Inn on the Beach

This is our third year staying at Inn on the Beach. The owners are so wonderful and accomodating your every need. They are just a text away if you need anything. They greeted us every day and spent time chatting about the Cape and their Inn.
We met so many lovely people from all over the US and beyond. The morning Continental Breakfast and the evenings by the firepits made it so easy to make new friends.
Each day we looked forward to the great coffee and breakfast items. There was adequate seating indoors and out for just relaxing and enjoying the views of the ocean, sunsets, and waves.
They setup chairs and umbrellas on the beach early so everything was ready for us to use. Towels were readily avaible. The downstairs area provided hot beverages you could make as you desired and we even used the microwave to reheat pizza and sandwiches.
The rooms were very clean and spacious and provided a large walk in shower, hair dryer, and plenty of towels. We fit a large number of cold beverages in the mini fridge which was so convenient when you wanted something at the beach area. There was always plenty of ice and easily accessible to us.
Parking was close and easy. The Inn is close to downtown Harwich so we took several walks into town to shop, grab pizza, coffees, or just walk the beautiful side streets.
There are plenty of great seafood restaurants nearby and we were only 25 minutes from Chatham. Very central to have many things to do.
We love this place so much we will definitely return!

Great place for a couples getaway. Just a few steps to the sand and within walking distance to the main strip. Ideal for a couples getaway, as the rooms are a bit small for more than two adults, but they are very clean and modern looking.

Couldn't have had a more positive experience at Inn on the Beach! I visited with a friend for 2 nights in May and, although the weather was unseasonably cold, we had an absolutely beautiful time. Gorgeous beach with private access, wonderful breakfast spread, incredibly friendly staff. The room itself was cozy and very clean. Very walkable to several nearby restaurants and shops in Harwich Port. I will be coming back to Cape Cod and will most definitely be staying at Inn on the Beach again.

Inn on the Beach is the absolutely perfect vacation spot. We stayed in a charming room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Breathtakingly beautiful view. Owners were very friendly, offering great suggestions for restaurants and places to see. Perfect balance between a hotel and an Airbnb. Everything was immaculately clean. Dining area for continental breakfast was nicely decorated and the selection and amount of food was just right. It was also the perfect distance from RI airport and all the areas to explore in Cape Cod. Easy access to ferry to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Highly recommend Inn on the Beach. If we could give it seven stars we would!

Absolutely love this place! The hotel is so quaint and feels like a home more than a hotel. The service is always great! This is our second time visiting and I believe it’s the best place I’ve ever stayed. The location is perfect as well

Incredible find for off season stay on Cape Cod.
Recent total renovation, immaculately clean, well appointed. Light breakfast included in price. Free parking. Best of all was the location on Nantucket sound, lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels provided. Lovely patio with seating and gas burners for cozy nights!
I cannot say enough good things about both the facility and staff.
Special thanks to Keeley who pleasantly greeted us on arrival and departure, and Emily, who went above and beyond the call of duty to help my husband find his school ring we thought he lost in the sand. Emily brought a metal detector and along with other guests, started to search, dig and scan for the ring. We gave up, but Emily promised to return and continue. At lunch we found the ring in his back pocket! I immediately called Emily and reached her as she was about to return to the search! We happily tipped Emily, thanking her for her stellar response.

We're do I start. What a great location. We had a late check-in, so we got there in the dark. But I called Leslie and explained to her, and she texted me all the information, and we were all set. I introduced myself the next morning at breakfast, and Peter gave us the tour . The breakfast was awesome, from coffee cake and coffee to juice ,fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, doughnuts, and cereal. Great job on breakfast, in my opinion, perfect . During our stay there weren't many shops open but that's ok . Great views and such an awesome place to stay . If you're in need of some downtime, then this might just be your place to stay for a few days. Thank you for a great stay .

Not sure where to even begin. This place was exactly what my husband and I were looking for for our 10 year wedding anniversary get away. We spent the week here in the Beach House and it was paradise. Our own patio, steps onto the beach with a breathtaking view was just what the doctor ordered. We were greeted warmly and brought to our room upon arrival and were on the beach lounging within minutes.

