My husband and I have been twice so far and it's absolutely wonderful. the atmosphere is relaxing and clean and the staff are super friendly. Even when they're busy it feels cozy. The breakfast is some of the best I've had, probably my favorite place for breakfast in the entire area. And you can't beat the prices with the delicious meals you get. My only upset is that we can't go more often than we do. Update: I lost my husband on memorial day and recently went back to have a silent breakfast with the memory of my late husband. They were so wonderful and understanding. And the food is still so yummy. High recommended!

My husband, daughter and I were in the area and did a quick google search found Hangar 12. I saw it had 4.5 Star, so without reading the reviews we decided to stop by. When you drive up it’s a little confusing but it’s inside the airport center area.

I’m so glad we decided to go inside because the food was absolutely delicious! We got the Magical Pancakes, Florentine Benny, Irish Benny and the Stuffed French Toast.

The Magical Pancakes were really tasty. All toppings are cooked inside the pancakes. The caramelized bananas and walnuts really give it tons of flavor. The outside of the pancakes was not as flavorful but over all it tasted great.

The Florentine Benny was delicious too. The hollandaise sauce is really what makes this dish because other then that it’s really just poached eggs with chopped tomatoes and steamed spinach.

My favorite the Irish Benny! The corned beef hash and hash browns were super flavorful! The corned hash is home made and you can definitely taste the freshness. They give 3 eggs which I think it’s great because a lot of times with eggs Benny it’s usually too much bread and not enough eggs so I liked that a lot.

My daughter enjoyed the stuffed French Toast. I thought they were good, nothing over the moon but she really enjoyed them.

I don’t know why I ordered a side of spiced black beans lol. It said spiced and I expected something amazing but it felt like canned beans with paprika or spices on top. A waste of $3. But hey, I can’t expect everything to be perfect.

Service was quick, the waitress asked my husband if he needed anything else while I was in the bathroom with my daughter and when I came back to sit down, she asked me and said I asked your husband but I wanted to make sure you are also ok and got everything you need. I though that was excellent customer service.

Over all I thought it was absolutely delicious and there was a dish for everyone’s taste buds. I see the negative reviews are primarily on long wait times and food not cooked to peoples preferences. Food is subjective, I would give it a try and go on a day that’s not busy. I went on Tuesday around 10:30am and it was a full house but nothing that made the kitchen scream for help. Wade, the older gentleman I’m assuming is the owner was very sweet and accommodating and gave great recommendations. Will definitely be back.

Pictured: Irish Benedict & Blueberry Pancake

Love this breakfast place. Great breakfast classic but executed in a scratch kitchen which is in full view. Uniquely located at the local municipal airport which makes for an interesting environment, especially if it’s warm enough to eat outside.

Delicious food. Great atmosphere. There's a patio outside to watch the planes.
Hangar 12 is located inside the Mansfield Airport Terminal. Very small sign at the driveway only.
My ONLY complaint is that the hanging decorations need a good cleaning.

I absolutely loved my experience at Hanger 12! The restaurant is tucked away in a charming location within the Mansfield airport. Despite the lack of external signage, the restaurant was packed with people and the food was top-notch. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was delicious, while my niece ordered the eggs Benedict and was equally impressed. The service was prompt and courteous, making our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hidden gem, although you may need to rely on word-of-mouth as it feels like a secret spot reserved just for the locals.

This amazing breakfast and luncheon at located the Mansfield municipal Airport, was the perfect experience. The service was excellent, the food was served hot and quickly. Their homemade corn beef hash is out of this world. Poached eggs are cooked perfectly and the chicken and waffles are a must have!

Food was great! Cold brew coffee was strong! Didn't have any ice in the 0lastic cup tho which I thought was weird but not a huge deal. Service was good as well short wait time for a table and was asked if we preferred inside or outside(I like options). Cool experience to eat a good breakfast and watch helicopters and small planes land/take off right near you! Was Def fun!

Great place to sit and watch the planes take off and land. Good food. You have to get there early because it gets busy very fast and small breakfast place. Food is good I recommend the corned beef hash

First, how is there an airport, municipal or otherwise, 12 min. from where I live and I didn't know about it? Second, the corned beef hash breakfast platter was something special. This wasn't some canned corned beef hash. This version included actual shredded corned beef (no fat found) on a bed of shredded hash browns. I imagine that there were other ingredients as well. I just can't remember. I had it with scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese. The English muffin was cold, but they replaced it. I will be back.

We did a $100 hamburger flight Wed 032019. Enjoyed tuna melts and a good cup of coffee. Great service. Lots of window space for viewing the airplanes. We parked the airplane in a ten space rectangular area east of the restaurant which has a narrow entrance - the airport manager said it was ok but as the flight school will be getting busy, parking in the ramp area southeast of the fuel tank will be better next time.

Man, I tell you there's nothing like stumbling on not just a hidden gem but an overall absolutely amazing experience. Hangar 12 is a beautiful open kitchen family restaurant with an insane menu....no believe me you'll want EVERYTHING!!! They serve breakfast all day. There is seasonal outdoor seating and views of various airplanes on the field ( if you're lucky, you just may witness a takeoff or landing )

Everyone was extremely friendly. Taylor, our server, was nothing short of amazing, making suggestions for us to make our meal even better. The white chocolate cold brew was fantastic!! Food came hot and so so good! Portions are perfect for the price. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back.

What's also cool is there is a trail about half a mile away on the left. My wife, friends, and I enjoyed that as well walking all the way to the end ( the center of town in Mansfield) and back. It's a nice walk, be prepared..

Overall, the wife and I and our friends enjoyed the entire experience and are already planning on what to order when we go next time. See you soon, Hangar 12!

Excellent food and a great view of the airport. A hidden gem that I wish I had found sooner.
This restaurant is tucked inside the Mansfield airport: when you walk into the airport building the restaurant is on the left. There is counter, table and outside table seating. The staff were all very friendly and the food was all cooked and plated very well.
The stuffed French toast has a berry compote that is nice and tart to offset the sweetness of the French toast and the Huervos Rancheros Skillet is an incredible blend of avocado, beans, onions, tomato, potato and topped with a couple eggs.
