Lucky Garden

I have eaten at this restaurant a few times before. It's a traditional Chinese restaurant, and although the owner has recently changed, the taste hasn't changed in over a decade. You could say that this restaurant is old, including both the taste of the dishes and the decor inside. If you like traditional Chinese food, you can give it a try, but you might prefer more modern dishes. However, I personally enjoy the traditional taste. The portion sizes are good, and the prices are reasonable for this area. I don't have high demands personally, so I would give it a higher rating.

If I could eat at one place in or around Bristol for the rest of my life, it’d be Lucky garden . That’s not an overstatement. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu and nothing falls short of perfection. I’m a connoisseur of few things, I’ve stopped looking after eating here for a year. There is nothing better, I promise you.

I don't eat in, so I can't give full attention to things I don't know. The atmosphere when walking in is pleasant for the most part, but the customer service is great, and the food quality is similar to most other restaurants of this genre. Ordered the beef with broccoli and was not disappointed as the sauce was not short as I have encountered with others. The egg drop soup is the same everywhere, and it's good. Prices are still reasonable in comparison to making it myself. I don't order delivery as I pick up everywhere and this location is good for it.

I have been ordering from Lucky Garden regularly for years. I love it here! It’s consistent and very delicious every time. Highly recommend!

Wow. I was pretty impressed. It was good Chinese food at the reasonable price! I especially loved their fried rice. As I was raised on Chinese food, their fried rice was delicious. $30 for 2 good meals!

Ordered the Sesame chicken, crab rangoon, egg rolls and pork fried rice. We liked all of it. The chicken was tender, and not too sweet on the sauce. The fried rice was tasty and not overly salty. The egg rolls were crisp, and had good taste. Crab rangoon was very good as well. We will be returning for more.

I get takeout often from Lucky Garden, and the food is always good. I'm surprised by reviews that are less than 5 stars, but see most of these come from folks annoyed by abrupt service. To clue the annoyed in: these people are BUSY, because their food is very good and reasonably priced. They're filling many orders and everyone wants food ASAP. To me, this is an obvious sign of an excellent restaurant -- which is exactly what Lucky Garden is!

I've been looking for a go-to Chinese takeout since moving to the area, and I think I just found it. I ordered fried dumplings--hard to go wrong with those, and they were good. I also ordered Shrimp with Garlic Sauce. I wish the sauce were more garlicky and less sweet, but the vegetables were so fresh and varied, not just onion and celery. It had peapods, broccoli fresh and a little crunchy, carrots, and mushroom. I'll definitely be ordering more from Lucky Garden.

Best food around I would definitely recommend the cashew chicken dinner and the general sao chicken dinner and u will always want to come back as a regular!!

I'm baffled that this place only has 3 stars. This is the best Chinese takeout food I've had! They use such high quality ingredients and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. You can tell they really put effort into developing great recipes and delivering delicious food. Give this place a try!

Got two combination dinners, a side of crab rangoons and a side of veggie lo mein. The food is DELICIOUS for a reasonable price. The crab rangoons were stuffed and the lo mein was a nice thicker consistency. When I called to order it was brief and they hung up right away but when I went in they were super nice and efficient. Will 100% recommend and go back again!

Orange chicken, hot and sour soup, and egg roll were all great and service was friendly! Orange chicken was especially good — big pieces of chicken, not too much breading, and sauce wasn’t too sweet.

Not sure why there are so many 1 star reviews. This place has the best American style Chinese take away. We always get it for pickup. Never any issues order accurate and food hot. We love these guys

My friend introduced me to Lucky Garden, ever since, my boyfriend and I will drive an hour round trip for their food! Flavorful and not greasy. Highly recommend

Not sure why the 1 star reviews. We order from them all the time and they're pretty consistent compared to other Chinese restaurants. They're quick for pick up orders and always friendly.

First time trying and awesome food, pretty quick and great people behind the counter, very impressed and would highly recommend in the area and definitely will be returning again in the near future, thanks again

Most of the menu that I’ve tried is really good and consistent with their taste and texture with everything. Nice little Chinese spot we order all the time from with good people and quick delivery

Best pork fried rice we've ever had. Generous pieces of pork! We don't go anywhere else since we ordered there.
