The Inn at Yarmouth Port

Staying at the Inn at Yarmouth Port was a little slice of heaven. Every little detail was perfection. Our room was lovely, cozy, inviting, comfortable and just the right amount of spacious. It had modern conveniences while also maintaining a classic, old-world charm. The breakfasts were outstanding, using ingredients straight from the innkeeper’s garden! Whether it was the frittata with her out-of-this-world blueberry muffins, or the French toast with fresh berries and real maple syrup, the meal was equally delicious and beautiful, topped with home-grown edible flowers! Tasty afternoon treats, such as cookies and chocolate cake, were made available as well. The common area was so inviting, boasting a beautiful grand piano. The innkeepers couldn’t have been lovelier or more attentive, and were ready to meet any need we might have. And the inn is conveniently located on Rt. 6A, walkable to restaurants, shops and even a yoga studio! We would return in a heartbeat, and hope to find ourselves back there soon!

We had a delightful stay at the inn. The B&B exceeded our expectations! The home is lovely and well appointed, yet comfortable. Kathleen and her husband Chuck, were so gracious, and Kathleen is the perfect hostess. Our room was spacious and the bed was perfect. The home-made cookies were yummy and the gourmet breakfast delicious! Also, their evening restaurant recommendation was superb. It was a memorable stay.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing time staying at the Inn! Breakfast was SO delicious every morning. Kathleen, Chuck, and their team were very friendly and gave us ideas of places we should visit every day and provided us with beach supplies on nice days. Our room was cozy and very clean, housekeeping left our room spotless each day. We can’t wait to return!

Recently had a week long stay and loved every moment. Kind and friendly staff, beautifully appointed rooms, thoughtful and delicious breakfast! Easy access to all the charm the cape has to offer. I recommend catching a play while you're in the area, check with the owners about any current shows in town. The house, the town, all the surrounding towns....It is a magical place. I am already wishing I could return! Thank you Kathleen, Chuck, & team!

Very nice inn. Kathleen and Chuck are so nice. You feel like family at the Inn. We stayed Sept - 2023 in the Chatam Room. Room was quite nice, cozy, super clean, and bed was sooooo comfortable. Love the shower, glass doors, rain shower head, and super clean everything in bathroom. Nice job housekeeping.

We also met two employees Zach and Madison, nice people and very good and attentive to detail with their work.

Breakfast very good. Homemade blueberry muffins were so good.

We feel like we made two great friends in Kathleen and Chuck. plus the staff.

We highly recommend the Inn at Yarmouthport. Hope to return sometime.

A lovingly restored former captain's house provides a perfect location from which to explore near and far on the Cape. The inn owners and staff are welcoming and down-to-earth. We stayed in the Blue Point Room. Second floor, quiet, and cozy. The bed has to be the most comfortable bed we've slept in on any trip I can recall in the past several years. Firm but with a soft top. The bathroom is snug but functional and well-appointed. The breakfasts were a scrumptious start to the day. Each day was different and equally delicious. (But my favorite is probably the French toast.) The afternoon treats were also a delight. Lovely patio and garden area to sit and have a cup of tea or a glass of wine before dinner. There is a lot of attention paid to making this a welcoming, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay.

I couldn’t imagine a more perfect stay on Cape Cod. The inn and the grounds are immaculate, the beds are comfortable, and food is spectacular (I dream about the Dutch baby pancakes), and the company is first class. Kathleen and Chuck truly made us feel like family, and the rest of the staff were warm and professional. Cannot wait to go back and to send all of my family and friends!

Kathleen and Chuck were wonderful hosts! Prior to our arrival, Kathleen reached out to offer suggestions about where to dine and places to visit. The inn is centrally located and the daily breakfasts and fresh baked goods were amazing! The rooms were beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. We would not hesitate to return if we visit Cape Cod again!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kathy and Chuck and the Inn at Yarmouth Port. They have amazing breakfast each morning, fantastic baked goods each day for you and even an ice cream selection.

We stayed a few nights and Kathy had called and asked why we were coming to stay, I mentioned I was planning to propose and Kathy immediately got excited. Kathy ended up being a huge part of the proposal as she filmed it for us and was so kind, sweet and attentive.

This was a wonderful experience and it really felt like we went from complete strangers to family.

Kathy and Chuck are incredible hosts. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!, Kathy is a incredible chef, the breakfast is amazing and changes daily! Bonus win with the cookies and treats. Chuck really knows his way around the Cape and is a wealth of knowledge. I left feeling like we were friends! Can’t wait to stay again!

Kathy and Chuck do a tremendous job. Obviously, there is no shortage of bed and breakfasts on the Cape, but the Inn at Yarmouthport is truly exceptional. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. The garden is gorgeous. The baked goods are delectable. The breakfast is to die for.

Walkable to several cute stores and wonderful dining options and Kathy and Chuck always go above and beyond to ensure that you are getting the most out of your stay. I cannot recommend the Inn at Yarmouthport enough.

