La Artesa Panadería y taqueria

So happy I stumbled upon this family owned taqueria and bakery! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. The owners are the kindest, most delightful family. The tacos were amazing and wow - the pastries!!! LOVE!

There is a reason why this place has only 5 stars reviews. Absolutely amazing. The owner was an absolute SWEETHEART. Absolutely amazing place I came from all the way from New York/New Jersey and I will never forget about this place. I will be back just to come here. The food alone is something i’ve never tried. Also can’t forget about the pastry’s, so amazingly good and so cheap.

Came in around 6 in the evening on a Monday. Ordered the flautas and Carnitas Tortas along with an horchata and Pineapple Aguas Frecas. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The presentation was good. The service was great and the lady in the front was so kind. The place is very clean and well maintained. Will definitely be back.

Just visit La Artesa today! We have Menudo and Tortas, the dishes are delicious! The Tortas is huge! Good service! Highly recommend this place! They also make fresh pastry everyday!
Note: no idea why they do not accept tips by cards, so bring cash to tips them!

Doesn't look like much of a place from the parking lot but oh man, great tacos! Always judge taco places by their pastor and asada and theirs was delicious and the salsas were so tasty. Also great horchata. Have other things on the menu but I only tried the tacos. Full case of fresh pastries and bread as well. Would definitely come back again!

I got the Pastor (roasted pork & pineapple)3 taco platter with corn tortillas. Delicious, pretty to look at and comes with fresh cilantro, lime slices, diced onions, rice, beans. Nice person took my order at counter. Food brought to table and you pay after.

This place is a hidden gem! Tortas are the bomb here! Made on freshly baked and super soft bread made in-house. Also, the tacos de pastor on tortillas de maiz are amazing!! They have delicious menudo on the weekends. It's the perfect color and flavor for menudo. I've been searching for good menudo for a long time and finally found a good place that I can really recommend. Oh, and they have a bakery here too! Freshly made pan dulce for dessert? Yes, please!! Soooooo soft and delish! We're coming back with friends!!

Sorry didn't get photo of our plates. Menu on the wall or on the tv above cashier. This is a hole in the wall. Worth every bit of five stars. Friendliness, Tastes Amazing. Portions was a little smaller than chain restaurants but it was filling. Cost for two plates, and a drinks was $22 then add a $10 tip that they deserved.

My wife and I were looking to kill time and grab a bite to eat while waiting for our son at the skate park. This place came up nearby and the almost 100% five star reviews definitely stood out. From the moment we walked in the energy and joy of the staff stood out. The good food did not disappoint. The tacos were delicious and the menudo was very tasty. We will definitely be back!

If feels like a family restaurant, and the sweet bread, and the Bolillo‘s are made from scratch it. Taste like Mexico.

It was a pleasure to visit this uncunspicus place, the menu is simple and straightforward yet with variety of options, authentic and well served, very reasonably priced, the salsas are great, not watered down. Not to mention the bread is really fresh out of the oven, and it does not leave a greasy after taste or feeling as in most bakeries.
The customer service is OUTSTANDING, friendly and attentive at all times. Don't expect a fancy overly decorated place, but very simple, clean and spacious.
I wish I lived in town so i can visit more often, next time I am in the area I will definitely try to make it back.

I've been looking to come here for a while due to the great reviews. It didn't disappoint. The food is fresh and delicious. The service was just as amazing. The pastries were just as good.

Great place to go eat and there bread is always fresh no matter what time.

Stopped in for tacos and left with pastor and asada tacos, milanesa tortas and cake!
Everything was delicious, there were so many treats to choose from, even at 7pm. The service was wonderful and the decor was adorable. We will definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I have been looking for the best Mexican restaurant in texas for almost a year now and i can safely say this is hands down, THE BEST. The food is amazing and the customer service went above and beyond our expectations. They treat you like family and we really love that, definitely coming here at least once a week with her:)
