This place is truly a hidden gem. Property was absolutely gorgeous. Room was clean and very cozy. The amenities were nice and easy to use. We especially loved the sauna! The breakfast is a three course meal. They accommodated nicely to dietary restrictions. The food was sooo delicious. We felt spoiled the whole time. The owners were very friendly and gave us great recommendations. They had beach chairs for us to use which was helpful! Very close to a few beaches. Will be coming back for sure!

I have been going to the Whalewalk Inn for over 10 years and it has been uniformly wonderful. Christina and Steve are warm, friendly, and hospitable and remember each of their guests’ preferences. The Inn itself is charming, clean and peaceful. The grounds are beautifully kept, the resistance pool and fitness area are great when the weather is rainy, and the food is fabulous! Their breakfasts are not to be missed, with exquisite fruit, delicious muffins, and wonderful main courses. The rooms are all spacious, spotlessly clean, and charmingly decorated. I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else on the Cape. It is also conveniently located near the Orleans Rotary, and near a lovely, peaceful beach called Boat Meadow.

This is one of the nicest places to stay on all of Cape Cod.
The property is beautiful and well maintained. The owners and staff are good people. They work hard and do an unbelievable job. The rooms are really nice, and they are spotless. These are the cleanest rooms we have ever seen. The all included breakfast is the best on the Cape by far. And Christina makes the most amazing bacon to be found anywhere. Top notch owner and chef.
Don’t waste your time searching for hours online. This is the place you’re looking for. Minutes from some really nice beaches, including Nauset.
When you go there, make a point of getting to know the other owner Stephen. You will not regret it. One of the nicest people walking around on the planet right now.

We greatly enjoyed our 3-night stay at this family-run inn. Christina and Steve were very welcoming owners, and interesting to talk to. It was a convivial and friendly atmosphere in the inn, with some guests striking up conversations with other guests over breakfast, but there was also plenty of space and privacy so no sense of this being intrusive. It's just outside Orleans town, but only a very short drive from the restaurants etc of Orleans, and I assume all visitors are coming with cars and are prepared to drive a very short way (less than 10 mins) to dinner. Given the tranquility of the location, the nice gardens (and great star-gazing), it certainly felt like a good trade off to us versus being in a downtown area.
We were in the Rose room, which was one of their standard rooms (as in, not a deluxe/upgraded room) and even though that was the lowest tier price-wise, we found it really charming, and not too small at all. It was in the main building, which we really liked (although the other rooms/cabins dotted over the grounds were no doubt just as pleasant, and might have had their own advantages from extra space or privacy, so to each their own!). Decoration throughout the inn was quaint and whale-themed. We had absolutely no problems with hearing any neighboring rooms, and found it very peaceful; walls must be very thick. The only thing I would note was that the minifridge in our room (a really nice amenity) did hum more noticeably at night, and since alas I'm very sensitive to noise when trying to sleep, I did end up using my earplugs for this! This wasn't a flaw, but just something I'll mention for other guests who might want to make similar provisions!
We appreciated Christina's recs for dinner (we LOVED Land Ho), and the breakfasts were, as everyone has commented, a delight. Housekeeping was noticeably good (very thorough, very quick--much better than I've experienced in many hotels).
One of the nicest things was that I had alerted them in advance that it was my fiance's birthday, and they left a little box of local artisan chocolates in the room with a birthday note on arrival. This made him so happy, which made me so happy! It was a very nice touch which really felt in keeping with the warm atmosphere of this family establishment. We would very warmly recommend them to anyone looking for a base for their upcoming trip!

We had a wonderful stay at the Whale Walk! The Inn is in a great location— right off route 6 in Eastham. It allowed us access to many close by and beautiful beaches.

The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The property was stunning. Beautifully landscaped with lots of space to relax and take in the views.

The breakfast the next morning was perfect. We sat outside on the beautiful patio and enjoyed coffee, fruit, muffins and waffles. I am gluten and dairy free and they were able to accommodate both! I was shocked. I don’t normally even ask when I’m traveling and expect to be on my own.

We would highly recommend a stay here !

