Liz has been cutting my hair for years, and she knocks it out of the park every. time. The salon is welcoming and beautiful, and everyone is so friendly. I love going in and just letting Liz figure out my next cut. I was always such a nervous hair cut person bringing a zillion reference photos, but now i just let Liz do her thing. It's always awesome.

I live in Boston and drive to Beverly just to come to Purr and see Liz. She’s been styling my hair for years and I wouldn’t entrust it to anyone else. She’s a strong, creative entrepreneur who brings her experience from salons on Newbury Street to the North Shore. The parlor is a beautiful space to relax and the quality of her work is always top tier. I have blonde hair which is susceptible to dulling or color change over time; the dimension Liz is able to revive with balayage is stunning. Pics for proof.

Love Liz and Purr Beauty Parlor! A few years ago I wanted to change my very dark hair into light purple mermaid hair. I never thought it would be possible to do that and still have healthy hair, but Liz did it! I come out feeling so pretty and fresh every time I visit. I’ve been seeing Liz for almost 3 years and no matter where I’ve seen her, I’ve had the best experience, so when she moved from Boston to Beverly, I had to follow! The salon is super clean and comfortable and I always feel so relaxed when I visit. Liz has worked wonders with my hair and has always been honest about what to do with it from cuts to color. Everyone at the salon is extremely friendly whether they have worked with you or not, professional, and welcoming.

I drive 45 minutes to this salon in Beverly just to see Elizabeth. Yes, getting out of the house is a whole ordeal for me because I’m leaving behind 2 kids under 2 while I’m gone but I can truly say it is worth it each time I leave Purr Beauty Salon. I have dark level 2 hair/roots and I tend to ask for light, white gold hair — not an easy task but Liz delivers each time. I’m pretty particular when it comes to hair execution and Liz never fails to keep me happy with her blended balayages and color melt masterpieces. Oh, I’ve decided I want to change it up and go for a vivid mauve-y pink instead of the usual? No problem, Liz says. She is always cordial, always professional and ever so patient. The salon decor itself is a great reflection of Liz: chic, cute but edgy. Good vibes all around.

Liz is the best! She has been cutting my hair since 2013 and I am always so happy after each haircut! Not only is she a very skilled stylist, she is an amazing and caring person. I’m so proud that she has opened up her own salon. I could not recommend her more highly!

Danny always makes me feel like a VIP when he cuts my hair. After struggling to find a regular salon, I found Purr and am in love! The salon space is chic and super clean, and the staff go above and beyond to make your experience feel luxurious. Danny is an incredible stylist - he knows exactly what will work for my hair type and really listens to what I want. I always leave feeling amazing!

Liz (owner) is a master at her craft! She worked with the best of the best in Boston and has opened up her very own Salon in beautiful downtown Beverly. Steps away from a cafe and the beach, this spot is worth going to! Liz is a fantastically superb stylist and she does amazing hair color, from a classy balayage to your fantasy vivid color dreams. Her hair cuts are always fun and she really listens to your visions. She is also extremely sweet and fun to talk with, making hours long appts fly by in a flash. I highly recommend her salon!

I am so so happy to have found Danny and Purr. I went on the recommendation of a friend, after trying a couple other nearby salons and feeling very underwhelmed. The moment I walked in I was greeted with warmth, and after showing him some photos and talking about my current issues with my hair, I 100% felt that Danny just "got" me. He took the vibe I wanted and found a way to make it work with my very fine hair. The length he cut absolutely nailed it and my hair feels so bouncy and happy. He gave me the baby bangs of my dreams. And he's just a wonderful person. I am so excited to end my search for an amazing hair stylist I can 100% trust in my new home town. <3

Elizabeth is so kind, welcoming, and talented! I’ve been wanting to go blonde for a while, and she made my hair dreams come true!! After going to her once a few months ago, I’ve already been back again because I was so happy with how it turned out. She truly puts so much effort into what she does, and it shows.
She is very careful about covid guidelines too, which made me feel very safe and at ease while I was there.

I went to Pure for the first time in mid April. First haircut in months. Elizabeth was my stylist. She made me feel comfortable from the minute I walked in. The atmosphere was welcoming for guys like myself. Not too ‘beauty’ parlor and not a barbershop. A great mix. My stylist was on time, not pushy, gave me great suggestions and had me out of their in 30 minutes. On my way out I booked for May. Thanks ladies!

I was lucky enough to be take care of today by Rae! They made me feel right at home and helped me communicate what I wanted for my haircut even though I am not well versed in technical terms. They checked in with me every step of the way and I felt comfortable knowing that I could say what I wanted to about my hair. I have never felt more welcomed at a salon or staff member than I did today!

The attention to detail by the whole staff but especially Rae is the reason I will be coming back for all future hair related needs!

Obsessed with my new color. I told Liz what I wanted and she did exactly that, but even better than I was hoping. I had two inch roots and faded green hair. She brought it back to life!
