this venue, which is a bit out of the way but totally worth it. They have all day breakfast, which is great because I have a hard time making it for breakfast before noon on the weekends.

Great breakfast burrito, and homemade hash. Warm industrial feel with utensils that could be from our military.

Excellent food, stellar service....this particular restaurant sold me on Northwest Portland. I think it was some of the best food we ate during our trip and their mimosas with Prosecco were some of the most interesting I've had, we especially liked the Marionberry one. Their special for the day was an egg salad sandwich, which sounds super basic, right? Wrong! That thing was so good, and seasoned just perfectly!

I really don't think you can go wrong with anything you order here and the restaurant itself has just the cutest neighborhood vibe. Most of the customers in there were regulars who knew all the waitresses by name, and in general, it seemed to pull an older, less hip crowd, which I liked.

It was a great stop on our way to Forest Park for a hike and made me wish our Airbnb had been in NW Portland!! If that doesn't convince you to check this place out, I don't know what will!

I'm not one to get overly emotional when it comes to food, but considering I ate the best burger of my life here today I couldn't not give this place 5 stars! Plain cheeseburger with minimal fuss; topped with nothing but simple ingredients let the meat do all the talking 👍 I'm only disappointed that it took this long in my life to find a burger so good!

Its a nice lottle café that surprises you with the quality of their food. I had the small spinach salad and it was huge compared to what other restaurants comsider small. They did not skimp on the bacon, blue cheese or candied walnuts. A nice place to sit down, have good quality food.

Stayed open for me even though I arrived at closing time. I had the pulled pork sandwich, it was very tasty! The coconut cream pie was fab! Would definitely go back again.

Such a good tuna melt here! They are dog friendly on the patio and have a great menu selection. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but the staff check in with you frequently.

Almost every weekend I run Forest Park with friends. The Industrial Cafe is our go to spot. Friendly service and great breakfast menu. I order their Rosemary Red Potatoes every time. The industrial design theme of the restaurant makes it visually interesting because of their creative use of materials.

Super cool NW PDX restaurant with great brunch offerings. I had hazelnut pancakes--super yum! It usually packed so prepare to wait a few minutes for a table, it's worth it!

We live right down the road and finally got to go there for brunch for the first time today. We LOVE it ! Definitely going back and will be regulars there ! SO good! ❤

Loved this little place. Reasonably priced. Healthy options, burgers, 100% grass-fed beef, salads. Outdoor seating, dogs allowed -- what more can you ask for?

I used to visit there every Sunday. The chipped beef on toast is amazing. Gears and gravy are also pretty good. Love it!

Had the Hash plate and was simply outstanding! The best I've ever had and I am traveling from Florida .....service was great as well very kind people.

The burger was great and the bum was fantastic. Pancakes wre crazy fluffy and need no syrup. Wonderful.