We can’t thank Kathleen and Chuck enough for a wonderful stay. Kathleen was at the inn when we arrived. She took us on a little tour of the property, gave us some background information, and showed us necessary stations such as where the breakfast menu for the next morning was located, the ice cream sandwich /chipwhich freezer, where you’ll pickup your fresh baked goods each afternoon (we had cracked chocolate cookies and pumpkin bread), and where you can get carafes of water. Our room was absolutely spotless and so cute. Kathleen picked flowers from their garden for our room and it smelled lovely. Our room was located facing the main road but we couldn’t hear the sounds of traffic because of how well insulated the rooms are. Breakfast each morning was an absolute treat! The meal was visually beautiful but also extremely delicious (seriously 5 star). Kathleen is an incredible cook and baker. The inn is in a very convenient location to many attractions. Everything about this inn is a dream. We felt so taken care of and welcomed during our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We are counting down the days until we can visit again! We had nothing but wonderful things to say about this Inn! The owners were so friendly and welcoming. Kathleen even baked cookies for everyone each afternoon! The rooms were beautiful and the breakfast served each morning was incredible. They really go above and beyond to make sure you have the best stay possible. It was our first trip to Cape Cod and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. I cannot recommend The Inn at Yarmouth Port enough!

My husband and I visited Cape Cod in late April. We stayed at the Inn at Yarmouth Port for two nights, and were delighted with every detail. The hosts, Kathleen and Chuck, were kind and engaging. Our room was warm and inviting (we stayed in the Salt Pond room). The feel of the place is every kind of welcoming, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Edward Gorey House is a nearby entertainment, as is the Parnassus Bookstore--both within easy walking distance, and a treat for nerds like us. The location was also an easy day trip to other interesting areas (Provincetown for whale watching, Martha's Vineyard). The breakfasts were delicious and the perfect start to the day. Definitely a highlight of our time in Cape Cod.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Kathleen, Chuck, and their beautiful inn! We’ve now stayed twice (in September 2021 and June 2022) and have booked ahead for a third stay for the end of this year. So, we are HUGE fans!!

The Inn at Yarmouth Port is special because you feel at home from the moment you walk in the door. The decor is elegant and elevated while still being incredibly comfortable and welcoming. Kathleen plans her exquisite breakfasts with diligence, expertise and care and I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever had better French toast. She also makes complimentary fresh baked goods that are out of this world and that you get every afternoon. Yes, that is correct—mind blowing cookies or breads every afternoon that you stay. From the beautiful gardens, to the newly renovated rooms, to the kind and incredible innkeepers and staff, this place is just the best.

We honestly won’t ever stay anywhere else. This incredible inn keeps winning big-time awards like best B&B on the Cape, and it’s for a reason. We love The Inn at Yarmouth Port!

Awesome inn keepers, Kathleen and Chuck! They make you feel right at home. Beds are so comfy, scrumptious hot breakfast cooked every morning. Every detail thought out to make your stay perfectly relaxing. Such a great B & B find for our early spring getaway.

This was by far the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. The inn itself is very historic with just the right amount of updates. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of their well manicured garden. Our hosts Kathleen and Chuck be were so friendly and helpful! Kathleen is a skilled chef and we had beautiful breakfasts every morning, not to mention a plethora of baked goods every day! We were celebrating our anniversary while there, and they surprised us with a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers for our room. We also loved that Kathleen packed our yummy breakfast to-go one morning when we had to be on the ferry to Nantucket early! It’s a beautiful location close to everything you could want to do in Cape Cod. We will be back!

We stayed at the Inn at Yarmouth Port for 3 nights. The location was perfect for restaurants and for our wedding event happening nearby. The room was very comfortable with a king size bed and with an updated bathroom. Each morning we were treated with a delicious huge breakfast. In the afternoons, Kathleen baked scrumptious goodies (some of which I brought home!) Kathleen, her husband Chuck and all the staff were very warm and genuine people who made us feel right at home. I highly recommend The Inn!

Wow what a terrific place! Kathleen and Chuck are the perfect hosts. They have put so much time and energy into creating a peaceful experience for their guests and it shows.

A few highlights I’d like to mention:

- the food is AMAZING. Kathleen is a superb chef and takes great individual care of all of her guests. She was proactive in making sure all of her food was customized to my dietary restrictions, which was greatly appreciated.

- the service is top notch. We told our waitress one morning that we planned to go to the beach that day. By the time we finished breakfast, she had packed up two beach chairs and a bag with towels, waters and snacks for us. She even put all of it out by our car so we could easily bring it for our beach trip!

- the local connections and recommendations were excellent and added to our experience in Yarmouth. Chuck and Kathleen are super plugged in to their community and were able to advise us on the best places to eat around town, as well as a few pretty areas to walk and enjoy the nice weather.

- the baked goods are excellent. Each day we were greeted with small, cute homemade baked goods. Banana bread and ginger cookies were the best ones in our opinion.

- finally, the rooms are beautifully renovated. They did such a good job maintaining the character of the original house while providing modern day quality and amenities.

10/10 would stay here again!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to spend a full week at this beautiful Inn. Our hosts, Kathleen and Chuck (as well as the rest of the staff) went the extra mile to make sure we had the perfect getaway! The freshly made breakfasts every morning were excellent (they served mostly local products), the location was perfect and the grounds were beautiful (loved all the flowers). The rooms were also recently renovated :) if you're searching for a couple's retreat in Cape Cod, look no further!
