Pleasant View Trailhead

Visit the pleasant view trailhead on Mar 13 2024 and it was a great hike!

We came in the early morning and the sun was still behind the mountain so it was quite cool. Most of the route is moderately uphill, yet the walk is relatively easy and it also helped us to warm up. The view is simply stunning and the higher you go, the more it opens up and because of the direction of the sun it was possible to see as far as Ogden, maybe even further. Besides the views, we saw traces of wild animals and birds from the area, so there is a good chance to meet wail animals there, remember to behave responsibly.

We walked about 1.5 miles until we had to turn around and go back because unfortunately we were not prepared enough for the snow that was still at the top of the route. We will definitely come back in a month or two and try again.

In conclusion, the route is beautiful and the walk is relatively easy, so it is suitable for everyone, we had a great time and recommend everyone to visit!

Pleasant View Trailhead is a great place for biking, hiking, and trail running. Now, I wouldn't travel to hit any of these trails, but they are amazing as a local, convenient excursion.

The trail builders did a great job of adding optional mountain bike features and there are sections of tech along with some great flow. The trail connects/leads to the North Ogden divide and into the Coldwater Canyon trail system.

Watch for rattlers ;)

Great trail but my need to check your map to not be led astray by the roads and crossing trails

This is a great trail, with some pretty amazing views. You feel like you are out on the mountain, without having to go too far out. Well maintained and some great trails for mountain bikes.

I always forget to make the trek here, but it is a good jumpoff point to a lot of the Northern Bonneville Shoreline trails.

Easy access to an area with many birds and wildlife with beautiful views of the valley and northern Wasatch. Please be aware this trail is used by hikers, mountain bikers, and horse riders. Please use good trail etiquette, and be respectful of other users.

Cool features for mountain bikes. Pretty rocky but that's not bad. Probably my favorite section of BST from here down to Bountiful

Another great local trail. Not too steep or technical. Provides you with a great view of the Ogden Valley
