Shaban's of Andover

I don’t have any fashion sense.
Luckily I live near a shop that does and cares enough to help make me look good.
Shaban’s of Andover sells fine men’s clothing, tailors men’s clothes and bridal gowns.
I usually see Christina, but everyone there knows and understands fashion and style.
The clothes are high quality and they have me dressed well from head to foot.

I have been to Shaban‘s on two separate occasions. On the first, I had a suit and two dress shirts tailored. Every piece came out excellent. Two years later, I returned to Shaban's because I needed some dress clothes tailored for graduate school. Although May is considered a busy time of year for businesses like Shaban's -due to graduations, proms and weddings - Christina (who also took care of me during my first visit) agreed to have my five dress shirts and three pairs of slacks finished in just under two weeks. After picking up my clothes and trying them on at home (instead of trying them on in the store, nearly certain they would fit well) I noticed that although I loved the way the shirts came out, the slacks were a little short for my liking. Now, I do not believe this was a mistake on Zafer's (the gentleman who measured me) part, but mostly my own fault. The reason is because I do not have a lot of experience buying dress clothes and I was not sure exactly what I wanted until the pants were already finished. With two days left prior to starting grad school in Maine, I was in a bit of a panic. On a whim, I gave Shaban's a phone call and spoke to Christina. Now, I’ve been extremely impressed with the professionalism of each of Shaban's employees since the moment I first walked through their doors, it was not until after my conversation with Christina that I was simply blown away by the outstanding customer service and friendliness displayed. Christina told me to come into the store right away so that each of the three pairs of pants could be fixed to my liking. Not only that, she said they would be ready in an hour. I was actually on my way to Maine, but I quickly started heading towards Shaban's in complete disbelief. And although I considered my request to be pedantic, Shaban himself greeted me in the store with a warm smile and firmly shook my hand. Zafer apologized, albeit unnecessarily. And Cristina called me by my first name, which spoke volumes to me. Thanks to each of them, I’ll be wearing the best fitting clothes for grad school and I will feel confident in my professional appearance, which I take very seriously. Thank you so much to Shaban, Zafer and Christina. I will continue to recommend Shaban's as a necessary stop for anybody seeking nice clothes, experienced tailoring and outstanding customer service.

Shaban’s is the BEST for prom dress fitting/tailoring! My daughter’s dress needed only a very slight adjustment, and Shaban’s handled it in minutes and would not even let us pay. So kind. No appointment needed, just a lovely store with lovely people in downtown Andover.

Shaban's helped me buy my first suit. I shopped around at the usual stores we all hear about and know, but when I walked into Shaban's I got a sense that the staff there truly cared about helping me. I really didn't know much about suits in general, but they helped answer any and all questions/concerns that I had, and made me feel comfortable. The suit came out perfect! It fits me like a glove and is so comfortable! I will always come back to Shaban's, and I highly recommend you go see them if you're in the market for a suit.

Shabans is definitely the best in the area and surely the best I’ve ever had. They’re very personal and pay very good attention to details. It’s nice to know you’re heard and always cared for the minute you walk into the store!

I had a tear in my $700 Helly Hansen jacket, and I did not know where to bring it to try and repair it. I walked into Shaban’s, asked if they could help me out and they fixed it right on the spot, and would not let me pay!!! I’m definitely going back and telling everybody else that the shop is beautiful and sells nice clothing, and they really know how to take care of their customers. I’m going to go back to take him out to lunch! Definitely 5 stars!

My request came to Zafer on a particularly busy week and late in the day. He handled the urgency flawlesssly, staying late, arranging for an immediate tailor and was exemplary in his service to our needs.
Though my business partnership did not work out with the above mentioned, I will assure you the fabulous suit will go to a deserving and professional business man and worn with pride.

I like my clothes to have a perfect fit and a good way of achieving it is to have them re-worked by a professional tailor. It’s very hard to find a good tailor and I tried several until I found Shabans.
I have taking my clothes for adjustments to Shabans for several years and I cannot be more pleased. The quality of the work and service is absolutely impeccable and I recommend them to everyone!!

Have used Shaban’s a few times for alterations
Their work is perfection but this week I had an urgent need for some alterations to a dress. Not only were they super accommodating -the final result was once again amazing. Thank you Shabans for helping me out in a pinch and your continued excellent tailoring.

Shaban's has been a great partner and friend of our programs. They alter and add patches to our students uniforms at VERY reasonable prices. They were first to great me when I moved in next door when they were on Chestnut St. I miss having them downstairs but am so happy they are on Main St!!!

I went in early one morning because I forgot to pack a dress shirt. Not only did they help me pick a great shirt and tie, they pressed the shirt and I was in and out quickly. Shaban even helped to fix my tie. Great service and great clothing.

This place sell very good quality clothes and owner very positive ; especially you can find any kind classic or mavi jeans brand clothes too , I really recommended

My husband, father, and my husbands groomsmen all rented tuxes from Shabans for our wedding. The service was top notch and so personalized. There was an issue with one of the groomsmen's tuxes, however the owner was able to get a new tux right away the next afternoon. Everything went smoothly and we were happy with the tuxes and customer service.