We were here for our wedding anniversary and it was the perfect stay! The grounds are perfectly cared for and the area is quiet and serene, the room was comfortable, clean and welcoming and it had this old cottage vibe that we really enjoyed.
The breakfast was plentiful and made with care and love and the owners come in every morning to check in and chat! If you have time or don't want to skip your gym workouts, they have a fitness area that's well equipped including a lap pool, a hot tub and a sauna!

Picturesque, relaxing, welcoming, friendly, charming. Just a few words to describe our stay at Whalewalk Inn and Spa. Upon arrival we were welcomed and given a detailed tour of the room and the spa building including instructions on the use of the sauna, pool, hot tub and TV. Our host also took us through the available room binder which gave detailed instructions on the use of the amenities in the room and also listed local restaurants, shopping and excursions.
Our room, actually our cottage, was impeccably clean and well decorated. All the linen appeared new and of excellent quality.
To say the breakfast each morning was a gastronomical delight would be an understatement. We anxiously anticipated what morning surprise awaited us. From an impeccably created zucchini bread to perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs served on avocado ciabatta toast, we devoured every bite.
Our hosts were friendly, informative, patient and accommodating. We will most certainly be returning for another early fall getaway at the Whalewalk Inn. I highly recommend you do too!

A friend and I have been coming to the Whalewalk Inn for many many years (since 2008) fir an annual Cape Cod getaway. The breakfast offered daily is always delicious and comes with sincere service on the side. The location makes it so easy to enjoy all the Cape has to offer. We have favorite nearby shops that we return to each year and enjoy exploring a new town or area each visit as well.
The rooms are comfortable and stylishly decorated. Our suite has a kitchenette so we can stay in and binge watch something on Netflix in front of the fireplace. The heat and air conditioning are newly installed and work well so we are always comfortable. Premium bath products, fluffy towels and our unusual corner shower complete our home away from home. We’ve just gotten back from this years trip and are looking forward to next year!

The staff welcomed us immediately upon our arrival and gave us a quick tour of the buildings and grounds. The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfasts were superb. Everyone went out of their way to be accommodating and to promptly meet our few special needs and requests. And the hot tub…. Location is fantastic. Its a very quick drive to a nice beach where we caught a gorgeous sunset our first night there. And not too far to Nauset beach for a spectacular sunrise the next morning.
Great job. Thank you. We will be back.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Christina one of the owners.
Who gave us a complete tour of the property and it's amenities.Christina and her husband Steve, were exceptional hosts, attending to every need. Not to mention the delicious freshly prepared breakfast daily, that was included in our stay. Outstanding service was given by family staff, and Michael. And the accommodations were very, comfortable and welcoming.
This will be our go to place each visit to Cape Cod !

I was here on my honeymoon and loved my stay. Flawlessly clean space, new and fresh linens, excellent housekeeping service and best of all the three course breakfast. Fresh fruit and berries daily, and the zucchini bread was some of the best I've ever had. We were waited on with great care and attention to detail throughout our stay. They even provide beach chairs and towels you can take out to the local shore. My husband and I are already talking about coming back on a future anniversary!

This inn is in a quiet, relaxing, impeccably kept residential neighborhood. The grounds of the inn itself are immaculate and lush and every corner has been given attention. The reception area is warm and inviting and the staff emulate hospitality like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. Our room was clean, bright and exceptionally welcoming. The breakfast served each morning was extremely fulfilling with the most attentive and polite service. The entire experience was amazing and even though we went to visit the Cape for many reasons I would go back just to stay at this inn for a relaxing extended weekend.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay here. The photos don’t do it justice: the room, building and property were all charming. The complimentary breakfasts were some of the best meals of our stay (better than some of the 5 star rated restaurants we tried). The staff were knowledgeable and happy to share their recommendations and tips. We would be thrilled to stay here again!

My friends and I came looking for a relaxing stay in Cape Cod at the end of a long road trip. When we arrived to the beautiful Whalewalk Inn, we were greeted with some of the kindest and best service I‘ve experienced. Every person here was so incredibly helpful, no matter what request- big or small.

Because of COVID 19, maid service isn’t coming into the rooms during your stay- to compensate for this, where most hotels typically permit you to ask them for what you want, the Whalewalk anticipates what you might need and makes sure you have it before you run out! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were a priority of every employee here. They have been incredibly kind and helpful, and I cannot recommend it more highly.

