JSR Onward Automotive

I was very fortunate to have crossed paths with Jeremy at JSR Automotive LLC (formerly Sherwood Meineke) several months back. I was trying to get a 1978 AMC Gremlin road ready to run in the Gambler 500, and I had encountered numerous issues I could not sort out on my own. Jeremy was very friendly, easy to work with, and gave me a great deal on the work he and his crew performed. They truly went above and beyond!

The quality of the work was top notch, and the custom side exhaust they built sounds awesome and gets complimented all the time. We just had the Gambler this past weekend, and the Gremlin made it all the way out and back (500+ miles)! This would not have been possible were it not for Jeremy and his team’s assistance. I now have an appointment to take the wife’s car in to have the brakes done. If you are in need of an auto repair, you owe it to yourself to try JSR- you will not be disappointed!

Great workmanship, communication and cost. I recently purchased a FJ62. I needed 2 new catalytic converters to get through emmsions. The work was done at a reasonable cost. It was a few hundred dollars less than other bids, plus some extra work was needed on the exhaust.

These guys welded on a muffler for me. I was able to pick it up within a couple of hours of dropping it off.

I ended up spending around $100 lots of cleanup required.

Welds aren’t perfect but it’s a very difficult place to weld. Very little room, that’s why I took it to a shop instead of doing it myself.

Hands down best mechanics and people in Sherwood! I started going to this establishment when it was still Meineke, and when Jeremy and Randy turned it into JSR Automotive I chose to stay, even after I moved out of town and live a bit further away now. Not only have they honestly and quickly fixed my cars over the years, I've also bought used cars from them! I also bring used cars to them I am considering buying and they have saved me from buying a few lemons! They are awesome and I hope I never move too far from their shop because finding an honest mechanic is not easy in a big metro city!

I have taken my 4runner to this shop, and pretty much had a full rebuild on my motor and transmission. This shop was formerly a meineke. The best customer service you can ever have. Jeremy knows it all. He will only fix what needs to be fixed, never have I been told other parts were bad when they were good. And 250k miles now. My truck purrs. I will never have another shop touch my vehicles. JSR automotive is where it's at.

Jeremy and his team have been working on my vehicles for years now, ever since the Sherwood Meineke days. Not only are they Automotive Experts and enthusiasts, but extremely fair and reasonable. They repaired some serious structural damage to my Ford F-150 at a fraction of the cost I was quoted from other shops. He saved me from spending extra money by thoroughly investigating problems on my other vehicles as well. I will continue to come here and recommend his service to anyone who asks!

I’ve taken several vehicles in for exhaust and other repairs. The service is top knotch and extremely fast. There is no where else I’ll go for exhaust, brake or engine work. The guys are always helpful and friendly and have been able to diagnose issues that had everyone else stumped. I 100% recommend them to anyone needing repairs!

let me start with the fact that I normally hate to buy tires. This week I figured it was time and I was needing something kind of special for my car in the way of rubber. I contacted Jeremy and he helped me not only find better tires than I was looking at he knew exactly what I would need and gave me a phenomenal price. top notch work and awesome service as usual.

JSR motors epitomizes integrity and professionalism. If you are a bit leary of where to take your ride, then by all means take it to JSR.Look...I am a "car guy" and am particular on who works on my 69 Camaro Pro Touring convertible. There is nothing "old school" about it sans the body and few sundry chrome parts.

The mechanics and craftsman at JSR Onward Automotive are first rate. Jeremy and his crew are knowledgeable, meticulous and love their craft. They will go out of their way to serve you and will do their level best to finish the work in a timely fashion and most importantly, with integrity. Rest assure, they will never, ever change a faulty spark plug wire and then charge you for a complete tune up or a minor overhaul. You are in "Good Hands" with JSR Onward Automotive...

Jeremy is the best mechanic around. Regardless of ability to fix your cars problem (which he always can) , he looks out for the customer giving all discounts he can and often helping with knowledge, saving you money. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Thank you for always doing a great job JSR!

A light intermittently comes on with my 2013 RDX so I went to the dealership for diagnostics. The repair quote was pretty high so I went to JSR to get it looked at. Jeremy found out that there's a service bulletin related to the issue so he printed all the paperwork and advised that I take it back to the dealership. Bottomline, the dealer is fixing my car at no cost! Thank you JSR for going above and beyond in helping people wanting the best for your clients! I always leave this place feeling more secure and well-informed. Thanks again!

My boyfriend is the one who introduced me to this shop and I will never take my car anywhere else! They do great work for great prices and they have been so nice and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone I know for sure!! I’ve never had an issue with work they have done, everything has always turned out wonderful!

When we heard that the Meineke franchise in Sherwood had closed we were frantic - how would we ever find another mechanic shop with such great and knowledgeable guys as Jeremy and Randy?? SO VERY HAPPY you guys are still in business. We have always had great service and will continue to keep coming back.

This dude does crazy things like it's normal and makes you an awesome deal. Got some weird auto idea? He'll do it for you. Jeremy rocks!

Fantastic service. We were visiting family in Sherwood and showed up early Saturday morning looking for help. They ended up diagnosing, ordering the part and installing it by Tuesday morning. And they were very generous on labor charges! Great guys.

I needed an emergency brake repair this morning and none of my usual places had openings available. Randy was able to get me in and taken care of quickly and was very fair. I will definitely be coming back, highly recommend!

Always helps me when I need a fix on my old car.
Even showed me how to replace my brake light myself. Honest shop. Highly recommend.

Jeremy and crew went out of their way to get us on the road in comfort not once but twice in the same weekend when it was formerly Sherwood Meineke! These guys know how to do it and definitely ones you can trust to get back on the road or keeping you on the road!

I have to say that this shop ROCKS, I needed some exhaust system work and underbody fabrication, the results exceeded my expectations. I will be returning in the near future with more challenges.

UPDATE

You guys have done it again, the A/C pump gave out on me on an a Sunday, fixed and ready to roll on Tuesday..........great job.
