Robinsons Hardware & Rental

Robinsons came to pick up my snow blower for a tune up and the driver did a great job. They will return it after tune up. When I need other products to purchase, their people are always very knowledgeable and helpful to get what I need.

Raised in small-town Central Iowa, it’s refreshing to find this Chamber of Commerce worthy, walkable, convenient, and well-stocked family environment establishment. Rentals are a plus for not only homeowners, property managers, commercial businesses, and the independent landscapers. Why shop at the “Big Box Stores”? Support local businesses! It’s a win-win!

Great well organized hardware store with some great rentals.

I like to support local shops who have good service, advice, and a lot of what I need for hardware, paint, garden tools, etc. Power tool selection is pretty good. Prices are comparable to big box store without the hassle. Definitely recommend.

Robinson's had the part I needed for my snowblower, but more importantly the personnel looked up my machine and confirmed what part I needed. Being able to walk out of Robinson's with the right part the first time was great. Great personnel. Great selection. Thank you to Robinson's once again.

Took my mother shopping for lawn mower. Should have went there first. The only place that had what we wanted. Staff had it ready in minutes with gas and oil. They explained everything. Helped load it up. GO THERE 1ST

These people are awesome. Their merchandise is high quality and their service is outstanding. Its family-owned and the staff are remarkably knowledgeable and helpful. And they don't hide from view like the big box stores, they want to help. You'll also leave knowing you can rely on their advice, unlike Lowe's where you're never really sure if they've given you good information. And they have equipment rental and repair services. Overall, just a fantastic hardware store and more.

I'm a first time homeowner and have no idea what I'm doing. I've gone to Robinson's several times since moving in with some (probably stupid) questions and everyone there is so friendly and helpful without making me feel dumb. I definitely prefer Robinson's to any of the chains and will continue to come here regularly.

This place is great. Customer service is amazing! I called in to see if they stocked welding wire and they went to check while I waited on the line. Super fast response and they had my .06mm mig welding wire in stock. Im surprised they had it in store.

I called Lowe's before Robinson and they told me they believe they do stock welding wire, They refused to give me a yes or no answer no matter how hard I tried.I feel they just wanted to get me to drive down in hopes I would just buy something cause I already made the drive 😒

So I went to Home Depository and the Lowesome place, neither had what I needed nor even has someone friendly enough to actually help. I guess having what I needed helped. The young man who helped me, he took ownership of finding a solution and gathered the answers I needed. Yes, he out charmed his friendly fellow workers and enabled me to solve two problems that were nagging my to-do list for weeks. Wish my hometown had a store as great as this.

They say "time is money", right? So don't waste you time at a big box orange or blue home improvement place looking minutes on end for some help and/or items...or run into a surly, disinterested or not very knowledgeable employee. Here you get immediate, courteous and friendly personalized attention, help and fulfillment the moment you walk in the door! :-) They have it all, and are attentive and well organized. I did say friendly too right?! How can you go wrong? Robinson's a family owned "neighborhood" hardware store (multi-generation) that really cares...and delivers. And they have Saturday refreshments too... :-) Lots to be said about patronizing local business too that's worthy of YOUR business...and time.

I found this place after constantly being told by Lowes employees that I would have to go to Robinsons Hardware to find what I want. Robinsons had what I wanted, everyone who worked there was super friendly and helpful, and in the future I will shop here first.

**They copy smart car keys (with the chips in them) at a huge discount over what the dealership wants to charge you. I got my car key copied at half of what my dealership wanted and saved $90.

Always try here before I have to go to a big blue or orange home "improvement" store.. I recently rented a pump and the experience was Excellent. Fair rental rates and everyone was helpful. Overall great customer service throughout the store.

I have been doing business with the always friendly and helpful people at the Hudson MA store for 20 years. The store has high quality and good various products for all seasons. It is conveniently located downtown with plenty of parking space.

I had my gasoline jack hammer fixed by Robinson’s. Steve was great to work with and my machine was done in a timely fashion. It’s hard to find good people to work on small machines, I’ll definitely be back with other small engines!

Great people here. Always friendly and willing to help. Store has a great inventory even when supplies are hard to find, and is my go-to for just about everything hardware related.

Wow I would give the service department more stars if I could. I felt I was in great hands. Fast, knowledgeable & honest. Plan ahead they are busy & for good reason. Website is a wealth of information & easy to navigate.

I have gone to Robinson's for 20 years. I have often gone in with a problem and no real solution in mind, and almost every time they have helped me solve a problem with know-how and creative thinking. Whether it's Kim or Greg, or now the next generation, they are always thinking, always helpful and they know every inch of their store. It's a true neighborhood store, and I mean that in the best possible way.

I try and shop here over big chain home improvement stores. 9 out of 10 times Robinson’s has what I need. Staff are always friendly and attentive.
