Nauset Lighthouse

Beautiful view of the coast. This iconic lighthouse was not open for inside viewing as we were there off-season (Feb).

Beautiful beaches with many trails. The lighthouse path was easy to walk on. Some construction was being completed but easily avoided. Parking close to the lighthouse.

The Cape Cod chips light house! Lol but in all seriousness, this was a pretty chill spot to walk around. It's free to go up to the light house and take pics (at least it was when my wife and I went on our honeymoon.) The beach across the street is a sight to behold too, especially if you are able to see some seals, or maybe even a great white up near the shore!

Absolutely beautiful! Some neat little history here. I recommend reading it all then go down to the beach and find the old foundations that the erosion has destroyed.

Beautiful lighthouse you can see in the park with easy parking right next to the site. There is also access to the beach and nice public restrooms. Definitely a decent place to visit if you want to go to the beach or see some history about the lighthouse. Also easy to get to the three sisters lighthouses if you want to see them.

Superb! A little information, light, but super accessible and very interesting. The lighthouse wasn’t quite as big as I expected, but it was really good. The beach is one of the best I visited on Cape Cod. I also was shocked at how clean and nice the bathrooms were here. It seems strange to put that in a review, but they were arguably cleaner than any public place!! I recommend going. five stars.!

If you're traveling to Boston and have a couple of hours to spare this is definitely a nice drive along the coastline up towards the tip of Cape Cod. This area's got lots of really nice beaches and I had no idea of just how many great beaches were in the Boston area as I've never been to Boston before from Toronto. I was quite impressed with this entire area though and I definitely would recommend people vacationing down to the US to try to put this on their list of must see places. . If you do go see some of these lighthouses you can actually climb up inside a lot of them but the schedules are quite inconsistent and some lighthouses only have it twice a week as they are operated by volunteers for the tours. When I was there they had only tours on Wednesday and Friday.
Definitely some neat history around there as far as lighthouses go. I think one of them was even commissioned by George Washington.

Beautiful lighthouse!! The history is awesome and the sand cliff was breathtaking!! We got to watch wild seals from the cliff too!!

Ages of our kids -- 18, 18, 17, 16, 13, 10, 7, 7.

They were all able to keep up and all enjoyed their time.

The Iconic lighthouse that everyone thinks of for Cape Cod. It's the light on the front of a Cape Cod chips bag. Tours are very limited, so check before you go if you're interested in going inside. Not sure of a cost as we didn't go in. Plenty of signage explaining the history of Cape Cod lights as well as how this light got moved to its current location.

I got lucky and arrived on a day that had a free tour! The volunteers were very kind and, even though I was late in the day and they probably heard my questions many times already, answered the questions with as much enthusiasm as if I was the first person to ask ☺

Awesome free history! I was glad my family and I was able to visit the light house for free and go to the top. The kids loved it and the wait was only 15mins. Definitely worth the trip when it is open.

We visited this light while on Cape Cod and were actually able to climb the light. They have varying hours so check in advance. The nonprofit running the light is working to preserve it and they are a wealth of knowledge. This is the light on the Cape Cod potato chip bag so it’s easily recognizable.

On a Thursday at 12:30 when we visited this lighthouse, we did not attempt to go inside. There is ample parking area with restrooms nearby and a view of the water.

Famous Cape Cod lighthouse is worth the visit. Located on the Cape Cod National Park, it is easy to visit. A short walk from the parking lot. Visit the Three Sisters Watchhouses here too. A quick perspective on the history on the Cape Cod shore.😊

Very well maintained light house that you can walk right up to. Signs contain a detailed history of the lighthouse. The view off the coast is very pretty. If you are with a bus tour tell the driver not to go far into the parking lot. The turn is almost too tight to get through!!

It is easily accessible and plenty of parking. Short walk to the lighthouse.

Mystery solved! This is the lighthouse on the bag of Cape Cod potato chips!

The lighthouse is right by Nauset beach where there are restrooms. And the Three Sister lighthouses is very close by within walking distance. Parking was plentiful and free when I visited in mid October.

There are free tours on certain days of the week/year for you to climb up into the lighthouse and learn about the history. If you could, definitely take the opportunity to do so. Learning about the history of the lighthouse was very intetesting. All workers are volunteers so donations are highly recommended.

This was actually one of my favorite stops on the cape.
