LA FINA RESTAURANT

Catherine was our server and she was lovely. Our meal and service from beginning to end was a perfect food and drink experience. The steak I had was amazing. The affogato dessert was a life changing experience for me. Expensive but worth it.

Normally head into Boston when looking for a great steakhouse, but was recommended this spot by many people on a Merrimack valley eats Facebook group. It did not disappoint!
Had a res at 630 on a Friday, but got there at 530 and was able to sit right away due to being nearly empty(not surprising since it was quite early).
The ambiance is beautiful here. They have valet parking outside, a coat check as well. The waiter came right over to us, and truly was one of the best waiters we’ve had. In such an upscale restaurant, Andrew was the perfect mix of professional, knowledgeable on the menu, and down to earth. He came over to us quite often, and was cracking jokes, he truly was the star of the show.
We got the home made bread (my bf said it’s the best bread he has had) and ordered a couple of drinks. I had seen a drink on the menu from a couple months ago I was interested in, and the server informed me that that drink menu was for their lounge attached on the other side(that was having a private event) and they didn’t have the products over on the restaurant side. He went above and beyond though, and was able to have the bartender recommend a drink very similar to what we were looking for, which was probably better than the original one we wanted, it was delicious. He was only able to do this though because it was a little slower at that time, and of course, we wouldn’t have even asked if it were a little later in the night, as it got packed in here!

We ordered the pork belly, wagyu spring rolls, and a Caesar salad for starters. All of them were amazing. The salad was big enough to share as well.
For entrees, I ordered the chicken dish which has an unbelievable sauce on it. Came recommended from waiter, and he was not wrong.
My boyfriend got the short rib, literally fell apart when you touched it, it was so tender.
We also got sides of the croquettes which had a light cream sauce on them (amazing, never had a croquette before) and the bacon Brussel sprouts.
For dessert, he got the seasonal cinnamon bread dish with ice cream, and I got the cheesecake. Both also very good and made by their pastry chef.
The whole experience was amazing, and I am not someone who ever writes reviews, but always looks at them, so I wanted to make sure I posted for anyone who is looking for a fancy dinner north of Boston, with great food and even better service.

Very very good Steak house. From the service to the food it was exceptional! They make their own focaccia bread that tasted really good. The wedge salad, and Caesar salad was really good. We got our steaks with a peppercorn crust which was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. For sides we got the truffle corn and the truffle fries… SUPER good! Our server Amanda was super sweet and very attentive. The service was extremely good. This place was a 10/10 definitely worth the money! We will be back soon :)

Food, service and atmosphere at La Fina are all excellent. The service in particular is the best in the area. Ordered apps, salads, entrée and dessert. The staff timed everything perfectly to provide a totally relaxed feeling. Cocktails and wine were outstanding. The portions were very good, Caesar salad is large enough to share. I can't recommend La Fina enough!

La Fina Restaurant is a beautiful restaurant with very talented and creative chefs that produce delicious beautifully seasoned and presented dishes. The waitstaff is also superior...we always ask for Lori...she is the best of the best. Her warmth, enthusiasm and attention to every dining detail makes La Fina one of our favorite restaurants. Plus the pastry chef Melissa is a dessert genius!!! WE LOVE IT ALL FROM START TO FINISH!!!

Overlooking Main Street with large glass windows that open up for al fresco dining in the summer, La Fina brings Boston class dining to the suburbs. With a beautiful bar, cozy booths, and a warm but modern and stylized fireplace La Fina creates a setting that's delightful and yet not too pretentious. There is also their New York style lounge next door called Prive.

When we come we continually get amazing service. Everything is delivered in a friendly and down-to-earth manner. Nothing is rushed, and conversation is encouraged. The "Smoke Show" Old Fashion is a delightful twist on cocktail tradition, and the Surf & Turf special was done exquisitely well. We finished off a recent night with a banana cream cheesecake that was superb.

If you're looking for a $30 main course and a quick bite, there are other restaurant chains that can do that. If you're looking for high-end dining, personalized service and delicious food and don't want to spend $100 in an Uber fare to get you into Boston, then you found your new home. La Fina in Andover...bravo.