Also, the breakfast is amazing!!!! They do probably the best scone I’d ever had, and were great about meeting dietary restrictions. Further still, the grounds themselves are quiet and peaceful. I’d recommend checking out the pool in the fitness room- it was a pleasantly fun surprise!

All in all, I will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

I am a bit delayed in leaving my review, as we stayed in early August. We absolutely loved the Whalewalk Inn! We did not want to leave. The Inn is luxurious and elegant without being pretentious or stuffy, and we felt spoiled, even with the spa being closed due to COVID. All of the buildings and grounds are just beautiful!
The owners, Christina and Steve, are so nice and helpful. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and a personal tour of the buildings and grounds and facilities. They were present and available in the main Inn when needed. (Which was a 30 second walk away...none of the buildings are far from each other). Our texts were always replied to quickly. They are being super careful about COVID with all precautions in place and masks required.
We stayed in Carriage House 6, and it was lovely, full of light, spotlessly clean, spacious, romantic, beautifully appointed, and so cozy and comfortable! The bathroom was huge and we loved our double whirlpool tub! There was even an LED candle provided to make baths more cozy.
The gourmet breakfasts were to die for...absolutely scrumptious and completely homemade. Christina went above and beyond to accommodate my extensive dietary restrictions, creating exceptionally delicious homemade, gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free breakfasts for me. My husband's breakfasts were exceptional as well (no dietary restrictions for him). We both agreed she is an outstanding cook! And the presentation was lovely, from the entrees to the baked goods to the fruit, which was clearly so fresh, and high quality. We had breakfast on our balcony due to COVID (although both the indoor and outdoor dining areas looked lovely), and our breakfasts were carefully packaged and still fresh and warm, including the coffee, and the juice nice and cold. Christina prepared our breakfast for us to pick up when we texted her, so that they would be freshly made.
We didn't use the pool or gym, but they looked very nice and clean. The location of this Inn is very nice...it is on a lovely road and feels very secluded, but is close to beaches and restaurants and such. It borders Orleans, so access to Orleans and Chatham was very convenient as well as Eastham and Wellfleet.
I really miss the Whalewalk Inn and think of it often! We talk about when we might return, and will definitely be visiting again, hopefully periodically. Thank you so much Christina and Steve!

We had a great stay at the Whalewalk Inn. It is in a really nice quiet area and is centrally located on the Cape for heading out to explore other areas. Our room in the Carriage House was spacious and nicely equipped. Breakfast was excellent. Only negative is that we did not stay long enough. Looking forward to another visit.

My mother, sister and I stayed at the Whalewalk Inn for 2 nights. It was amazing - we were greeting upon arrival by the owner, who gave us a tour of the property and the facilities. Our room was beautifully decorated and so cozy. The TV and AC were greatly appreciated during a quick t-storm. Additionally, it is a great location as we were able to access all the beaches as well as two great restaurants in the area.

The breakfasts are 5 star, and they were so accommodating to my sister's dietary restrictions (the owner made vegan pancakes AND vegan muffins).

Everyone on the property is so kind and happy. We truly felt like family.

Also- my sister treated herself to a massage and came back so relaxed. Would highly recommend the sauna or hot tub after a long day!

Overall a great, unique and personalized stay. Will definitely be staying here in the future.

My husband and I had the most magical weekend getaway here. The pictures do not do justice to how lovely the rooms are. Everything you need is there. Christiana and Steve were the most amazing hosts. The location is perfect for the beach (5 minute drive to the most beautiful beach I’ve ever been on) and the town to shop and eat.

The breakfast is superb. You can taste the care and attention that goes into making it. The fruit was fresh and sweet, the courses were beautifully presented and exceptionally delicious. I will never stay anyplace else in Cape Cod and we will be back for many more romantic and relaxing getaways.

Where oh where do I begin? You pull up to an impeccable compound with supreme beauty Aesthetically… the host is an absolute doll! She is welcoming and warm! She gave a tour of the grounds and room and was so easy to speak to. It was quiet and the beds were really comfortable. There is a lap pool sauna and hot tub in the exercise room. The breakfast was amazing and made with such care and love. I highly recommend this B&B. So many things to do as well such as taking the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard and whale watching along with many amazing restaurants!!
