Willard Brook State Forest

Willard State Brook has a beautiful waterfall. It has a few picnic tables that work great if you want to stop by with your family and cool off. My family enjoys putting their things on the picnic table. Then they go into the water to cool off. I bring drinks and sandwiches or cook on the grill if it's open. They have some trails to take a hike. It's a beautiful place to visit.

Fun little trip for my wife. The weather was bad but the falls was not even .25 miles. Great for kids and non hikers lol. Great view :)

Nice little jaunt little muddy when I went in the end of October. Pretty falls along the way. Walmart

willard Brook Trail is a quick 2 miles if all your looking for is to race to the end and back. But if you looking for photo possibilities this is the place. I took so many photos.

Do wear traction to hike if you plan on visiting. The ice along the trail is very slick and stretches almost the entire path. Also the parking area is closed but there is another parking area right outside the gate and it's a 1min walk to the trailhead.

Was a nice visit kind of relaxing next to water fall let this kidd run around and burn energy. I have to say we will be making another trip up next day with nice weather.

Great State Park, close by. Lots of trails to hike, swimming lake, picnic areas. Nice park to just get away from everything and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.

Been going here for years the water is really clean but very cold. Good for a hot day. I miss the ledges you use to be able to jump off of.

Stopped there and found a beautiful spot to set up our hammock right next to a pedestrian covered bridge crossng a quaint brook.

Super fantastic place to Wander and play

Went here with my partner. The river was nice to wade through and crisp as I drank from it. The first surroundings are beautiful to look at. Hope to go up to the top where the source is one day.

We had a great time at this quiet little campground. The Kurds lived the programs with Tash!

Love this forest! Beautiful and fun trails to walk; always see something new everytime.

I do a lot of hiking and I felt very safe in this beautiful area. The trail is along the brook, there are also other trails within the state forest that do not go along the water. I've always enjoyed trails that border water, especially running water. We did have our dogs in the water, but there was a sign at the front gates of the parking area stating that the water was not safe enough for people to swim in. When I first pulled up in my truck, I thought there may be a fee for parking but there was not. The area is very well kept and rangers monitor the gates.

I was so impressed with the beauty of this place, the pond and setting are idyllic with a pair of blue herons and family of ducks. The staff are so friendly and helpful, one of the ladies recommended a hike up Watatic Mountain when I told her I was looking for something to do. It was a perfect recommendation and I got a lot of great photos. The place is meticulously maintained and the bathrooms are spotless. I enjoyed camping, had site #9, spacious and a bit removed from the others. Highly recommended and the neighboring towns and country roads are very scenic and attractive.

Beautiful place to visit. Be careful the cars go flying by on that road! People please don't throw your masks and trash on the ground! Respect. Find a trash barrel or put it in a plastic bag and get rid of it at home like most clean people do who appreciate and teach respect the earth.

This is one of the greatest places to be. I am 62 years old and have been coming here since I was 5. My family came after work during the week and always came on weekends, until parents had pool installed. We still came because it was a great place that wasn't far from Rindge Rd. and we cooked out and had FUN. I bring my grandson now and he always loves it. We walk up the Falls and he looks for salamanders. Great memories that I will pass on as long as possible.

My kids and I loved it. Even with the lake partially emptied and dredged they had hours of fun. The woman working was so nice and amazing with my 6 year old daughter when she got a minor injury
