Nicole Kittelson: Allstate Insurance

My Allstate agents are like family. We have been through many changes and many years. Nicole and her Allstate team always come through whatever I need or whatever I go through. Kudos!

Our experience with all state and Nicole Kittelson has been awesome since day one. Having moved from Chicago and being new home owners Nicole went above and beyond to make sure we have the best coverage for our home and auto. She’s the best!!

Nicole answered my call on a Saturday after being involved in a hit & run. She helped me evaluate my options, get a rental and even helped me obtain a lower deducible than expected! She's great.

This company is very knowledgeable, extremely helpful I would recommend them to anyone for their service.

Nicole is the best. Very responsive and always working with you to make sure all of your needs are covered.

Nicole is not very available these days. Delegation can be a dangerous game. never forget "who brung you to the Dance" there have been changes for Veterans in the insurance world but I have not heard from you on those changes!

Had a homeowner's claim they did nothing to inform me about any of the situation going on. I had to contact corporate and then when corporate got back to me they were extremely rude And offered to repair my roof for $700 for $700 I told them that wouldn't even buy a shingle and for them to consider paying more about 3 weeks later I received a check in the mail For $700 what a complete insult! at that time I turned it over to my roofing claims agent so they could deal with the situation I found it very unprofessional that allstate who I've been with for over 20 years could not even take the time to call me about any of this Paul royco who used to own this firm was amazing I miss him. After 2mo of aggravation allstate finally replaced my entire roof. Imagine me cashing that $700 dollar check to only find out the roof costs over $10000 to fix they expected me the homeowner to just pay out of my pocket.

I would post zero if I could ... 6+ years with them and never a claim on our home and our premium went up 1500 automatically because of online billing and renewal. (We signed up for everything online to save money) Called the office and they try to justify it as cost of material went up and we should look at our deductible. So we find another insurance company that is honest and decided to move with them for more coverage and paying 1500 less a year. Cancelled our policies home and cars on Jan 4th with email confirmation. Today, 2.28.22, we get a collection letter saying that our policy was not paid. No one ever called us trying to collect a payment or emailed us. Just unprofessional and ridiculous at this point because we always paid on time. Called the office and after they hang up on me 10 times, I used another line and waited 40 minutes. Angela, answers and wants my social security after verify a bunch of information's which I don't want to give her over the phone and give her account number .... she talks over by telling that is the procedure. I get aggravated just trying to make a payment and I ask for someone else, apparently no one else .... I make the payment and she is totally rude at this point. She still feel entitled not to provide me with a bill or receipt, just a confirmation. I will never forget the incompetence demostrated. They should not be in business in our opinion.

I cancelled all of my home, auto and motorcycle policies with Allstate in June of 2021 because of complete frustration of lack of competency for the Niclole Kittelson Agency. I didn't write a review at that time and should have since the incompetency has continued to plague me. Now I am providing the review because when I cancelled the policies I specifically told them to keep my Allstate Motor Club in force. This is because told Allstate Motor Club is a separate subsidiary of Allstate and anyone can use Allstate Motor Club without having any other Allstate insurance.

Upon checking why I have not received a bill from the Allstate Motor Club in the month of May of this year I find that the Nicole Kittelson Agency cancelled my insurance according to Allstate Motor Club in October of 2021. The Nicole Kittelson Agency claims they cancelled it in June of 2021. Who knows what really happened. Allstate never sent me a cancellation and the Nicole Kittelson agency had no right to cancel it as I told them specifically not to do so. Anyway I have been driving and riding my motorcycles without this coverage for most of the year because of the Nicole Kittelson Agency cancelling the policy that I told them specifically not to cancel. Thankfully I never broke down for need of the insurance. But it could have been very costly and who knows how that would have turned out.

Allstate should have also sent me a mail copy of the cancellation which they did not do. Allstate and the Nicole Kittelson Agency deserve each other as they are both bad. For whatever it is worth my original agent was Paul who was great but when he retired I ended up with Nicole Kittelson, yuck.

It is my understanding from Allstate that if you change agents the next Allstate agent doesn't receive any monies for you being a client unless you purchase more insurance. So if you have a large number of insured interests the next agent in my opinion really doesn't want you as a client as the former agent continues to get paid for all of your original policies.

Allstate is culpable in keeping you from changing agents as the next agent gets paid nothing unless you increase your account size. Allstate as a company and the Nicole Kittelson Agency was one big disaster for me.

If your going to use allstate find a different office. Nicole and her team took over from paul. Since then my frustration with that office was beyond unprofessional. Beyond policy over policy double digit increases there was adot issues where a local office should understand what documentation is needed. My final straw was cancellation of my policy. After both written and verbal communication to not renew i was charged anyway. After getting that reversed i started getting threating demands for payment. If your reading this as a customer find a different office. If your part of the office or allstate, you should be under investigation for fraud.

I removed a vehicle that was sold within days the vehicle was involved in an at fault accident mind you I had cancelled my policy on that particular vehicle days before I have no idea how the other party got ahold of my insurance ALLSTATE dropped the ball and accepted the claim after a month or so it was denied it has since stayed on my record that I have had a claim on my account resulting in higher premium please look for other company these people are a joke
