Inn on Main

Lovely, immaculate, pet friendly bnb in a great location with wonderful hosts! I read all of the positive reviews before booking, and was happy to find that they were spot on! The breakfast, 5 stars, the bed, 5 stars, attention to detail, 5 stars. I booked the inn because of its pet policy, but would recommend to anyone looking for a quality stay on the cape.

Sarah and Chris were fantastic. They really do make you feel like welcome guests into their home. The small details were all paid attention to! Breakfast was fantastic, and we cannot wait for a return trip. Home is very well appointed, very well cared for, and very comfortable. The area is very special, lots to see and do!

We loved every minute of staying at the Inn on Main. Sarah and Chris are gracious hosts and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Crocker, and let's not forget Sophie, are the best! Our room was lovely and I can't say enough nice the about the outdoor space. As if that wasn't enough, breakfast was absolutely delicious and served with great attention to detail. And how could I forget to mention that Chris will randomly play the piano or one of the other numerous musical instruments in the front room. We can't wait to return. Many thanks!

We stayed one night at the Inn on the Main. Our room was very nice and clean, with an updated bathroom. Every detail was thought through and Sarah and Chris were perfect hosts. The breakfast was excellent. We had a great time and will definitely come back. Highly recommend staying there!

Sarah and Chris were excellent hosts from the minute we arrived. The Inn was beautiful, clean, and every detail seemed to be taken care of from refreshments, extra toiletries, and a very well behaved pup, Crocker was the icing on the cake. I would suggest making it a point to stick around for breakfast as everything they made was delicious. It is located within a 10 minute drive to many beaches, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and anything else you would want to do. We arrived late one of the nights and I did not know the code to get inside (my fault) but Chris woke up and let us in without any issue. Their restaurant and beach suggestions were spot on as they were knowledgeable on the area. True hospitality every step of the way. Perfect place to stay for a couple who wants a quiet and relaxing trip to Cape Cod.

We had an amazing stay from when we first walked in the door and met the end keepers, Sara and Chris and their dog Crocker. Sara met us and immediately provided us with everything we could possibly need to stay at her and she opened up the drawer to show us the if you forgot some thing draw, which had everything in it that you could possibly ask for we had an amazing breakfast the next morning And loved spending time with the dogs if you need a nice place to stay at the Cape, this is it!

This was the quintessential Bed and Breakfast on Cape Bod. Chris and Sarah were attentive, friendly, and kind. They sent us on a gorgeous walk through the neighborhood and made recommendations for local restaurants. The little details throughout the inn speak volumes for the effort they put in to make your stay as lovely as possible. Then Chris' panini the next morning was incredible. I hope to be staying here again soon.

The Inn on Main is a wonderful retreat in Yarmouthport. This antique gem has been lovingly restored and beautifully decorated, not to mention spotless. Sarah and Chris are wonderful! They are warm and welcoming. They really think of everything from forgotten toiletries, fully stocked hot/cold beverage station, daily baked goods...just terrific. There was plenty of space for my daughter and I in the Yarmouth room. Gorgeous decor and comfortable king sized bed. Being on 6A, road noise might be an issue, but there are ways to work around that if it bothers you. Speaking of 6A, I really like being on this side of the Cape. There are some great spots to visit on foot from the inn and it's a great place to launch. Breakfast was always delicious, artfully presented and very filling. Crocker, the family dog, was the sweetest, so well mannered and always a joy to see. I am looking forward to my next visit to Cape Cod and hope there is a place for me at the Inn on Main. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay with our two dogs at the inn it definitely exceeded our expectations! Chris and Sarah were wonderful hosts and the room was so clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and we really appreciated the delicious vegan options! Our dogs also had a great time hanging out with all the other pups. We can't wait to stay at the inn again.

We stayed at the Inn on Main for the Memorial Day weekend and couldn’t recommend it enough. Sarah and Chris are lovely hosts. Everything at the inn is so well thought out and planned. They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast is a definite hit and there’s always a different spread. Crocker is a delight to have around. Sarah and Chris can write the book on Innkeeping! It is our go to place to stay when visiting family nearby. Chris is an incredible breakfast chef! All the reviews are not exaggerating. Crocker is a wonderful doggie host. The location is a central jumping off point for activities on the Cape. We are looking forward to our stay over the holidays, so is our pup Chloe.

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and absolutely loved it! Everything from A to Z was phenomenal and the owners are incredibly gracious and welcoming. Exceeded all of our expectations. One of the best bed & breakfasts we have ever stayed at.

We stayed at Inn on Main in Aug 2022 and loved every minute of it, so much so we extended our stay for an additional night! Sarah & Chris were so welcoming and cooked up a delicious breakfast each morning. Not to mention the lovely welcome from Crocker :-P It really is a hidden gem and we're returning again in Sept 2023, this time with the inlaws, looking forward to it already!

Sarah and Chris could not have been more gracious hosts, and truly made my wife and feel completely at 'home' at their B&B. From the amazingly fresh breakfast, to the well appointed space inside and out, and spot on local recommendations for dinners, perfect sunsets and quiet beaches. It was a excellent inn for us to celebrate our anniversary, complete with some special unexpected extra treats from the hosts to put the cherry on top of our stay. Highly recommend a stay at the Inn on Main, and will most certainly keep it at the top of the list until we find our 'forever' cape home!

The Inn on Main oozes charm! Everything from the many cozy seating areas inside, to the beautifully landscaped patio and backyard, make us want to return at all different times of the year. While we didn't bring our dog this time, we look forward to bringing her with us next time and enjoying the spacious backyard where we could the throw the ball for her. And did I mention the incredible breakfasts?! This place is a real jem!

Sarah and Cris are awesome hosts. The B&B is amazing and we had a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was great and they have the best well trained dog name Crocker. I love how he peaks out the door from the private residence to see what is happening. He does not come out until invited. I highly recommend this place when staying at Cape Cod!

We stayed here in the off-season, and had a great visit. The inn is clean and well-kept, beds are comfy, and we appreciated that all the rooms are dog friendly. Chris and Sarah were friendly and made us feel at home.

This isn't just a stay, it's an experience!

Sarah, Chris, and Crocker give 5-star service! Sarah's warm and welcoming personality makes you feel like she's known you forever. Chris' cooking - just wow! The flavors are far better than any restaurant breakfast I had (plus, he makes sure you are fueled up for any adventure you're having that day). And Crocker is so well-behaved and made us laugh when he came to greet us (peeking his head out the door).

In addition to these amazing qualities, the inn is spotless, comfortable, in a great spot, and gives an air of relaxation.

Seriously the best place to stay! Chris and Sarah go above and beyond for their guests to become friends. A beautiful location, top notch recommendations for attractions, restaurants and beaches, and the best breakfast! Seriously, Chris, your skills in the kitchen are stellar! While the Inn itself if beautiful, comfortable, and historic, it’s Chris and Sarah that make it home! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!

Absolutely amazing - definitely the best place to stay on Cape Cod and the loveliest hospitality experience in all our travels. Chris, Sarah, and Crocker are beyond the perfect hosts and made us feel like family. The inn itself is from the 1700s and is extremely clean and comfortable. We booked for 2 days but ended up staying a week - we were so sad to leave! Will be recommending to all our friends and family. Thank you Chris and Sarah, see you soon!!