The owner, Peter, was always around working on something! It is super clear he loves what he does and cares deeply about his guests. He gave us some great recommendations for eateries (devils purse brewery being my favorite!) and always was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to.

Each morning from 8-10 they serve a nice continental breakfast. My husband and I were go each morning, eat and then take a nice long walk on the beach with our coffee.

The private beach already has chairs and umbrellas so no need to bring your own, they set them up each morning and take them down each evening.

The inn is also within walking distance to many great shops/restaurants. We went to many of them! The kite shop was super cool and we were able to grab souvenirs for the littles back home. After dinner, come back to the inn for a fire on the patio!

I very much hope to return here. I am so thankful we found this and splurged for the beach house room!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming and quaint inn. Our room was lovely and the private beach is unbelievable. The breakfast room was simple yet beachy-elegant and it’s a short walk into town. We’re already planning our return visit!

An easily accessable hotel, closely located to a small but nice, quiet beach and town. Small but well supplied, modern rooms. Great bed! Restful sleep. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Very clean.

Friendly and easy check in. All rooms are keyless which makes things easy. Great location, private beach and short walk to Main St. Harwich.

We booked the majority of rooms at the Inn in the Beach for a wedding weekend. The rooms were unique, clean, beautiful and well decorated.
The continental breakfast was very good and Stephanie and Karla were very accommodating and extremely friendly. The outside deck with comfy couches, chair's and fire pits were a great place to gather, talk and party.
The view is a million dollar view. I would highly recommend this for a getaway week, weekend or family gathering.

We just wanted a quick getaway to celebrate my birthday and my husband came across Inn On The Beach on the Internet. We had a very pleasant time relaxing and were able to get up early to see the sunrise. Stephanie was super pleasant to talk to and she made sure our stay was special. Great recommendations for local dining. The continental breakfast was certainly adequate to get you started. However if you are an early morning coffee drinker and can't wait for the 8 am breakfast be prepared to take a quick walk or short drive for coffee.
We were blessed with great weather even though it is "off season". Best thing is waking up and being on the beach in seconds, down by the waters edge in minutes.

Only place we stay on The Cape, been going here for years. Love it

We enjoyed our three day stay at the Inn and found it a good midpoint from which to explore the entire Cape with ease. The room was clean and light, although quite small, but we were out other than for sleeping hours, so, it hardly mattered. The breakfast room and lounge were lovely and overlooked the ocean. Breakfast offerings were varied enough to start our day well. There is a large outdoor area which, in warmer weather, would have been a great place for the evenings. The beach is right there and available for walking. Nice and quiet in October.

Deb and Joe the owners, and Stephanie the GM could not have been more gracious or hospitable! Like everyone else in the world we needed a break from “sheltered in place “ and ventured to the cape on day 1 of phase 2. We had the most beautiful room on the water that has all the comforts of home. Quiet, relaxing CLEAN and so comfortable we stayed an extra day !
We will no doubt we returning several times this summer!

Great location right on the beach, with a great view from the breakfast area. Rooms are cozy, tastefully decorated and very clean. Great staff, welcoming and eager to help. Continental breakfast included with fresh fruit and pastries. Highly recommended for any stay in Cape Cod!

My wife and I were in the cape for a wedding and selected the Inn mostly based on location and I must say we were quite pleased w our decision. Room was a little small but quite comfortable/clean and staff was delightful.. the beach is great and the nite sky was really awesome. Breakfast was nice and just enough to get the day started-- view of the beach and ocean from eating area is fantastic. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend to anyone visiting the area

My family was in town for a wedding. We all stayed in room 10, (Provincetown), 2 queen beds. big closet. Nice room. Fantastic view, great private deck. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The Inn is in a great location , you can walk to town in 5 minutes. Ample private parking. Mellow, relaxed, atmosphere. I highly recommend staying here.

We cannot begin to express how much we enjoyed our time at "Inn at the Beach". We stayed in one of the beach houses and the views and the comfort were incredible. We were there in late October and seemed to have the beach to ourselves. We also enjoyed the protected beach/ocean view patio available to all guests.The management is very friendly and helpful. The inn is ideally situated just off the beaten path but moments from wonderful restaurants and other services. I wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely return to this wonderful Inn in wonderful Harwich Port.
