Campground is very friendly and clean. Owner Michelle takes time out from running the office to do arts and crafts with the children every Saturday rain or shine. The Pines Campground is family runned and makes you feel like you are part of the family too.

This is a small country campground. The staff are extremely helpful and will even help back you in. The sites were large, and we had a little block behind us, which was very relaxing to listen to. For the most part everything was quiet. This is a very basic campground with a little bit of quirkiness. The pool was nice and clean and the folks who work there go all out to make you feel comfortable. Do not come here expecting a fancy campground. This is old school country camping at a nice price 👍 we loved it! We wish we could’ve stayed the whole week, but unfortunately we already paid for another place that wasn’t as nice as The Pines

It's been about 20 years since I've stayed there, but am hoping to finally get back there this summer for a week, or so, but about 20 yrs ago I stayed there for 5-6 months. We had a trailer, and had the site at the top of the stairs by the office, just a short walk to the pool. I stayed there with my husband at the time, and our 3 yr old daughter, & 5 yr old son. The kids absolutely loved it there, and routinely had events specifically for kids. My staying there ended up bein a major factor in the course of my life. After the months of staying there we ended up buying a Campground of our own in Warren NH, and we ran it the same way Paul runs the Pines. We learned so much from watching him. Paul, his lovely family, Their campground, changed the course of my life, an even though i have since sold my campground, I am forever grateful to Paul, and his family, and for my stay at the pines.

This is definitely off the beaten bath and rugged. This is no KOA, so don't go here if that's what you're looking for. Behind our site was a beautiful stream/river with small falls. We loved it! People were friendly too!

I just had the pleasure of my first stay at The Pines this past weekend and I already booked my next long weekend! I walked up to check in and was greeted by the chillest dog I’ve ever seen and a gang of kids that were absolute sweethearts. The owners were all absolutely amazing and super helpful with anything we needed and any questions we had (including showing me our campsite twice because I couldn’t believe we had the amount of space that we did). Make sure when you come you get to hear a bit of Paul’s stand up comedy because he’s a riot and possibly the best tour guide I’ve ever had for anything. He’ll show you everything from his radio collection to the old school high chair he actually used with his kids and it was amazing.

10/10 would recommend this campground if you want to feel like part of the squad when you take a walk around this small but adorable spot.

Truly a blessing to find this Campground! The staff each and every one of them are incredibly kind, understanding and accommodating. The views from this site are truly beautiful! With a very well maintained property. Location for 'myself' has been somewhat challenging, but, again that's for myself. I work an hour and 19m away... However, I gladly make the commute as I truly love it here ♡ I strongly urge, if your considering staying here, do! You won't regret it. Prices are fairly reasonable, you have full hook-ups with many amenities (when in season) laundry facility on site, clean bathrooms and also a shower if you so choose to not use your own, or are tenting vs RV'ing. Oh and can't forget the beautiful brook that runs along the backside of a row of campers that you can hear which just adds to the beauty and tranquility of The Pines. Thank you kindly, Pines for providing such a beautiful place for us lucky enough to stay!

A good campsite. The staff was friendly courteous, knowledgeable of the site and area in general , And Very helpful always. Especially “ Duggy” you can’t miss this dude he’s usually the tallest living entity on the horizon! With a quick smile and a booming voice , you’ll hear him even when you don’t actually se him! “Take it SLOW “ …. ( there’s a 5mph speed limit inside the camp)

I was pleasantly greeted at the office by Doug, who also came down to check on us after we settled in and told the kids a few good, kid-friendly jokes. The playground was impressive as was the rigging of electrical for the lights in the shower and bath areas. Great little quiet place.

My husband and I stayed here with our then 1 & 3 year old children. It was their first camping trip. They loved exploring in the creek that runs along the side of the campsites. We opted to skip the very nice pool and rec room they had to play in the natural pool in the creek. So calm and peaceful we spent the whole day in the creek. The campground on the whole was quite clean and the friendliness of everyone we encountered was wonderful. The kids loved playing with nets in the frog pond (that was a suggestion from the owner, we are so glad we did that with them) and my husband and I love the old wood, steel and tire playground (just like we played on as kids) and bathroom facilities were very well done. All in all for our first family camping trip it was better then we hoped for.

I've already camped here a few times and have had a great experience every time. I prefer trunk camping and at the end of their road there is a group of tent sites. The campground is family run and owned, which is noticed with the friendly and welcoming interactions. A few with electricity and water for a few dollars more. I've picked one of the sites with electricity and never used it just for the layout of the site. I travel with a large battery bank and a foldout 20 watt solar panel. There is an outhouse and running water next to all the sites within walking distance. Showers are coin operated for 4 quarters (hot/cold). When the stall door is shut a switch will turn the light on. There is a small playground and pool but it's a very small community. Every time I spend a weekend, I never want to leave on the checkout day. It's so quiet and peaceful. Be careful if you drive a lowered car, you will bottom out in some of the far back sites. There are more RV sites and they operate all year around.

Photos are taken from all the times I've visited.

If you like rustic and quite, this is your place and very kid and pet friendly! Everyone was super friendly and helpful, the site we were on was spacious with a great size fire. Everything was clean and showers were hot, and that a plus when your camping.

We will definitely be back!

Been coming here for 13 years now. Been a seasonal for going on 6.i love it here! Everyone is like family. Of course there's drama at times, but what family doesn't have drama from time to time. We all help each other & keep an eye on each others kids. The owners couldn't be more laid back & easy to talk to. What campground do you know of where the owner will come right up to your site & personally ask how everything is & sit awhile talking with you?

We stayed here for an extended time while working a medical contract in the area. It’s a really nice family campground with beautiful scenery and really nice owners. I would highly recommend staying here

I love this place, and have been a seasonal camper for a couple of years now. I can go there and let my boys run and play and I know they are safe. There is a rec hall for kids that is separate from the adult rec hall, a pool, a beautiful babbling brook that is attached to a pond. Staff are friendly and helpful, and treat us like family. They also have a large playground and are pet friendly. I plan on being there for a long time!

Love this campground one of my favorites they have winter hookups and the sites a big and private. We lucked out being right next to the playground. Stayed here in January of 2021 and would stay again if we were in the area. We also had a pretty difficult site to back into but everyone was extremely helpful with getting us in and out.

Great place run by a great family. We stopped in April 19 2017. It's a beautiful campground with enormous trees and interesting antiques hanging on the exterior walls and fences. If you're interested in nature, a low key relaxing atmosphere and antiques this is the place for you. We got a nice level full hook up campsite for our motorhome right on a little river with a stone fire pit and picnic table. I'll be back again soon.
