I’ve seen Dr. Patel for all my procedures. I highly recommend him; excellent doctor, explains procedures well, courteous and very kind. The PA’s, I have seen them all, have always answered and explained the procedures I’ve needed very well. The front desk people are always friendly and helpful in making appointments

Dr. Mayer was extremely nice and knowledgeable. He doesn’t rush you and takes the time to explain everything to you before and after your procedure. In general the staff were extremely friendly and courteous. They follow up with a call to see how you’re feeling. I recommend without hesitation.

NSPM is unique in my experience and greatly appreciated. I am having trouble getting around due to intense pain in my buttocks and upper legs from a problem whose source is in my spine, between L4 and L5. Dr. Shah has been helping me with this. He’s a consummate pro who not only knows what he’s doing but also inspires confidence by explaining everything well. I recommend him and the center without reservation.

Wonderful staff and Dr’s wonderful environment very clean and friendly. The Dr’s there are the only Dr’s that finally helped me immensely after 6 shoulder surgeries over almost 20 yrs of pain suddenly under control!! GREAT BIG SHOUT OUT THE THE STAFF AND DR’S!

After 14 years with a different pain specialist, NSPM was a perfect choice for real comprehensive pain management. The huge difference is the complete overall approach to treating pain without heavy opiods in my case. I appreciate all of their staffing for their level of mutual respect. They all understand that I'm not new to treating my pain. Both Dr Shah and his PA listened to me with a deep understanding that I am willing to trying everything to ease my damaged spine. My appointment was within 48 hrs after a different Pain specialist recommended this group that alone is a game changer in my health care!!

I was skeptical as I've been working on my injury for over four years now. This is the latest place I was forwarded onto. So far, I am very happy with the team they have here. They are very well spoken and are able to explain the more complex medical terms to a regular person. While I'm still working through my injury, I am happy with the level of care that North Shore Pain Management has given to me.

Been a patient for over 8 years and have always received great care. Never forced to do any procedures and they work hard to find the best way to treat my back and knee pain. They explain everything to you in layman's terms and always respect your input.

As always my appointment was pleasant and after talking with the doctor, my husband, Chris and I were happy with what he shared. He gave us some new things to discuss and think about. Because of the care I've received from my doctor and his staff, my pain control has been able to stay at a safe level and tolerable.

They were very professional. They listened to my concerns, gave me a thorough exam and proceeded with a personalized treatment plan. Not like cookie cutter treatments that I have experienced in the past. I would highly recommend them to anyone that has pain management needs!

I have had severe back pain for a long time. My previous pain management doctor actually threw his hands up. He could not help me. I was referred to MGH pain management when I was hospitalized at MGH. Thankfully.

Associates were great all personnel I came in contact with answered all my questions I had and made me very comfortable. Dr Patel who gave me the shots in my back was very professional and also did a great job during procedure.

I have lower back pain. They are always efficient and friendly. They are usually always on time. Recommended highly never had an issue.
