New Balance St. Louis

First time here and my girlfriend need better shoes for her feet as she works. One week later her feet feel 75% better.

I am so glad we dropped in.

After trying a pair of Hokas that I didn't like for a couple months, I had to go back to old reliable New Balance and this store is the right place to go. I've been to many different stores over the years and my conclusion is you need to go to a dedicated NB store for your purchase. I've been to this store 3 times and one thing you can count on when going to a NB store is the knowledge of their staff. My salesperson got me the right size shoe of the model I wanted and the correct insole for my high instep. I left their a happy camper and will go back for my next pair.

We needed a high quality tennis shoe that gave ankle support while cushioning the heel. We got amazing personal service with help from some high tech equipment.... plus we had a choice of colors to choose from. If you want or need a quality product, you'll have to pay a little more, but we felt it was worth it and we're glad we went to New Balance today. Thanks Tim for your expertise selling us our new shoes.

I needed a new pair of tennis shoes and started my journey to find a comfortable and reliable pair of walking or training shoes for my workouts and trip to Alaska in the near future. I was greeted by Tim M who was very courteous and professional. He showed me a few pairs of shoes that had mesh but I have not had much luck with mesh. I was replacing ones that ripped 1 month old. We settled on a leather walking shoe, the 840 walking shoe. My previous shoes had a minor arch orthotic for a high arch. Tim provided a similar orthotic - a metatarsal insole to help with excess pressurer on the balls of my feet as well as my high arches. The shoes fit well and were very comfortable and supportive. Should work well when walking and working out with little to no pain. As a bonus if you have issues with your feet they have a 3D scanner for your feet to see just what problem points you may have when wearing the wrong shoe or high arches like my podiatrist diagnosed. This was interesting to see how it worked. I would go back possibly for an all terrain shoe for hiking. This was a very successful outing. Thanks Tim M. Keep up the good work.

I have been buying New Balance running shoes since the 1980’s. I recently purchased a new pair and the salesman suggested I replace the insole with a “better” one which would be better for my feet. After a few weeks of suffering pain in my feet which I have never had, I took them back to the store and the assistant manager Tim was very understanding and put the original insoles back in the shoes. Now I can walk without pain and many thanks to Tim for his help.

Excellent shoes but the fit is a bit sloppy and the arch supports are slippery. I think this is a one-and-done purchase opportunity.(previous 3 stars but updated to 4.) Update: after my previous review I received a telephone call from Tom, the New Balance store manager. He invited me back for a "Do Over". I explained I was out of town on vacation and I could come in upon my return. He stated, "no problem." I went back this morning and Tom greeted me and found the right New Balance shoes for me. Updated August 23: I removed the expensive New Balance Arch supports and replaced them with the factory originals. After 3 months, I have been slipping around and they never improved the comfort of these shoes.

My husband went into this location a few days ago to get me a new pair of shoes. I am disabled and have worn pretty much the same pair of new balances for the last 10 years. Unfortunately, the pair that he got me did not fit the way that they used to. The bones in my feet have shifted a little bit I guess. I went back to the store the next day so that I could try shoes on in person. We had the most awesome, nice, wonderful sales woman helping us out. Rosa went above and beyond to help me find a pair of shoes that not only was comfortable, but also looked fairly stylish. She was absolutely amazing. If you need a new pair of shoes and you like new balance, I definitely recommend going to this location and having Rosa help you out!

I went to get shoes for my disabled daughter, who is learning how to walk again, and the salesperson found us the right shoes. They fit her perfectly, and she loves them

Clean, Modern Activewear outlet. I've been using NB for quite a while. The shoes I got this time are the best yet. Appreciate John's expertise showing them to me. They're a great shoe for me.

I popped into this store to see if they could exchange for a different size that I bought online. The two staff members that were holding down the fort on this frigid 20-degree day were so warm, welcoming & helpful. Tom especially took really good care of me & gave me excellent advice. I'll surely come back to this location for all my New Balance needs. Thanks Tom!!

Great Product! You can buy American Made tennis shoes here. Always well staffed = plenty of people to help you. They do not keep an extensive stock of shoe however. I often find they have to order something and have it shipped to my house. I'd prefer to pick it up that day if I can.

Super helpful staff here and everyone is oh, so kind! Anita was extremely comforting and went above and beyond to make sure I had the right size shoe! Will be sending more friends and family here to do business 👍😎

Had a great experience getting some new shoes! Tim was great helping me pick out the best pair for me! I was so grateful they had a program to measure my feet, because I have been wearing the wrong size!

Had a lot problem with shoes after knee surgery. Went to the New Balance shoe store sales person was excellent. Got me in the right size shoe with a great insert to help my Arch. Great, much better recommend the store very highly if I have problems with your feet

Worth the trip just for the fancy foot scanner. I bought inserts for my old shoes AND am going to purchase buy my first full-price pair of running shoes. Selection is not the largest, but the store is so specialized, the one-on-one attention makes up for it.

Great place. Veronica was beyond nice with assisting us while we chose our shoes. She offered to scan our feet and made sure to explain everything in detail from why insoles are important and the posting that is already in shoes. Very informative and I am glad we were able to experience her amazing customer service. A true asset to the company.

They are the only athletic shoes that come in narrow sizes, so they are my go-to store for sneakers. Fast friendly staff who always assure I get exactly what I need. I love the women 840 shoe!

Needed my size measured and received ample help from Nick. He even brought out 2 different sizes, size 10 and 10.5 we were able to conclude my exact size being inbetween the two sizes. Very grateful and thankful for his help

Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Came in uncertain of what I wanted to buy and they worked with me and found the perfect pair. Now I’m wearing these shoes everywhere. Def will be back for another pair and for the amazing staff.