First time at LA Fina. Everything was great! Food, drinks, service top notch. I am a big fan. Definitely will be back.

La Fina always delivers! My favorite place to go when I want to go somewhere more high end or for a special occasion. The crab cocktail is a must, and their steaks are amazing. Brunch is also delicious!

Amazing experience! From the food to the service, everything was wonderful. The cocktails are great and are IG post worthy. The place also offer complementary valet parking. I highly recommend the grilled salmon, lobster mac&cheese and the cream spinach.

The experience was great, both the service and the quality of food. We started off with the halibut caviar appetizer which was fantastic. Split a Caesar salad that has a little twist to it. Excellent . Then the entree. I'd say that was probably the best bone-in ribeye I've had. Also had the cauliflower and the mushrooms for side dishes. They were both great but I highly recommend the mushroom side dish. My mom had the fish special and she was thrilled. Wish I tried it. Will be back again.

We went there for brunch and it was a nice day so we could sit right at the end of the balcony. They have a great setup that even the indoor seating can feel almost like outdoor seating while being covered in case it rains. Everything we ordered was great and the service was excellent. The prices are a bit high but the quality you get makes it feel worth it. On Sundays there is a parking lot that is 2 blocks away and is free but I would park there even on days you have to pay. I asked and it's best to have a reservation as they get busy, but if you go early on Sunday or on a weekday you might be able to sit down without a reservation.

Great food, great environment, fast and great service and easy parking make this a must place for me. Unfortunately I don't live close to it so I can't become a regular, bit I did live nearby I would go there a lot (within reason of course, because as I mentioned it is a bit pricey... :).

What an excellent meal! Oscar, our server, was top notch - especially the sweet potato recommendation and the Seamless cab.

Started with a martini and a basil drink that was new tonight...excellent.

Tuna tartar was really nice although the chips may have been slightly over cooked.

Skipped salad to move to the porterhouse. Perfectly MR with massive steak fries and sauce. We added sweet potato per Oscar's recommendation - no brainer. Huge portion. Also had mushrooms which added a perfect earthy flavor to the steak.

Will I return. ABSOLUTELY!

Had an absolutely fabulous time! Our waitress, Amanda, was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with exceptional service. The atmosphere, music, service and food were incredible and I cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend trying their old fashioned and definitely save room for dessert, you won’t regret it!

Have always had a great time at La Fina. Went last night for my best friends birthday and had a wonderful experience.
The wait staff is top notch, their home made bread is delicious, and you have to try their wedge salad- best around! My friend had the salmon and I had the filet with garlic butter and chimichurri which was fantastic and we split the truffle fries - SO GOOD!
The only thing that could be improved are the cocktails. It’s a small menu but not much to offer if you prefer vodka. The glitterpom is the only thing we really liked and it’s only okay. Overall would come back over and over again!

My experience at La Fina was outstanding. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun, but also on the fancier side. The furniture is modern and the colors are bright and fresh. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the specials and food in general, clearly very hard working, and friendly. I will say that the drinks weren't the best I have ever had, but the food was top notch. The filet mignon was tender and cooked perfectly, and the sides were exceptional. I went to a fairly local competitor the following day for a special occasion and I can confidently say that La Fina was much better. I got almost the same meal to actually make an honest comparison. I have, and will continue to, recommend La Fina to my friends and family. We will be back!

Absolutely loved this place! The service was incredible; very attentive and helpful! You feel welcomed and appreciated throughout the entire visit! Complimentary valet makes arrival so much easier and far more pleasant. The restaurant’s ambiance is tastefully done; truly exquisite! I love the art and all the subtle details!! Finally, the food! Wow! Mouthwatering, to-die-for, absolutely impeccable! This restaurant is a must visit!!

One of the best filets I’ve ever eaten, and the smoky whiskey was a fantastic compliment. Highly recommend for a date night or occasion!

We enjoyed dinner for our 18th wedding anniversary. Great ambience, music, service, food. Will certainly be back.
